[00:00:21] Hey, what's up fam and welcome back again to the Rock of Love Kickback here on RecapKickback.com. It's me, Chappelle, back again to talk to you about another episode of Rock of Love here live on YouTube. And with me, enjoying the Flavor of Love cinematic universe for the very first time, including this episode of Rock of Love. It's Chantel Francis. Chantel, welcome back.

[00:00:44] Thanks for having me, of course. Always a good time. Always a good show or an episode to talk about. Yeah, like I'm loving my journey. So lucky. I'm really enjoying this as well. I mean, we've said it a million times, but I do think the people who've been keeping going on our rewatch from day one, they really enjoyed it. I know that we've had like you can tell where some people like we're only like Flavor of Love purists.

[00:01:10] They, you know, they've seen all Flavor of Love. We've seen like the views fluctuate, right? So Rock of Love is kind of a little bit more niched in Flavor of Love. Flavor of Love was massively famous. But to me, you really don't appreciate all of it unless you've watched all of it. It's like the MCU, Chantel. You've got to have all the pieces for you to really understand the end game. Well, absolutely. And some people want to know, like, why don't I watch like Marvel movies and whatnot? I'm like, because I don't know what, like there's too many of them. I need to have seen them all.

[00:01:39] And like, I need to know the order and I need to watch them in order. And like, that just seems like a big undertaking. But this is an undertaking that I'm enjoying. I want to be well-versed in this universe. And the fact that I don't even really know where we're going and the final boss and what's going to happen in the end. Like, it's pretty exciting, I'd have to say. Yes, no, we are definitely leading up to something. And so for the people who are in our comments and of course the people watching us live, thank y'all for joining us every week.

[00:02:08] If you can't join us, it's okay. We're doing this again next week. And until we get to a certain point in this VH1 world, just Kelly 1960 calling it a labor of love. Yeah, the flavor of love, it's become a labor of love. I do like that. Yeah. And this universe does run deeper than Game of Thrones. Yeah, there are a lot of moving pieces here. And so we do need to talk about them. But Chantel, one thing that I've been pleasantly surprised at is how much social maneuvering is in this season.

[00:02:36] I feel like in the past, it was like, yeah, we're trying to compete for their love. But now with Lacey and Heather, it's almost like they're playing Big Brother or Survivor or something like that. Because they're like, I have targets, I have a hit list, and we have to start setting things up. We got a note in this episode, Chantel. There was so much. Yeah, we have a final two. They're an alliance. You think they're going to name their alliance or have they? I mean...

[00:03:04] They do kind of name them. They have several different alliances. I think at one point Heather calls her and Lacey the most notorious two women in the house. Notorious is wild. That's a wild descriptor for two women on a dating show. I mean, Notorious too, though. That's a great alliance name. It really is. Yeah, I think they were on the Fallen Angels team. At one point, they were the... I don't know if they were the badasses. I forget what their original name was. Oh, the A-Team. Remember the A-Team? That was a thing.

[00:03:32] So yeah, we've really seen this become more of a competition than just a love show. Now, I mean, I'm sure we're going to get into it, but I am curious about the surreal life portion of it, right? Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

[00:03:59] Because like... And Janice Dickinson was on that one too, or is that another season? And Trishel? It's a different season, I think. But yes, I think Trishel was on a different season as well. Let me look that up because we got a little time. I wanted to look it up, but I knew that I would get in trouble. That is very good of you. So there were six seasons of the surreal life. Okay. And the first season is famously Emmanuel Lewis, Jerry Manthe on there from Survivor, MC Hammer.

[00:04:29] And so that's where we're starting to just like kind of kick it off. Season two, we have Trishel and Vanilla Ice. And this is the season that we kind of gloss over a little bit in this episode. Now, was she on it or was she dancing and they went to like her club? Like how... I just didn't understand. Was she like... Yeah.

