[00:00:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Hi y'all, I'm America and if you thought I spilled way too much in the Big Brother house,

[00:00:04] [SPEAKER_00]: brace yourself from my brand new Bapsor podcast on RHAP America Tales All.

[00:00:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I went on Big Brother for the right reason and I still fell in love, so I know a thing

[00:00:14] [SPEAKER_00]: or two about reality TV romance.

[00:00:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm also a huge Bachelor Nation girlie, so I've been waiting for,

[00:00:20] [SPEAKER_00]: ever, to finally get to spill my unfiltered opinions on every juicy bachelor moment.

[00:00:25] [SPEAKER_00]: The party's starting with the Golden Bachelorette,

[00:00:27] [SPEAKER_00]: so get your prune juice ready, you don't want to miss anything I have to say.

[00:00:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Follow all the fun at americatailsall.com or search americatailsall wherever you listen to podcasts.

[00:00:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Bachelor Nation, get ready for america.

[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm a DJ Jeffery and with me to talk about the most recent two episodes of Bel-Air on Peacock,

[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Season 3, it's Puyo was good.

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, once I get the notification you really can't.

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, unless my social media is popping off then it's good because then it just gets buried

[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_01]: and I might not see the naughty.

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_02]: We're definitely going to talk about that and much more this week on recap,

[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_02]: keep back presents the Bel-Air I post your recap again.

[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_02]: This is season 3 episode 5 and 6.

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_02]: We thought we were going to slow it down and take them one by one as Peacock's

[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_02]: really rose out this amazing show episode by episode week by week and then Puyo,

[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_02]: they continue to drop these episodes two at a time.

[00:02:12] [SPEAKER_02]: What are they doing?

[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why are they rushing to get to the end of this.

[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Unless they have a season 4 ready for six months from now,

[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why we waited for a year and a half only for you to just like quickly shove it through.

[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's like on the one hand, a lot of times we get these streaming shows,

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_02]: they drop all of them at one.

[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I got to get the podcast doing, I got to watch it.

[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I got to beat all the spoilers.

[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_02]: There's so many things you've got to do sometimes when you're covering shows and you drop

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_02]: it once but then when you expect to go in and save a show like Bel-Air,

[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_02]: something you've been waiting for on for a very long time,

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_02]: you definitely don't expect for you to come and go so quickly.

[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm struggling with that right now for you.

[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't love it.

[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't love it because I also can't help myself if the episodes are out.

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I want to watch them and make me pace myself.

[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Give me one a week.

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Let us milk it, milk the occasion.

[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I just don't want to be done with Bel-Air and we're in a position where we're going to be done in two weeks.

[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, almost done.

[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I said, five and six are out and seven and eight will be dropping.

[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_02]: If they're not already out, they're probably right now after this.

[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_02]: So thank you all for catching us week to week as we drop two episodes at a time.

[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_02]: If they ever slow down and start doing them at once at a time, we'll cover them like that.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_02]: But in the meantime it looks like we have to catch up with the drop schedule because we do

[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_02]: have a lot to talk about.

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_02]: So thank you all for coming here and being here with us recapkickback.com.

[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Make sure you subscribe.

[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_02]: And we have a nice little bit of there playlist for you.

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Boo, yeah.

[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_02]: These two episodes.

[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Why don't you think about them overall?

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I really liked them.

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like combined with the two episodes we did not only do we move the plot quite a bit

[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_01]: but we also answered some questions that were looming.

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like we got a cameo to end all cameos.

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_01]: We got to get started and all guest stars.

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I am so pumped to finally get to talk about this with you.

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the other thing with covering a show with a friend is that you want to save it all for

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_01]: the pot so you can't talk about it with them.

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited to hear your thoughts too.

[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, uh, I mean we got a we got to talk about it at some point.

[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Joseph Marcel aka the original Jeffrey.

[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Came and graced our presence here on this podcast and I will say,

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_02]: we all love Jeffrey from the Freshman's Abellaire.

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_02]: We definitely love the new Jeffrey from Bellaire on P.Cock.

[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_02]: But now I'm thinking okay we brought the old Jeffrey back.

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Who you who's your preferred Jeffrey?

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Did you got to pick now?

[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_02]: You got to pick?

[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I got to pick.

[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_02]: It's to what they in the same room.

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_02]: You can only door A Jeffrey, door B Jeffrey.

[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_01]: That's different because on one of the Jeffries is so funny and was my favorite character on the

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Fresh Prince of Bellaire.

[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_01]: The other Jeffrey is a bad man and he's also my favorite character on fresh per A on Bellaire.

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. So they're different Jeffries but I like them both for different reasons

[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_01]: but if you have to make me pick, I mean right now there's still enough more content from original

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Jeffrey that I'm always going to go with original Jeffrey.

[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Original Jeffrey being as posh as he was but then also goofing out dancing,

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_01]: like you know gambling with the children taking their money but also giving it back.

[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_01]: So many good moments with Jeffrey on the other show but I can't just like both.

[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_01]: What is wrong with you? What kind of why are you doing this?

[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I got a whole Jofi to the fire just a little bit making me some hard decisions here

[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_02]: for you because we got the OG Jeffrey, Joseph Marcel in this episode but not in a way

[00:05:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I would have expected to come across him. I don't know what I thought if they we ever

[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_02]: were to get this cameo in the past we've seen the old school and Viva of Showa.

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_02]: We've seen other characters from the past, Velaire come in and make

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_02]: specific appearances in this show and I love that.

[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_02]: But to get Jeffrey the OG Jeffrey in this role we are, this was a certainly a twist from what

[00:06:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I could have seen coming I guess in my mind.

[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah no this was 100% a twist for me. I didn't expect to see him and even if we had thought about

[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_01]: okay if he comes what role would he play? I think maybe he's like this Jeffrey's dad or grandfather

[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_01]: like somehow familial tie but he's like part of the crime syndicate that Jeffrey ran away from

[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_01]: and he's one of the heads of it not like the main but clearly one of the higher rubs.

[00:06:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah so we see of course our new Jeffrey, he has been watching Fredrick closely because as I said

[00:06:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't trust him and we find out that this burner phone that he found has been used to contact

[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Fredrick's mom so not only do we get Jeffrey we get Jeffrey's baby mama in this one and she

[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_02]: seemingly has Fredrick's ear you know Jeffrey very much wants his near him so he can keep an eye

[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_02]: on to make sure the enemies don't watch him but I don't know it it looks like Fredrick

[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_02]: hey look at that Jeffrey it's a I know you want me here but I don't really even know you like that

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_02]: you know you left me hanging and so now there's some tension between the Fredrick go back with

[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_02]: his mom or does he stay where Jeffrey can keep an eye on him well that's the thing I feel like

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_01]: what we find out that the reason why there's eyes on him now is that Jeffrey made contact and

[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_01]: kind of they found him and they found the mom so that kind of put him all back on the radar

[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_01]: but obviously there's no safer place than being with Jeffrey right now but really is it like

[00:07:53] [SPEAKER_01]: he is definitely the reason why Fredrick is safe and I think ultimately making the decision to

[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_01]: have them all stay with him is the right move but that all being said I'm nervous

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_01]: sheppell I'm nervous because I'll tell you this that last scene the Jeffrey handshake