[00:04:52] So she made a brief appearance on the Surreal Life fame games in 2007, if I'm not mistaken, because that's a spinoff of the Surreal Life. And so she made a brief appearance on there, I think as a dancer. And so in that time, her and Vanilla Ice got close. I haven't watched that episode in probably... Probably since 2007, honestly. And so I really don't... I couldn't tell you off the top of my head Heather's role in there.

[00:05:21] But I was definitely kind of surprised to see that it came up in this conversation, because I don't remember this storyline being a part of her story in Rock of Love. Yeah. I was like, wait, wait, what? Well, I just had to throw it in there. Speaking of Vanilla Ice, he lived on my friend's street growing up, right? Because Vanilla Ice is the one that was from Canada. Yeah. If I'm not mistaken. Who was the other white guy rapper at that time? Snow was from... Maybe it was Snow. Maybe it was Snow. Snow was from Canada. Performer.

[00:05:51] For sure. Yeah. Maybe I just think that they're the same person. Snow, it might have been Snow that lived on my friend's street. Yeah. Same Vanilla Ice is from Dallas. It's Snow. It's Snow. Yeah. Same thing, different font, right? Same thing, different font, right? I was very surprised to see that Vanilla Ice name was uttered here. But it is cool to me that we kind of come full circle. Because remember, we don't have Flavor of Love without the Surreal Life.

[00:06:20] You know, as we talked about it before. But the Surreal Life is basically a spinoff of Strange Love. I mean, sorry, not the Surreal Life. Flavor of Love is a spinoff of Strange Love that came from the Surreal Life originally. So Flavor of Flav and Brigitte meet on the Surreal Life. They get their own show, Strange Love. And then that careens into Flavor of Love. And then Flavor of Love gives us all of New York. Yeah, I love New York. Gives us charm school. And all of that. We're here.

[00:06:49] We're here. And so we got a lot. Do I need to watch these prequels, basically? That's a lot to watch for the Surreal Life. I don't think so. Not for this story, at least. Because this story definitely is the Flav story, but extended now. But no. But if we, I mean, we got probably a few more months of doing this type of thing. And if you're looking for something else to talk about, you know, I'm always down to do a little something with you. I'm not taking it on yet, because I know we have a while to go in this journey.

[00:07:20] But just, like, thinking of, like, you know, my history, like, I'm just worried that I need to know more, you know? But I trust you, though. Yeah, yeah. If there was something glaring that I thought you had to know, I would definitely be putting that on our reality show org chart, Kelly. And so, yeah. But we'll talk about all that. And then, yeah, maybe, you know how we did bonus material last time with the Tyra Banks stuff.

[00:07:45] Maybe at the end of this season, if it's important, we might go and look at that episode where Heather appears on the Surreal Life fame games. Okay, yeah. One episode I could deal with for sure. Yeah. If it's relevant. Again, it might not even be a thing that we need to talk about. But I can't tell you that just now, because we have an episode to talk about. Episode five is Brett's first annual Mud Bowl. And so, in order to get there, we really have to start at the end of last episode, which was the hangover.

[00:08:14] Brett did a toast last episode with bottles of water. He's like, hey, maybe let's slow down a little bit. It's been getting kind of wild in this house. And the only person who really echoes his sentiments are Brandy M, because she did not slow down that night. Brett goes to sleep, and she parties like a rock star. And the next day, she's hungover. Now, Chantel, I had this in my notes. You know this question is coming. You ever had a bad hangover? I've definitely had a bad hangover. It's really annoying.

[00:08:41] As you get older, they get a lot worse. I remember I was always like a trooper. Like, you know, no matter what I did the night before, I was up at 7 a.m. You know, I was like, easy peasy. Now, I definitely have had a bad hangover. Where you don't want to get out of bed. You're like, you know, drops of water. All you can standle is like a drop at a time.

[00:09:12] Because too much might make you nauseous. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not a fan of a hangover. Our party style, you and I, is very similar. I'd say that probably, if you've been listening to this since the very beginning, you've heard Chantel and I both podcast hungover at one point or another. And I can't say that about every podcast I've ever done. But with Chantel, I know for a fact that one of us has shown up hungover at least once since we started this journey. Probably more than once.

[00:09:41] And so, um... Oh, Sunday school. What's Sunday school without a little bit of a hangover, right? What's Sunday school without a hangover? Now, that's definitely something I'm familiar with. Hungover at church at Sunday school. Been there, done that. Got the t-shirt. Super pro. But you're right. The older you get, it just don't hit the same. And so I'm not surprised that Brett needs to take the night off. But, um... Brandy M, she's a soldier. She's like, I'm hungover, but I'm still going to fight back. And so in order to get into this challenge, it is going to be a football-related challenge.

[00:10:11] And this is bad for Brandy M, right? Like, I think the last thing you want to do, Chantel, when you're hungover, is go out and run and jump in the heat and be dirty and sweaty. I would have died. Well, the one good thing about that, though, is, like, sweating it out. So it is helpful sometimes. Like, it might feel terrible, but it could help you recover a little more quickly than just, like, laying in sorrow.

[00:10:39] So I wouldn't want to have to do it, but it probably was good for her hangover a little bit. Yeah, but I know it felt like hell. Especially the hangover that kind of give you the sweats where you're, like, all hot and just, like, ugh, your head is throbbing. Yeah, it could be bad. I wish this on my worst enemy. Maybe it may be my worst enemy, but yeah. Who's your worst enemy? I can't tell you off the top of my head, but I think I either, like, love people or I'm, like, indifferent to them.

[00:11:07] And then there's, like, a few people that I probably dislike the most that I just don't think about. Like, I've blocked them out. So whoever you are, you can have a hangover today. I don't care. So the two teams that we have here for the football are the Mud Bowl. The Sweethearts, consisting of Wild Thing, aka Brandy M., Jess, Magdalena, and Mia.

[00:11:33] So immediately, Brandy M. says she's concerned because Magdalena doesn't know anything about football. She's not from the States. Chantel, as our resident Mrs. International, what are your thoughts about American football? Hmm. I don't really know it very well. So because I was able to be a dance major, I could use my dance classes as my physical education.

[00:12:01] So as soon as I could stop taking, like, doing sports and playing sports, I kind of did. So I don't really know the rules of football in general. Canadian football, I think, is a little bit different as well. Um, I've seen a few of those games, to be fair, just because one of the places I used to work, the Alouettes, used to come. Um, and so I think I showed you that I touched the Grey Cup before. Yeah. I got the Grey Cup.

[00:12:29] So, like, I've gone to those games because, like, you get free tickets. Um, and I was a Bud Bus girl, uh, at one point. And so basically you would lead, like, a, like, a, like, a tour bus group of guys usually to, we went to Buffalo and we'd watch a game. And, like, I was just, like, just kind of cheerleading on the side. Like, I didn't really watch the game. I was just kind of like, hey, let's have some Budweiser. Yeah.

[00:12:55] Like, you know, but yeah, that's the closest I've really been to a game with my back to the whole stadium or whatever. Football is my favorite sport. This is, this is my jam. I love it so much. Favorite sport. Number one. Cannot wait for the NFL. Yeah. Very American. But I cannot wait for the NFL every time. Like, I, and I, I can watch college football. It's fine. But for me, NFL football is where it's at. I've, I've boycotted seasons before for political reasons, but the moment that boycotts are done

[00:13:25] or people stop boycotting, or I feel like I've done it long enough, I always come back to my first love, which is football. So I understand. So you really enjoyed this challenge then? I, I, we have things to talk about in the challenge for sure. I'll put it like that. Um, also the other team, the fallen angels led by the most notorious pair in rock of love history, Heather and Lacey. Uh, they also have Aaron who cannot see past her big ass boobs and Sam, who is an emotional wreck. Those are Heather's words. Not mine.

[00:13:56] Every time though, I see her boobs. I'm like, she does have some big boobs. They're nice. They're nice. I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna, uh, complain too much. Uh, but I do like, I enjoy that this level of body shaming is just like, your boobs are big, you know? Like it could, I feel like they, people said way worse things about people on reality. Now circus fun bags is not, you know, probably the most elegant way of putting this, but yeah, Aaron's, uh, she got some personality up there.