[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_01]: the goodbye Jeffrey and shaking hands pardon me with the music that was swelling up I

[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_01]: thought oh my god is he gonna get shot in the back like I thought he's gonna get shot so I'm

[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_01]: nervous I don't think he gave the money to give them the safety because they said basically

[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_01]: either your part of the you're coming back to pay your debts by being part of the syndicate or

[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_01]: you pay for that with your son's life basically and he gave the money in the sentence that

[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_01]: this is my account or offer but we don't know if they're gonna accept it I don't think we're done here

[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_02]: you know on the one hand I did feel like the story like okay he shut it down here's the money

[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_02]: make them accept the offer as what he says something to that effect like if this ain't enough

[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_02]: making enough and then he goes on about his day and you're right there is a handshake so we are

[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_02]: it's supposed to be led to believe that you know maybe he just bought his freedom from the crime syndicate

[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_02]: but I mean we just got Joseph Marcel you don't want to stretch it out just a little bit

[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_02]: logger I mean we got four more episodes in the season you really this is gonna be the end of

[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_01]: all of you Jeffrey I just refuse to believe it same I don't think we're done here there's no

[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_01]: way you got him for one half of an episode only to that and for us never to see him again like

[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_01]: that first confrontation between the two of them was so sick I loved it because this is Roman he's

[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_02]: playing the character named Roman who apparently was left in charge when when when when our

[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Jeffrey went on the run they he told Roman to look out for his baby mom he looked out for his

[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_02]: child Frederick and in Roman gets arrested like the like the next was immediately yeah almost immediately

[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_02]: and so Frederick probably been growing up with a chip on his shoulder because he was put up for

[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_02]: adoption we know his mom did it but she didn't really have the support that she needed because

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Jeffrey who was probably the breadwinner at the time seeing how much money he ends up handling

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_02]: by the end of these two episodes he just leaves her hanging and he thought he was doing what was

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_02]: best for the family but I don't know I feel like if I was Frederick I'd be a little resentful too

[00:10:08] [SPEAKER_01]: not knowing you know both sides yeah I mean it's funny because think of it this way

[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_01]: to Frederick Jeffrey is what Lewis to will where you don't have the full story and you're kind

[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_01]: of like you know like whatever my dad is now kind of scummy that he left me behind kind of scummy

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_01]: that he didn't take care of me and obviously he was doing it for the betterment of his

[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_01]: child but you don't quite know that yet so and you grew up having that kind of heat it's

[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_02]: going to take a while before that he's gone yeah yeah Penelope probably hasn't been making it easy

[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_02]: because she's been reconnected with Frederick because she knows her side of the story you know

[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_02]: which is I probably told Jeffrey not to do this you know not to go and and go on the run or

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_02]: or make the moves that he was doing and so she's probably resenting and you're right there's a

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_02]: parallel between what we'll see is happening with Lou and Will over on that side but here yeah I

[00:11:08] [SPEAKER_02]: have to look and say okay Penelope she's tied to Frederick Jeffrey's tied to Frederick he's

[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_02]: leading to her to his mom his dad's probably safer to be around but I also have the question

[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_02]: if that's even the case when Jeffrey is the whole reason to boy even has a target on his back you

[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_02]: know like Jeffrey and Penelope both reached out to their key to make a connection and that connection

[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_02]: is what led everybody this way now does that target stay off their back now that Jeffrey has

[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_02]: ripped open the punching bag and taking out all the money I guess we shall see we'll find out

[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah I was not expecting that to be full of money that was kind of cool like they

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_02]: are we talking about Jeffrey to see could age it before but this episode man I'm really dope

[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah the punching bag that he's been using for for what I thought was cardio is actually his

[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_02]: money yeah I'm like Jeffrey what was you doing over there across the far you got

[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_02]: well you what have money come from Jeffrey Jeffrey moving drugs Julia is Uncle Phil heart

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_01]: harboring a future Jeff of the law I don't know I think he's harboring someone who moved away

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_01]: from that life and is living clean maybe but really because Jeffrey was definitely about to go

[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_02]: back to that life in Uncle Phil the judge was like all right Jeffrey you do what you got to do

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_01]: here's the funny thing man I think genuinely they've set up a good enough story here where we could

[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_01]: get a Jeffrey spin off like you got a hundred percent do a Jeffrey spin off you know top boy was one

[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_01]: of the biggest shows for a while just enough to be yeah yeah yeah yeah you got you know

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_01]: British British uh trying to indicate yeah let's get something go get me fun I'd be into it

[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah yeah but I feel like I need more crossover because I'm not ready to leave these characters

[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_02]: by like if you take Jeffrey you got to take somebody else too like Jeffrey and Ashley go do

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_01]: like a buddy cop film or something all I'm saying is what I don't want is you build all this up

[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_01]: and then we're having a spin off but it's led by Frederick I don't want that oh no yeah the Frederick

[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Prince of Bill are I don't need it oh don't need it oh so yeah so the Jeffrey storyline is

[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_02]: probably wrapped up maybe not again you do you want to waste this character for just this

[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_02]: time I guess we shall see moving forward another character that I don't expect to see too much of

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_02]: now is probably Erica her name came up because uh Uncle Phil has to go to her and make it clear

[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_02]: that he is an interested in a business relationship then some gotten a little tense in the bank's

[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_01]: household as well as Uncle Phil and Viv Go for you yeah um what were your thoughts on this tell me

[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_02]: your feelings first so um I liked that Uncle Phil went to go stand 10 toes down right like I

[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_02]: like he went to Erica and was like hey chill out because Erica's tell him we we talked about this

[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_02]: business wise and this is not a good move for you this you definitely don't need to be severing

[00:14:03] [SPEAKER_02]: times with us and Uncle Phil's like now I could tell there was trouble in paradise so I need to go ahead

[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_02]: and shut this down he probably shouldn't let this get this far but now that him and Viv have

[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_02]: actually had a conversation about their relationship I think that yeah cutting off people who might be

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_02]: temptation might be for the best you know okay she's trying which I'm trying we've also acknowledged

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_02]: that we haven't really been intimate we haven't really been loving each other like we should

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_02]: maybe push the characters and especially the cherries a little bit further from our relationship

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_01]: that's probably how I'm thinking why you especially in Cherif because anything that should be on

[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_02]: now Cassie here's a problem Erica she was from the past she was from the past there was

[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_02]: history there were her in Uncle Phil so those tensions were like oh things that were just bubbling

[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_02]: back up because he was like he said he was enjoying the attention that she was giving him

[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_02]: that is not making right I just could understand the Erica a little bit more but we're playing

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_02]: defense against Cherif Erica was already within the like we're trying to like get her away from us

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_02]: we try to keep Cherif out and I feel like that's a harder force because look at that beard

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Julia knows muscles this man is going to be unstoppable you gotta keep a midbay dude he was Uncle

[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Phil and Envives at wedding anniversary and he was feeding her Cherif was feeding her lunch

[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah and Uncle Phil walked in and to his point to his credit out keeping kind of cool he was like

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_02]: it's cool you know that's fine that's fine but then he said something very interesting

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_02]: to end up popping off a big argument between the two of them he said yeah I trust you completely because

[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_02]: when you say there's nothing to worry about and it means nothing I understand you it's how

[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_02]: like the subtext was unlike you who blow things up out of proportion but whatever I guess you know