[00:14:27] It definitely got some big personality. I wonder if she still has her boobs at that size or if she's gotten like a reduction since then. I would wonder that as well, just because, you know, we find out later on that, you know, in life that people, people find this very uncomfortable. And a lot of people are like, I guess later in life start to get reductions. You know, I think we, they went the opposite direction for a while. And then now people are like, all right, let's do something healthy. You know, that can be healthy for us. It's cosmetic as well.

[00:14:54] But also I think getting some of that weight off your chest is, you know, for lack of a better term, can't hurt. Um, so funny pun actually. Thank you. I came up with that one on my own. So, um, they go to Brett's mud bowl and this is Jess's moment to shine. Okay. We've seen Jess throughout the season and she's had moments, right? She's like, okay. Um, she's not really one of the party girls. She's gotten, um, pushed in the pool by Lacey.

[00:15:24] You know, Jess has had some ups and downs this season, but she says this is athletic. It's not about phone sex. It's not about moaning into the, uh, into a recording device. This is her getting to be athletic and she is going to be the MVP of this because the, whoever is the MVP will get a one-on-one date with Brett. And so the field is muddy. It's wet. It's nasty. Chantel, how would you feel if this was on a challenge you were going to do on a dating show?

[00:15:53] You saw my eye roll, right? Yeah. Bombastic eye roll. I wouldn't. Not enjoy this date. I mean, I'd probably still play to win, but I wouldn't really enjoy it. You know what I mean? You watched the challenge. This felt very, the challenge coded because they're always running into a mud pit, grabbing a ball, knocking each other over it and trying to run out. Yes. That's it. I think there's going to be like next episode. That's going to be. Okay. Yeah.

[00:16:23] Uh, it might be, I know it's coming up sometime in the season. Um, yeah. Uh, I, I, I don't know. Is this the way to win his heart? Like he says he loves a girl. He wants a girl who loves football. Um, personally as a, as a man who loves football, I don't need, I don't need my girl to love football. You know, like she can do whatever she wants. Uh, it's not really like, I've always, I think I've talked about, talked to you about this before, but we don't have to have extreme shared interest. We obviously have to get along and be compatible.

[00:16:52] But as far as like, if you like a thing, you go watch your thing, go do your thing, go read your book, go do whatever you want. And then I can go do my thing. And then we can come together and do different things, but we don't have to do those things together. But Brett wants somebody who can watch football with him. Now, one thing I can get behind though, is like, you know, at the super bowl and stuff like that, playing squares and you know, when there's some stakes and me, it helps me enjoy things a little bit more.

[00:17:18] So if, I mean, I guess the gamble and the stakes here are to win the MVP to win the date, but like there needs to be a little bit more on the line and then I can maybe get a little more into it. I'm sorry. Brett's heart wouldn't be enough for me. It's probably not enough for you. No. And then it's not even that he wants somebody who watches football, but these girls have to play football. And I thought maybe they're going to do flag football or something like that. No, they get in their little football uniform type things, not pads or anything like that.

[00:17:48] And they're running, they're throwing the ball, they're in the mud, Brett's the quarterback the whole time. And it gets a little, it gets a little high contact. You know, I really wasn't expecting the tackling and stuff to be so strong, Jantel, but once Jess is activated, yeah, they have to start tackling because she's going to run over all of them. She's so good at this. Yeah. We didn't get to re-look back at Lacey's ankle. Like, did she?

[00:18:17] I thought she broke her ankle. No, but like, it wasn't like wrapped or anything. Like, and she was at the ceremony and stuff like that, right? Oh, she limped at that ceremony. She hobbled on down to Brett. Okay, I didn't notice. So to set this up for the people who haven't seen this or haven't watched it in a long time, Lacey, well, Jess is running circles around everybody. Magdalena knows nothing about football. Brandy M, of course, is hungover. And everybody's kind of letting Brett down, but not Jess.

[00:18:45] She's showing up, showing out, scoring touchdowns. He says, Jess scoring that touchdown was one of the sexiest moments in football ever. However, now, in football, for me, most moments are very unsexy. And so I think this was a low bar to clear. But eventually, Lacey decides she needs to step it up. And we know Lacey. She's not exactly a rule follower. She starts doing the tackling. She's getting hardcore and tackling.

[00:19:14] And she's got targets. You know, she's been trying to take people out of the game this whole time. But Jess will not be one of those people. So Jess tackles Lacey. And Lacey goes down. And they put that sound effect on top of it. But that crack, I thought Lacey broke her leg, her ankle, or something like that. She gets a really bad injury. And it's really hard to feel bad for Lacey with how she be acting with other people. I don't feel bad for her.

[00:19:44] I feel like, I mean, I don't want anybody to get hurt, obviously. But, like, a lot of other people would be like, oh, my God. And her, I'm just like, oh, that sucks. You know? Sorry. I think there was a couple of other women who said the same thing. I think it was Sam who was like, yes. I mean, oh, sorry. My bad. Then Jess says, Lacey got what she deserved for pushing her in the pool. I had forgotten that that was who that initial attacker was from Lacey.

[00:20:14] And so, I don't know. Do you feel like Jess did this on purpose? No. I don't think she did it on purpose. But I think to make herself feel better about it, she was like, well, you know, she got me first. Now, I got her back. Yeah. I thought the Lacey tackle was out of bounds. You know? It was pretty bad in the pool. You know? You could have really hurt her. She could have drowned. You don't know her swimming ability or whatever the case may be. But here, all bets are off. Tackling is completely above board. And so, Lacey ends up getting hurt here.

[00:20:43] And they have to pick somebody to sit out because the teams are now uneven. Brandi M has chosen to sit out because she's hungover and she was doing really badly. But now she can't go on the date either. So, she'll get, if anything, the group date but not the MVP date. Jess is still showing up and showing out on the field. Brett says a savage beast came out of her. And she's running away with this MVP race. But not once Heather gets involved.

[00:21:13] I think I've always liked Heather as a character. But I think just looking back now, like with my mature eyes, she's TV gold. Like, Lacey has almost like one note. Like, she's just like a pure villain. Heather gives us so many layers. For her to be like what, I think now the oldest person in the house with rodeo going, you wouldn't know it with how interactive she is with competing,

[00:21:38] with the emotional side of this game, with targeting the other women. She's doing it all. She's giving us drama and stories. I mean, I think it's because, well, if she's been on Surreal Life already, like she kind of knows a little bit of like the reality game. And I think she knows that she could, like she's a front runner. And so, I don't know, I think she's a good reality TV casting choice.

[00:22:07] And I still think she's going to win the show. Yeah, this was in the early 2000s. But I just feel like if they want, if we could get Heather back on TV, I don't think she could miss on any show. You know, I think that she's suited. She's very big brother. Like I can see her big brother for sure. Which is funny. Very big brother. Big brother, right, exactly. But this would have made her, she's almost 50, I think, at this point. But, you know, 50-year-olds play big brother.

[00:22:37] I couldn't see her on something like The Challenge or anything like that. But, you know, there are other reality shows, The Traitors. The Traitors. You know, I don't know if she gets big enough to get to the stars. For some reason, I could see her on The Apprentice. Like, I don't know. I feel like, I don't know. Maybe she does do other shows or stuff like that because she does seem familiar to me. And she's good at being a reality TV star. Yeah, she's really good. She's really good. HoneyKid says, catching you on my cruise in the Mediterranean.

[00:23:07] We just left. Okay, look. We're out here in France. Okay. Thank you. Thank you so much for joining us, even on your cruise. Now, yeah, Heather is selling real estate in LA currently, according to Lacey Mack in the chat. Selling Sunset. Can we get Heather on something like that? I mean, that would be very good. Get her in that Oppenheim group and she would be definitely a villain. Like, oh my God, she would be great. Yeah.