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_02]: we all can't be adults Julia was he rubbing it in a little too much yes she called him out on

[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_01]: everything he was basically like yeah you know I'm not gonna blow my load on something that's not a

[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_01]: big deal harmly yeah what's the problem what a blow it out of proportion it wasn't that deep

[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_01]: which to and Viv the implication is oh so you're saying that I did that with Erica huh

[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_01]: big mistake again Uncle Phil is a smooth operator and then he does some dumb stuff like this where

[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_02]: so obvious what he's doing yeah and see that's the the wild part about it is that if he could

[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_02]: have just resisted the urge to do that I felt like he handled it so well okay man you know what

[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_02]: she's full I ain't worried about that it's good to see you we'll talk later enjoy your lunch

[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_02]: oh maybe bring it up if it's an issue talk about it later on I hey what was that about but you

[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_02]: don't gotta make a big deal out of it but he could not resist just being like over reacting to

[00:16:55] [SPEAKER_02]: harmless moment I know I would never do it so can't relate to anybody who would it wouldn't be

[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_02]: weird and somebody held something harmless against you like I don't know having lunch with

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_02]: this man on our anniversary oh well could never be me you know and so I was like Phil you almost

[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_02]: had some cool points like I felt like she would have respected that a little bit more had you

[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_02]: actually genuinely showed it came up and showed like hey it doesn't bother me and also maybe

[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_01]: talk about it if he does by the you well that's the thing I think for Uncle Phil in that moment

[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_01]: he is like he's joccing for position he's trying to get the brownie points back um because they

[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_01]: they start their anniversary with the kids having made them breakfast but the kids also finding out

[00:17:41] [SPEAKER_01]: that they're not sleeping in the same room and I think he wants to fix everything and he knows

[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_01]: in that moment he can cause a ruckus and yell at she or he can just let it go because he's trying

[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_01]: to look at the bigger picture and fix things which is obviously the move but he also kind of wants

[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_01]: his credit and I feel like that's where he's wrong like he should not be making it clear of like

[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_01]: you know I don't care I just care about us you know it's all about love it's all about me

[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_01]: and you this anniversary what also you got to give it to me like I handled myself like a champ today

[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_01]: no you don't it leaves out part out you don't need that part but my favorite part of all this

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Chipotle is when he's like get those wackass flowers so yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_02]: be that sheriff scram that's what I have in my notes he can go I never want to see this man again

[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah I I can tell I can tell there were sharks in the water and so hopefully we got rid of

[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_02]: sheriff for good but it didn't take a little work you know uh and Viv and Uncle Phil did have to

[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_02]: talk about their issues um you know we kind of alluded to but and Viv did like all the pictures on

[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_02]: the man's page even though she didn't mean to but just through proxy of her friends taking her

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_02]: phone she was showing her phone off to like this uh this new handsome guy off on her phone

[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_02]: to all her friends and stuff sheriff caught on that and Viv was interested so it's not like sheriff

[00:19:02] [SPEAKER_02]: was just you know stocking around it's and Viv kind of put the feel is out there a little bit

[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_01]: no I don't think in this put the feelers out there all and Viv did was acknowledge that it felt nice

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_01]: well okay so when she was talking about how felt nice to be to be appreciated and and she thought

[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_01]: he was good looking yeah you know I'm it was nice it was nice to have another person like look you

[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_01]: know appreciate me and dress me with their eyes I was like wait a minute like this I don't know

[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_01]: like everything else is like oh fuck that is a lot like on dress with my with their eyes is a lot

[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah you know she said I like the way he made me feel like I'm sexy you know or she like I like

[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I like that can I need more of that and so it is a weird thing to say I understand what she's trying

[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_02]: to present is like how wish you would look at me like that you know I wish I missed the feeling that

[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_02]: you used to have when you would do me like that but at the same time when you say like you enjoyed

[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_02]: him and dress with you why you enjoyed so much you know I could see you missing when I do it but

[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_02]: you shouldn't enjoy when he do it so I I hear you um and it was hard for both of them really to talk

[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_02]: about their feelings you know him even uh I could feel saying yeah like the attention I was

[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_02]: getting from Erica cool bit they've talked about it they said everything is cool do you think

[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_02]: we'll have more interruptions in the banks relationship before the end of the season no it's

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_01]: felt like they put a bow on it and it's done right if that's how it felt like but also

[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_01]: we've seen she read for one to many episodes for me to not think something else is going to happen

[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_02]: if that makes it yeah no that's a good point uh I was going to make a different point

[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_02]: for you okay I feel like we haven't really solved the intimacy problem yet and so I think this

[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_02]: is an over you know they talked yeah wait no you know this is a this is a family show but we

[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_02]: haven't seen them you know we haven't really seen them uh we can't do the flame yet I

[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I think there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there's a there

[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_02]: done here or we go get some more interferences I feel like maybe she read for Erica's been

[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_02]: to the black because there you know it feels a little cute it's like all right if it's all good

[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_02]: well you're not kissing so that's that's my suspicion for you but I'm just throwing it out there

[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I think I agree with you I don't think it's going to be Erica I think it's going to be

[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_02]: sure if yeah I can see that I really could cause Erica she she's on borrowed time right she

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_02]: have been gone they they really did like an event barely let her back in her Uncle Phil already had

[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_02]: a little history in the past as well so we just she's lucky to be being our presence but Sharif

[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Sharif is new you know he don't really oh Uncle Phil nothing you know just because

[00:21:45] [SPEAKER_02]: at Viva's cool with Uncle Phil don't mean Sharif is ready to stand down and so I could see definitely

[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_02]: what you're talking about he doesn't really have a lot of strings attached to him in the same

[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_02]: way Erica does so maybe he can't there's another event maybe he slides back into those DMs

[00:22:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I think you might be on to something. Well off the way didn't see but if anybody's doing any

[00:22:08] [SPEAKER_01]: maneuvers it's it's and Vivian Sharif I's already not a me yeah yeah so let's put a pin in that

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_02]: because there will be a lot more to talk about with that what do you think about the return of Loo

[00:22:20] [SPEAKER_02]: and it by in this episode because both of the wheels parents are in the same spot for the first time

[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_02]: and it took a lot to get them here but it did seem like they had some meaningful conversations

[00:22:30] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah I felt like they kind of built this very nicely in the two episode arc that we had here where

[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_01]: it was on the heels of and Viv and Uncle Phil getting to a better place and Carlton and actually

[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_01]: helping them get there that we see Will feel inspired to do this for his own family he gets his

[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_01]: mom to come over and he pushes her he basically has to push her to hey uh Looz and town let's talk about that

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_01]: and I'm happy I did like to see the with a conversation when it was good to get them both in a room

[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_01]: and essentially have Loo map out of and say hey this is why I lost everything it's because

[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I was old money I want to get that money things went south that's all it was and then and

[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I also taking in the or accepting the part she played in it which was an in tell him to do

[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_01]: anything to anybody but I said don't stand down get your money so those two things combined this happened

[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_01]: but of another miscommunication but also this was not the energy we had for each other the whole time

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't like this I didn't like it I didn't like why explain why because

[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it's and this is gonna this is the personal thing this has nothing to do with the show right

[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_02]: this is just the way I've been reading the show it does make some departures from the main story lines