[00:23:37] I was just so impressed with her. Not so much like I'm rooting for Heather specifically. But, you know, in a reality TV person, you want somebody who's going to fight. You want somebody who's going to be there for the right reasons. But also, you're going to want somebody who's messy. And she's everything, right? She's a fun character, but she's also a mess. And so, yeah, seeing her kind of come alive. And willing to strategize. She does it all. Yeah. She's not going to be on one of these shows like, oh, I'll just get voted out. Like, nah, she's going to go balls to the wall every time. And she almost wins MVP here.

[00:24:07] But it's ultimately Jess who ends up taking the W. And, you know, I thought this was a good moment for Jess for sure. Because I think she was kind of falling into the background a little bit, Chantel, prior to this episode. Yeah. Well, kind of everybody was a little bit. Like, I still don't really know who Mia is. I'm always like, who's that again? Like, I'm surprised by her every single time. Magdalena, okay. Like, we do know, I know who she is, whatever.

[00:24:37] But I do not see her with Brett. Jess, I can see with Brett. Like, she's very pretty. And she is the rocker girl. So, I can actually see them together. So, she's probably going to make it to the final three. So, the final three right now, I have Lacey, Jess, and what's her name? Heather. Okay. So, Heather is not happy that she lost this challenge. She says, I'm so fucking pissed right now. I cannot fucking handle this shit.

[00:25:05] We fucking lost you stupid fucking bitches. Fuck. She said she can lay down an F-bomb. She can't. We need... Okay. Look, we need her back. We need her back now. I've sat with it long enough. We just don't have enough Heathers on TV currently. You know, if she was younger, I'd say even the challenge would be something that you could see. I could see her, like, at this time being on the challenge. Because, like, it would be... I mean, she'd be a little bit too old.

[00:25:33] She'd be, like, Beth Sage, actually. Right, right. And they acted like Beth was ancient whenever she was in the show. She was not that old. But they were like, oh, yeah. And Beth's 100 years old. So, yeah. I could see that. I think she's... I think Beth was about the same age. Oh, probably. Yeah. Yeah. Probably. Yeah. Because it's 2007. So, yeah. And so, Beth, I think now it's, like, 52 or something. So, yeah. Heather... I think we missed out on a lot more Heather TV, for sure.

[00:26:03] Because I think, looking back now, I don't think we knew what we had back then. So... But you know what, though? Before, she would have had to have been on either The Real World or Road Rules. Because before, like, that's only places where they fuddled through people on the challenge. So, that would have been fun as well, seeing her on either of those shows. Yeah. I think she's... Yeah. I think she's, like, a very inspired pick, for sure. Right? Like, whether or not...

[00:26:31] And honestly, Chantel, I think this is 2007. That might be after Fresh Meat. So, she could have just come on as Fresh Meat. Oh. Mm-hmm. Yeah. So, anyway. I'm sure we'll have more to talk about with Heather after this. The Sweethearts do get the trophy. And Jess gets the MVP jacket from Brett. And she's going to be able to go on that one-on-one day. He says she's young and beautiful. And they have no connection yet. But by the end of this episode, they really will connect, you know, later on.

[00:26:59] When they get home, though, they're exhausted. Lacey can't walk. And she says, okay. Well, if I can't win any of these challenges, I gotta start knocking these other girls out of this. And so, we see the Jess date and what happens here. She's escorted by Big John. Takes her all the way off to her date. Whisk's her away. And when she gets there, Brett Michaels is up there with his guitar. She's all prettied up. And he's singing to her and kind of talking. She gets like a solo concert, Chantel.

[00:27:29] I mean, if you're into him and his music, I guess you'd like this. But, like, I hate to serenade. You love being serenaded. You love being serenaded. You love it. It's your favorite thing. You love it. I don't like it. I just would feel so uncomfortable. I don't think I would ever want a private concert from it. Like, ever. I forgot they called her clavicle jazz. Yeah.