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_02]: the major things but yeah this is such a big departure from the fresh prince Lord that we know and love

[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_02]: that I just like I can believe Jeffrey as a secret agent it's really hard for me to believe

[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Loo wants to be in Will's life now because to me I will never see you know Will Smith's iconic moment

[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah why do he won't be man you know like that kind of thing to me is so fresh prince of

[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Bellair so it should be so Bellair that it's hard for me to reconcile the two things I guess if

[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_02]: you've never seen the fresh prince of Bellair it probably don't hit like that but I know you have

[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_02]: to me yes I can't remove that loop from my mind

[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Hi y'all I'm America and if you thought I spilled way too much in the big brother house

[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_00]: brace yourself for my brand new bachelor podcast on RHAP America tells all

[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I went on big brother for the right reasons and I still fell in love so I know a thing or two

[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_00]: about reality TV romance I'm also a huge bachelor nation girlie so I've been waiting for

[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_00]: ever to finally get to spill my unfiltered opinions on every juicy bachelor moment the party

[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_00]: starting with the golden bachelor at so get your prune juice ready you don't want to miss anything

[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I have to say follow all the fun at america tells all dot com or search america tells all

[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_00]: wherever you listen a podcast bachelor nation get ready for america well that's it that is that

[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_01]: to me is like top three emotional moments for me watching a show of all time that moment with Will

[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_01]: and on kulfill um that being said I think that's still not necessarily impossible should

[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_01]: help that that was a sitcom where within a 20 minutes band they made us believe that

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Will's dad wants him back once everything do with them then runs out into the night by the end of

[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_01]: the episode this is a dramatized series this could happen in like four episodes from now

[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_01]: it could happen next season so just because he's here now and we end the episode with them playing hoops

[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_01]: one on one together doesn't mean that he's gonna stick around he could still do something

[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_02]: nefarious and run off yeah and not not that I'm wishing on Will to have this broken home that he had in

[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_02]: the past but I also feel like this show does a good job of um I won't say sensationalizing

[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_02]: but the people on the show blow a lot of things out of proportion to like a large like extent

[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I remember uh in like the earlier seasons maybe the first season I think it's um like they were

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_02]: like all hiding will secret that he had to leave uh Billy because of the he went to jail that time

[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_02]: with the gun and all that stuff and then like three or four episodes in you and I were saying

[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I really wasn't that big of a deal he didn't do anything he didn't kill anybody you know and so

[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_02]: this now it has me reading the vibe and lose situations in okay but why have you been mad at him all this

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_02]: like it's not like the the tool of them had a misunderstanding and now that Will is there they

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_02]: understand it differently they both know everything that Will knows this is now Will's in on it so it's

[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_02]: like the beast that they had that was keeping Will away from his dad had really nothing to do with

[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_02]: the uh like Loo going to jail vibe was understood why that happens she wasn't a fan of it but

[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_02]: is that the reason to keep Loo away from Will and like harbor there's uh kind of like this imaginary

[00:27:19] [SPEAKER_02]: beef between the two of them Abby's clearly don't get along but to me I thought it always

[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_02]: stem from the same place and that feels like that's just a different beef yeah I feel like they

[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_01]: might have their own side issues um or she didn't really fully grasp the exact story herself

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_01]: and yeah she wanted to keep Will away from him as a result so kind of villainize them a little bit maybe

[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_01]: um here's the interesting thing to me so and Vivv clearly brings up to uh sorry a vibranic

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_01]: and Vivv that hey uh black says is all good and all but this isn't gonna pay for my child's

[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_01]: college and so she's clearly she wants them to to turn back to basketball I think Loo wants

[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_01]: him to turn back to basketball so if you're looking for your how come he don't want me man moment

[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_01]: it could be when when Will gets to that basketball thing Loo's like right I'm here uh I'm

[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_01]: mmba dad now where's my money? Maybe that's the story like I don't know but it is interesting

[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_01]: to me that it's like Will has two parents or sorry two families right he's got um buy and

[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Loo and then and Vivv and Uncle Phil and Vivv and Uncle Phil like do whatever you want

[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_01]: pursue your business dreams get all your aspirations do all the things and they're like

[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_01]: but the basketball's what's gonna get you somewhere this is fun for the summer but the basketball's

[00:28:42] [SPEAKER_01]: what you need so it'll be fun to see where we go from here those hoop dreams are in his DNA you

[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_02]: know his dad had the same vision and he's like oh yes I could have done other things but I

[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_02]: knew basketball was the way out and so it really does mirror the life that uh Will is having you know

[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_02]: where he could do other things but basketball is the surefire way and Loo thinks that if Loo

[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_02]: stuck to basketball everything would have been great but he's in he's afraid that Will is

[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_02]: making the wrong mistake here and I think that that's about it if I'm Loo I'm looking at my life

[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_02]: experiencing it dang I don't want that to happen to my son now there's some really big differences

[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_02]: here uh and these people lives I don't know if it's just a pride thing or what but uh Will Smith

[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_02]: or whatever his last name is in this show uh him graduating from this preparatory school in

[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Belair living with his rich aren't an uncle pretty much ensures that he's going to college you know

[00:29:37] [SPEAKER_02]: there's no way and Vivian Uncle Phil are going to let this man cross the stage without some

[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_02]: connections some scholarships or at least some flat out cash to pay for a couple semesters and

[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_02]: or more it's cool so I'm thinking okay maybe buy and Loo like we want you to do it on your own

[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_02]: that's a little irresponsible you know like had y'all had a system it's maybe just maybe

[00:29:59] [SPEAKER_02]: y'all wouldn't have had to you know do whatever it took to survive those cold winters and

[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_02]: fillet so I'm looking at the Will situation at the again that basketball will never be his

[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_02]: only option anymore I think now that they've reconnected with the banks is he will have other

[00:30:13] [SPEAKER_01]: options this is a matter of if this you want to take them right I mean the the pride has always been

[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_01]: there with Will where it's clear he doesn't really want to go the handouts route but when I came

[00:30:23] [SPEAKER_01]: to the business stuff he was like you know Uncle Phil would help us and Carlton was like no we're not

[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_01]: doing this he kept on Carlton we're not doing this so I feel like he's not going to want that

[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_01]: but I think ultimately what all it comes down to is like I just I just don't see him not going

[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_01]: to college you know I think I'm with you it's like no even if he doesn't want the hand

[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_01]: of the like shut up you're taking the hand out you'll pay us back later like that's the compromise

[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_02]: and even if it's not college Will's never going back to Phil needs a little full-time you know

[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_02]: like let's be real he's a joint bail air he he might be a fairly guy or has been in a couple

[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_02]: years ago but the things that were in Philly the streets and all the stuff that he was getting into

[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_02]: that should like chase them basically to you know California they still exist you know not the same

[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_02]: gangbanger that was there thanks to Jeffrey but you know it's still the same type of a type of

[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_02]: time type of action so I just don't see this guy going from mingling at the country club

[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_02]: making these connections graduating from this prestigious school and it's an hour yeah I'm

[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_02]: going back to Philly the goal you know work at a Delhi like it's not happening right he's

[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_02]: going to college or Uncle Philly's gonna hook him up with a good job or something yeah I he's covered

[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I think he's covered again pride aside they will tell them they're like yes you are good like

[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_02]: do not worry you are good yeah um because yeah yeah I think we can it's this point we can see you

[00:31:49] [SPEAKER_02]: on the future that we'll could potentially have whether that's just finding you know different

[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_02]: jobs that he'd be good at in the business realm or in turning somewhere and then moving his way up

[00:31:57] [SPEAKER_02]: there's a lot of options for somebody like him and maybe even more options for somebody like him

[00:32:01] [SPEAKER_02]: then Carlton who does have this um is I guess you could say all of the staying on his uh resume

[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_02]: right now with his um his drug use and getting in trouble at school because Carlton is now going to

[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_02]: try to navigate his addiction and his girlfriend Amira which everyone has said this was a bad idea

[00:32:20] [SPEAKER_02]: for you but finally in this episode we get we have to cross the bridge um Amira might be making

[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_01]: a decision that are not in Carlton's best interest. Oh might be I mean we've seen Carlton

[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_01]: progress a lot with his um anonymous meetings that he's been going to I think his uh would you call

[00:32:44] [SPEAKER_01]: his sponsor is that that's am I using that correctly? Yeah I don't know if it's his sponsor but

[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_01]: he's definitely the group leader of that in Amira. Yeah and yeah Spencer is it his sponsor because

[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I think sponsors are different term like I had like a one-on-one like a one-on-one kind of yeah

[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't like his sense they right now his super his sober sense say um what Spencer and him have been

[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_01]: really building a great strong bond here and I feel like Spencer's been giving him some sage advice

[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_01]: and within one episode we see Amira essentially say we quit this we quit this entire establishment

[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Spencer because all because Spencer clearly has a eye out for Carlton and his helping Carlton out

[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_01]: but she doesn't like it I really loved and we didn't talk about this but I really loved when

[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Spencer came over to the country club to talk to Carlton when Carlton had that episode when

[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_01]: they were doing the pickleball thing um so like Spencer clearly has a good look out for him but

[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Amira definitely doesn't love that Spencer essentially um hinted that hey maybe you don't

[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_02]: need this connection with Amira to go that strong right now. Right again we don't want you to be in

[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_02]: a series relationship this early in your you know you're healing process it impacts a lot of

[00:33:59] [SPEAKER_02]: this there's a lot of heartache and depression they could come from um you know a falling out if

[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_02]: you fall out with somebody you're in love with you know that that does a feel great that could leave

[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Carlton back into making some questionable decisions also maybe Amira's just not the greatest

[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_02]: influence on him and although Spencer had not seen that really yet um he could tell that that's probably

[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_02]: a pattern with people who have to deal with these struggles and so he gives Carlton that wisdom

[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_02]: after Carlton has a little running at the country club because him and Will were acting almost

[00:34:30] [SPEAKER_02]: like servers at this pickleball event like you talked about and Carlton came across the alcohol now we

[00:34:37] [SPEAKER_02]: he in some getting his door back at the end of these two episodes but prior to this he was on

[00:34:42] [SPEAKER_02]: probation with the banks as you know they were checking his pee you could not have his door he definitely

[00:34:46] [SPEAKER_02]: had the liquor cabinet locked up so Carlton couldn't get in there Carlton almost has a panic attack

[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_02]: and pretty much has the exit the premises and that's what let Spencer to come in how did you think

[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_02]: that the show depicted Carlton's moment because I actually was very surprised that it would happen

[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_02]: like this on the show not because I didn't think they would go there which is my mind wasn't

[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_01]: really set on would there be temptations for Carlton at work yeah I mean the it was like a two second

[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_01]: moment where he's given this trade-a-holeed and immediately he just goes into the space I think what

[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_01]: happens is with Carlton as that well we're seeing is when there's a high intense stress situation

[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_01]: and there's alcohol or narcotics around that's when he's at his most vulnerable

[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_01]: whereas you know if he's like in a chill spot and they're like drink is like dumb good but when it's

[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_01]: stressful he's kind of like oh my god this is a lot and needs to remove himself yeah and the stress

[00:35:45] [SPEAKER_02]: of and Vivian Uncle feels relationship kind of being rocky right now is really where it's put in Carlton

[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_02]: him and Spencer talks Spencer talks about how you know this might not be the greatest thing for

[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_02]: you to be doing right now in this relationship with the mirror but this is really bad timing because

[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Carlton he's really trying to connect with the mirror he ends up inviting a mirror to his crib

[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_02]: to have dinner with the family and yes I don't know what I expected but definitely expected

[00:36:15] [SPEAKER_02]: to show up I was not I was very surprised when she showed up late I thought she might show up

[00:36:20] [SPEAKER_01]: because like I'm assuming there's going to be drama that comes out of this so I was like maybe she

[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_01]: shows up and she's looking like you know maybe she's done something or you see the part she

[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_01]: did something to you I well when she explained why she was feeling the way she was feeling

[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I felt like okay you know that makes a lot of sense because initially when the door open I was like oh

[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_01]: something happened yeah but I didn't know what but then I now I don't know I don't think so

[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_01]: she does end the episode sharing location with Carlton so that Carlton doesn't have to worry about where

[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_02]: she is what do you think about that I think that she was high I think she showed up and she had

[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_02]: been doing drugs and I think when Carlton confronted her about it or when he saw her you know

[00:37:04] [SPEAKER_02]: she kind of used whatever the situation was with her sister where she said oh no no it's not that

[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just you know I'm really sad blah blah I'm struggling it's my sister's death I feel like

[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_02]: that's a cover up I feel like um Amira um her presence in Carlton's life as far as like the story

[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_02]: telling aspect of the show right it is just it's like pushing so far when everybody's trying to

[00:37:28] [SPEAKER_02]: push her out so much then I'm like all right there's gotta be a reason like there gotta be some

[00:37:32] [SPEAKER_02]: drama coming from Amira and like you said had she shown up at the dinner I would have thought

[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_02]: there would have been drama at the dinner but because she showed up late I'm led to believe that

[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_02]: now she's enslaved off the wagon and that was just kind of her go to you know defense mode

[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_02]: whenever whenever someone calls her on something like that I would imagine that maybe this was

[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_02]: not the first time uh this year that it's been the anniversary of her sister's death

[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah yeah I mean uh it could very well be just a cover up for sure I could definitely see that

[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I am well I want to know because Spencer clearly knows Amira more than more than Carlton does

[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_01]: as in like they've known each other longer potentially so I wonder how much lore at some point

[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_01]: we're gonna get out of Spencer to Carlton because the for me I'm looking at this from a story

[00:38:25] [SPEAKER_01]: perspective you giving Amira a mirror giving her location of Carlton only means that at some point she's

[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_01]: gonna go off the grid as in like she's just heard like a map of the distance before and can't find it

[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah it's not up refreshing so it doesn't work to do and where to go so he goes to Spencer and Spencer's

[00:38:45] [SPEAKER_01]: like well usually should go to this one spot that I know and that's where he goes and maybe he finds

[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_01]: her there something like that I think that's something we could be keeping an eye on it's a good

[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_02]: spot it because to me when you share your location with somebody that don't mean nothing you know

[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_02]: at first of all I ain't got enough of nobody so I'm grown if I want to go I'm gonna go and

[00:39:03] [SPEAKER_02]: you could ask me why I'm there but you definitely can't ask me where I'm going or whatever I might tell you

[00:39:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I might not but you know this is a relationship like unless you know on the little map she's like

[00:39:13] [SPEAKER_02]: oh man home and then the little dot is it like oh look a random crackhouse you know like I don't really

[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_02]: don't see the location thing being a big deal you know because in my mind she's probably doing drugs

[00:39:25] [SPEAKER_02]: where she's comfortable at home or around the same area it's like I doubt that he's gonna be like

[00:39:29] [SPEAKER_02]: what is she doing on that side of town you know I don't know I don't really see a mirror as the

[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_02]: oh yeah I followed her off the grid you know as well when I got there she was doing something CD and I

[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_02]: caught her I really felt like this was symbolic but nothing damning that would get her into any trouble

[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_02]: like you said if she does go offline Spencer definitely could come through with the information because

[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I'd have to imagine a mirror's business that Spencer knows he probably I don't know there's

[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_02]: like they're probably not out there anything you gotta take but I'm pretty sure he's like kind of

[00:40:00] [SPEAKER_02]: on her bound to not just go tell her business to call it to him you know like kind of like

[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_02]: a confidentiality thing but if it's something where we can't find her Carlton has whatever reason

[00:40:09] [SPEAKER_02]: to be worth it's like it's a major yeah yeah like she did this last time she was gone for two

[00:40:15] [SPEAKER_02]: weeks you know I really need your help I think Spencer might crack but I wasn't expecting a mirror

[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_02]: to completely push Spencer away until Carlton we're not coming to these meetings anymore right

[00:40:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't see that coming either but here we are yeah and this is that Spencer has been a good

[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_02]: part of the season so far he was able to give Uncle Phil and Viva, well sorry Vai and Lou

[00:40:35] [SPEAKER_02]: the room so they could have their little intervention and he was able to give Carlton a place to go

[00:40:41] [SPEAKER_02]: but it looks like we might be seeing less of Spencer unless he comes to save the day later on

[00:40:46] [SPEAKER_02]: we have to see later on we haven't talked about Ashley at all Ashley this sort of never been a thing

[00:40:53] [SPEAKER_01]: you said in season two like yeah you believe where we are Ashley has story life yeah

[00:40:59] [SPEAKER_02]: what's your wild because she normally does it she normally doesn't I definitely would have said

[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_02]: we haven't talked about Ashley in a while but I wouldn't have anywhere to go with that information

[00:41:08] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah yeah and there I got a little stuff and yeah Ashley is also very broken up about the

[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_02]: rocky relationship between Uncle Phil and Viva I'm not going to lie to you this is the worst part

[00:41:21] [SPEAKER_02]: of dealing with teenagers is that around this age 14 15 16 17 my experience as an educator

[00:41:29] [SPEAKER_02]: this is when days start to so you know they really get into their own they really get into

[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_02]: their own emotions a lot and then the world revolves around them and everything is woe as me

[00:41:40] [SPEAKER_02]: they're all dark and twisty Ashley has hit her emo face okay she's she's dark she's twisty

[00:41:46] [SPEAKER_02]: she's brooding nobody understands her parents are the only ones with issues actually your rich

[00:41:52] [SPEAKER_02]: let me remind you Ashley you are rich yeah there are a big there are bigger fish to fry out here

[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_02]: they come all calm down it'll be okay baby they are right they go we are right she's like

[00:42:02] [SPEAKER_02]: why don't they ever just be public about their struggles at the moment you hear them arguing she's

[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_02]: like wait where are they sad are they upset Ashley which one is it pick aside yeah I it's so

[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_01]: funny to me because Ashley right now is in her she's in her music era she's trying to

[00:42:21] [SPEAKER_01]: do some she doesn't express her emotions and feelings through music which is funny because she

[00:42:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Hillary basically found a district on her in this lyric quote what's this song you got here

[00:42:34] [SPEAKER_02]: as he says this is it she's like oh oh yeah Ashley Ashley was happy to pass the notes over

[00:42:40] [SPEAKER_01]: like yeah look at it read the lyrics what's your thing yeah remas shit and then

[00:42:44] [SPEAKER_01]: and then Hillary's like why you did everything but call me a bitch so that's good I guess they

[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_01]: well it's not you don't know it's not done yet I was like okay Ashley go to your voice

[00:42:51] [SPEAKER_02]: oh down yeah like Ashley act like this uh and uncle feeling at Ville drama is a personal attack

[00:42:57] [SPEAKER_02]: on herself but she's usually she's usually also the Hillary drama too nothing that had to do

[00:43:03] [SPEAKER_02]: with Ashley at all but she saw it so she's in it so she's dealing with a lot because she's

[00:43:08] [SPEAKER_02]: making her districts of our family and now on the bright side Hillary has asked her to be

[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_02]: her native honor when she is to marry Lamarca's so a lot from Ashley but also

[00:43:20] [SPEAKER_02]: what are we doing where are we going with this Ashley started a band?

[00:43:24] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah I think um well she was gonna start a band and then she decided not to start a band

[00:43:31] [SPEAKER_01]: because her little friend implied that her grandparents were gonna get divorced

[00:43:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't even see him plop in plop it it's like she said the word divorce and answer that also

[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_02]: so you'll think we've been in it is like oh no Ashley calm down okay again since episode one

[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_02]: this season Ashley gonna say I'm they just they act like they're so perfect it is like all right

[00:43:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Ashley now they're not acting like they're perfect and you can take the heat maybe just calm down

[00:43:56] [SPEAKER_02]: a bit her friend was just trying to help her yeah exactly now Ela shows up and I'm not quite sure

[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_02]: what Ela's purpose is but uh there are non-binary character in this episode it looks like Ashley

[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_02]: might have a connection with uh Hillary was like oh I heard you had a boy in the room actually

[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_02]: like uh Hillary it was nothing but oh yeah it might have been something

[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_02]: what's it something I don't know you know we we we see that the chemistry I guess they seem like

[00:44:32] [SPEAKER_02]: they they get along as friends I don't really like the speculate on 14 year olds relationships

[00:44:36] [SPEAKER_01]: this fair it's very fair but she's doing has her door there's something going on and I

[00:44:41] [SPEAKER_01]: feel like they're all spark I felt a spark there for sure there could just be friends but

[00:44:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I definitely felt that spark as well I think I lived it too and I find it very entertaining

[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_02]: that make it Ela's character not binary forces it in view to probably deal with the uh like

[00:44:57] [SPEAKER_02]: a conversation a lot of parents are probably having now that they didn't expect that which is

[00:45:00] [SPEAKER_02]: like I don't want to bore your room and they're like whoa they're pronouns or you know they he

[00:45:05] [SPEAKER_02]: so you know or he they or whatever the case maybe and if it'd be like okay well I don't want them

[00:45:10] [SPEAKER_02]: you know like how do I how do I paint this to where I can protect my kid but also you know make

[00:45:16] [SPEAKER_02]: sure that you know I'm being respectful of uh their pronouns right I mean that that was because

[00:45:23] [SPEAKER_01]: once Ashley said that I feel like and they didn't know how to go about it she's like okay just

[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_02]: just don't close the door right which is probably what you should be saying anyway right

[00:45:33] [SPEAKER_02]: it's all compromised yeah Ashley is no safer uh like relationship wise whether there's a girl or

[00:45:39] [SPEAKER_02]: boy in the room whoever because you know you'll know it actually likes and so to be like if it's a

[00:45:44] [SPEAKER_02]: boy you know if they're masculine presented that's a no no it's like all right maybe just leave

[00:45:49] [SPEAKER_02]: the door open as a blanket rule and then you don't have to worry about you know any uh in appropriate

[00:45:55] [SPEAKER_02]: behavior amongst the kids you know just keep it across the board even across the board I don't

[00:45:59] [SPEAKER_02]: think there's any problem yeah everything's okay yeah well that's it that's actually story

[00:46:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just kidding they put her in the episodes but it's like okay again she's very young so

[00:46:10] [SPEAKER_02]: maybe there's nothing that much to tackle yet but I think if we keep getting more and more

[00:46:15] [SPEAKER_02]: seasons the older as it gets the more mature her storylines can uh become and then maybe she can

[00:46:20] [SPEAKER_02]: fit into the the family scheme of things a little bit more yeah I definitely think that we're

[00:46:25] [SPEAKER_01]: gonna get there Debbie depends how many seasons we run of this but I definitely think

[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_02]: there's a world where we get there mm-hmm oh the other thing I wanted to flag up is about

[00:46:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Frederick I don't want to move too far away from him because I did want to ask you a question

[00:46:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I complained a little bit about the way Uncle- oh sorry were Lou in his moment where he seems like

[00:46:46] [SPEAKER_02]: him and and we're gonna be on the same page your plan basketball together now that Jeffrey has allegedly

[00:46:52] [SPEAKER_02]: cleaned up all of this Frederick nonsense we talked about if Jeffrey's out of the game now

[00:46:57] [SPEAKER_02]: he was able to pay for his freedom is maybe Frederick's safe that's cool but put it I still don't trust

[00:47:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Frederick either I just can't I can't let go of the idea that maybe there's more to Frederick than

[00:47:11] [SPEAKER_02]: he's died I mean he maybe he's just a little mischievous you know he likes to gamble but I

[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_02]: feel like they gave us enough information to believe that I don't think Frederick is as innocent as

[00:47:23] [SPEAKER_01]: painting himself to be oh I do not think that Frederick's out of the woods and super clear at this

[00:47:28] [SPEAKER_01]: point no yeah I think obviously the phone call could be to mom whatever but that moment would fit with

[00:47:36] [SPEAKER_01]: will at the benefit thing I still feel like that was not to mom yeah yeah I don't feel like it was

[00:47:44] [SPEAKER_02]: for mom and also looking at him crazy about the street racing you know that was just you know maybe

[00:47:49] [SPEAKER_02]: like I said maybe he's just a normal guy who does some some off-hand stuff you know every now and then

[00:47:55] [SPEAKER_02]: some just like back out of the bull but I think that we still can't trust him I think that he might be on

[00:48:01] [SPEAKER_02]: the inside of whatever operation from old Jeffrey or something because again I cannot separate myself

[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_02]: from the original Frederick just being garbage yeah so I I agree yeah so I want to put a pin

[00:48:16] [SPEAKER_02]: into that too because I I know we talked about whether or not Jeffrey would get out of the game

[00:48:21] [SPEAKER_02]: you know Frederick is safe but also now I remember I remind myself that I'm also watching Frederick

[00:48:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm watching a lot of people in these two episodes you know what I'm not really watching too much

[00:48:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Blacks is Blacks is again what exactly is this business plan we've seen that they have made

[00:48:40] [SPEAKER_02]: of stripes to get in endorsement from a rapper in this episode Jackie's able to help will with that

[00:48:48] [SPEAKER_02]: maneuvering we've seen that they are kind of dragging their feet on a lot of things but I don't really know

[00:48:53] [SPEAKER_02]: if this business plan is going to work out when all they've managed to do with selfie shirts and talk to a rapper

[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah I mean again this was my big issue of being in that room and hearing everyone's business

[00:49:06] [SPEAKER_01]: propositions will in Carlton's proposition is essentially we are a social media merch brand

[00:49:13] [SPEAKER_01]: like they've done nothing else get the word out spread the word out cool what else are you doing

[00:49:18] [SPEAKER_02]: like all you've done is so t-shirt so far yeah and they're taking out time out of the like

[00:49:25] [SPEAKER_02]: schedules to go do stuff that has nothing to do with Blacks is you know Carlton running around behind

[00:49:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Mira and him and will go into the beach and things like that it's like this is not going to be conducive

[00:49:36] [SPEAKER_02]: but luckily they do have a few people who are still in their corner trying to help them pull strings

[00:49:40] [SPEAKER_02]: we saw Jackie return and she confronts will about the whole situation it kind of love triangle

[00:49:47] [SPEAKER_02]: situation that she was in with will last episode when it came to Lisa because as Jackie points out

[00:49:55] [SPEAKER_02]: will never even like a college or talk to is like at one second she was doing all these nice

[00:50:00] [SPEAKER_02]: things for Lisa cuts her out and then next you know will the Lisa are off at the beach hanging out

[00:50:06] [SPEAKER_01]: nobody even checked on Jackie no no one did check on Jackie she kind of just like went

[00:50:12] [SPEAKER_02]: my her she went by the wayside to them yeah oh did you think that she had a point when charging

[00:50:18] [SPEAKER_02]: will look because I like that she went to him and said hey you could have stood up for me I'm trying

[00:50:23] [SPEAKER_02]: help you I mean she will eventually make the connection between him and the rapper by the end of

[00:50:27] [SPEAKER_01]: this episode I mean she's the yeah she is the 100% I like the the way she approached this all

[00:50:31] [SPEAKER_01]: 100% easily are we rooting for Jackie what does that mean though I mean you know we know what Jackie

[00:50:38] [SPEAKER_01]: wants oh are we keeping them no yeah so you still take Lisa yes I can't do it I can't I mean

[00:50:53] [SPEAKER_02]: built them to this point she made him she you know I hear you I hear you I just think that

[00:51:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I think that the will and Lisa thing it needs to mature a little bit more I think that right now

[00:51:06] [SPEAKER_02]: he should be kicking in with Jackie she seems to be into whatever he's into very helpful she's

[00:51:11] [SPEAKER_02]: in very nice we've seen her have his back multiple times and I don't think Lisa and will are on the

[00:51:17] [SPEAKER_02]: same page I think that they have sweet moments like they did on the beach but ultimately she's supposed

[00:51:22] [SPEAKER_02]: to be really focusing on her swimming he's supposed to be doing black said and it feels like

[00:51:27] [SPEAKER_02]: the Lisa relationship although it might be the in-game for this show I feel like maybe it's

[00:51:32] [SPEAKER_02]: for a later date I feel like he could give this Jackie thing a try boo whoo whoo

[00:51:41] [SPEAKER_02]: no they I'm just saying um to go then I think she should also get a chance you we know we

[00:51:47] [SPEAKER_02]: heard you you've been hinting at this for years you're in the pushing this she read for

[00:51:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Genesis 3 and 1 and I won't stay for it he's a one the dude just throw it up now he feels like

[00:51:56] [SPEAKER_02]: you've been doing it forever so yeah so there are some business problems over there with

[00:52:02] [SPEAKER_02]: will and Carlton also we call it uncle feel has some drama with jazz gentrification is happening

[00:52:10] [SPEAKER_02]: and uncle feel is on the wrong side of history I'm like this this is the uncle feel that I

[00:52:17] [SPEAKER_01]: said the subject matter for you if you are a menace but you're also very on the money you're not wrong

[00:52:24] [SPEAKER_01]: the pro-triest is a pool to their house yeah and j'all calm uncle feels like yeah this let

[00:52:30] [SPEAKER_01]: him do what they're doing it's cool it's fine it's fine it's just that I understand uncle feel

[00:52:35] [SPEAKER_02]: things this is another people's problem you know like he's found his business you know that he's

[00:52:39] [SPEAKER_02]: doing he's he's trying to help out do like he'll his whole construction agency and he's the legal

[00:52:45] [SPEAKER_02]: representation but what does that mean that means that when people have issues uncle feel

[00:52:50] [SPEAKER_02]: the person that they're going to and when there is an issue of making you know purchases

[00:52:55] [SPEAKER_02]: and increasing the gentrification in this area uncle feel will be the one issuing those notices

[00:53:01] [SPEAKER_02]: and so uncle feel has to go to jazz and of all people and talk about jazz's record story he

[00:53:06] [SPEAKER_02]: obviously a bunch of money to say maybe just a bow out take this cash you know the money you

[00:53:13] [SPEAKER_02]: need it for that money yeah you're a hustler and you a hustler take the money you just look at all

[00:53:18] [SPEAKER_02]: those things you can do I really love uncle feeling this episode but yeah I wasn't I wasn't a fan of

[00:53:24] [SPEAKER_02]: uncle feel helping out with the man in the gentrification well I will say when when he saw the

[00:53:29] [SPEAKER_01]: message from jazz that said not done hustling he seemed proud of him like I didn't think like you

[00:53:34] [SPEAKER_02]: know he's not full villain just yet yeah um but it's pretty close it is pretty close because

[00:53:40] [SPEAKER_02]: at some point uncle feel has cut off Erica completely allegedly and so he doesn't have a lot of

[00:53:46] [SPEAKER_02]: other avenues to go when trying to keep his new industry alive his new business alive and so

[00:53:51] [SPEAKER_02]: he's got a really lean into this gentrification whole storyline when it comes to you know being

[00:53:57] [SPEAKER_02]: successful and being able to provide for his family so now he's looking at taking something out of

[00:54:01] [SPEAKER_02]: the community that a lot of people respect if we find out in this episode that jazz is well respected

[00:54:05] [SPEAKER_02]: in community for being a business owner and owning one of the longest standing businesses in

[00:54:11] [SPEAKER_02]: so now Uncle feel has no choice but to do his job and that is to try to increase this construction

[00:54:17] [SPEAKER_02]: territory purchasing up these land and these spaces to add onto this development that is now coming

[00:54:24] [SPEAKER_02]: and so we know that he would come you know and end up at odds with jazz but we haven't seen the

[00:54:30] [SPEAKER_02]: rest of the family find out and I don't think they're going to be happy about this for you.

[00:54:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean definitely not if there's going to be another in-house feud it's going to be the world

[00:54:38] [SPEAKER_01]: against Uncle feel the house against Uncle feel for sure.

[00:54:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Because Ashley's got her whole dark and broody you know teenager my life is awful you know

[00:54:48] [SPEAKER_02]: whatever she's got that going on Hillary who we know is getting married to the market

[00:54:53] [SPEAKER_02]: doesn't actually seem like she's that far or removed from the jazz situation will love jazz as well

[00:55:01] [SPEAKER_02]: and you know things just haven't been the best with and feel right now anyway so I think you're right

[00:55:07] [SPEAKER_02]: I think that they about to jump they about to jump Uncle feel and uh he's not going to be

[00:55:13] [SPEAKER_02]: able he's not going to come out of this one and skate the family members are coming for him when

[00:55:16] [SPEAKER_02]: they find out he's about to try to buy up jazz as a place easily you know here I'm ready for the new

[00:55:23] [SPEAKER_01]: drama I'm rockin' a line very okay to see where that takes us yeah because we're about halfway through

[00:55:28] [SPEAKER_02]: and we've done a lot of building I guess in this season till what could come next we finally hit

[00:55:33] [SPEAKER_02]: moment where I think we're about to go off the cliff when it comes to this carleton in the mirror

[00:55:37] [SPEAKER_02]: situation I think the wheel situation I feel like there's four more episodes of drama that can be built

[00:55:42] [SPEAKER_02]: now that we've kind of handled the loose situation in a way you know like the the the

[00:55:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Lou vibe will like that's kind of in a bubble and I think that the basketball storyline is about to

[00:55:53] [SPEAKER_02]: be like take off right now the wheeling won't they with the basketball on the business side um so

[00:55:58] [SPEAKER_02]: like we're right there for that I feel like with Hillary Lamarcus we haven't really discussed

[00:56:04] [SPEAKER_02]: his football plans at this point we know Hillary's still trying to fake it like it's like it's all good

[00:56:09] [SPEAKER_02]: but I feel like right now we're on the downside of the season we're about to go down the slope all

[00:56:15] [SPEAKER_02]: way down to the finale and we have a lot of potential drama that could be coming forward and I'm

[00:56:20] [SPEAKER_01]: excited to see it I can't wait I can't I'm telling you like one of the things one of the there's a

[00:56:26] [SPEAKER_01]: good reason why I do the podcast number one it's talked you weekly which is great number two

[00:56:31] [SPEAKER_01]: we love talking about Bella number three is once we're done I can watch the next two episodes and

[00:56:39] [SPEAKER_01]: that night because I don't want to watch ahead obviously so that is another nice bit of appeal

[00:56:44] [SPEAKER_02]: to all of this as well yeah we got a few more episodes to watch episode seven and eight should

[00:56:50] [SPEAKER_02]: be available on Peacock by the time you hear this and we'll be trying to get nine and 10 out

[00:56:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess that'll probably be dropped as a pair that'll be our finale podcast and then we'll be

[00:57:01] [SPEAKER_02]: waiting for season four even just saying and now I'm already getting annoyed because who knows

[00:57:07] [SPEAKER_02]: when they're gonna bring this back for season four we might have the way two years nope

[00:57:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I've decided they're not allowed to do that nope yeah I don't know I don't know

[00:57:16] [SPEAKER_02]: just for a minute we were going with every February or so we were getting another season which

[00:57:21] [SPEAKER_02]: first season second season and then it's been over year I mean that there was a writer strike

[00:57:25] [SPEAKER_02]: somewhere in there too but it's been over a year and some change since the last one yeah no

[00:57:31] [SPEAKER_01]: the I feel it and you know we've definitely vented about this offline on other podcasts about

[00:57:36] [SPEAKER_01]: the way the production world works for TV now and the all right you enjoyed that all right see

[00:57:42] [SPEAKER_01]: two years before you see the next one we've waited way too long for these shows I hope it's not

[00:57:48] [SPEAKER_01]: more than a year and based on the pacing of the release here I have to assume they've got something

[00:57:53] [SPEAKER_01]: cooking already because otherwise why do you want to zoom past so quickly yeah we shall see

[00:57:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I think we we're gonna have to wait a little bit of time at least but we still got a couple more

[00:58:03] [SPEAKER_02]: of these podcasts and episodes to drop so again thank you all for listening thank y'all for