[00:27:55] If I walked into my date and he's, like, playing the guitar, I would probably roll my eyes. Really? See, I think that there might be a threshold for talent, right? So it's like, yeah, if someone is singing average to you, but if you walk in and it's like Usher serenading you, it's like, that's Usher. Well, Usher would be, like, dancing and, like, you know, maybe. He'd be into it. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. Maybe I'm just, like, into a rock serenade. Maybe. Maybe.

[00:28:25] I wonder if we can find somebody who you'd be okay with getting serenaded with. Like, what if Flavor Flav was serenading you? You're warm on Flavor Flav. Look at you. You're like, I'll take it. That was not an I'll take it face. That was a, excuse me. You were like, I'd laugh. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I would like. Would you stop Flavor Flav from singing for you? You'd be like, Flav, stop. I would, no, I would be, like, laughing. I'd be like, oh, my God, stop. Be like, shut up.

[00:28:57] No. Yeah, boy. No. I mean, I'd rather a flash mob over a serenade, you know? Oh, my God. Yeah. Both of those things are going to make me very uncomfortable. So she's never heard him sing before. You know, Jess's thing is that she's not actually familiar with Brad's music. And so she's been enjoying his charm and, I guess, his looks this entire time. But now she sees his talent as well. And from there, they start to talk. They're opening up, talking about love.

[00:29:25] He's talking about how he's written some of his more famous songs. She's talking about how she's never really been in love. I did not realize she was only 23. They're all babies, except for, like, brother. These are babies. Yeah. These are babies. Like, 23 is so young. That's, like, isn't that, like, Drew's age on Big Brother? Or is he 22? I think he's 22. I think he's 22. But the same thing sticks, right? Like, they're babies. When someone at 23 says they've never been in love, you're like, yeah. Because you have tons of time. Yeah.

[00:29:54] It's like, you just got out of school, probably. Right. If you want. Why did you want to be in love so bad? You know what I'm saying? Like, get me wrong. If you find you, fine. But, like, there's nothing to be stressed about, you know? Yeah. 23? Yeah. Yeah. But, like, also, though, like, to be with Brett, like, he's literally twice her age. You know? Yeah. Lacey asks, isn't that the same age New York was on Flavor of Love? And I believe so. That's also crazy to me, though.

[00:30:24] Like, I just don't understand her. That's her 23? That's crazy. Yeah. Oh, let me see. Let me make sure. Mm-hmm. Because I think, uh, I think that a lot of them just come in so young. Um, and then they come on here and they meet these older guys who are just, like, they're famous. So there's a lot of allure. Chantel, do you know, do you feel like it's love?

[00:30:53] Or is it, like, I don't know, lust is the right thing. Maybe admiration is that they're attracted to. Because she, New York told us, like, what, episode two of Flavor of Love that she was in love with that man and ready to marry him and have his kid. Well, maybe not have his kids. But ready to marry him. Well, I think it's also, like, an extreme circumstance. I think I've mentioned this before, where it's, like, you, like, are in this, it's a pressure cooker. And, like, you know, time kind of is expedited a little bit.

[00:31:23] Because, like, you're not, you're seeing with the same people, you're in the same house. Like, you're seeing this man, maybe not that often, but it's more concentrated. And I think because there's just so much going on, I think that you develop feelings faster. Or, like, I don't know if it's exactly love, but it's a strong feeling that's developed more easily, I would say. So I don't know if it's actually love, but I definitely think it's a very strong feeling that you could mistake for love.

[00:31:51] What did you think about the date between Brett and Jess overall? I mean, I do think that they, their kiss, they kiss pretty well together. Like, I didn't get the it from the kiss. So I would say that they have some chemistry. Even Jess said that she had some, they had chemistry. And so, like, she's happy that the physical connection is there for them at this point. So I would say this really helped her, her, like, game to potentially win. Yeah.

[00:32:21] Some people just fall in love quickly. Like, Mr. Roy Boyd points out, lyric in Rome, two days, and they were in it. So that pressure cooker will do it to you more times than not, probably. There's some drama back at the house, Chantel. Erin is on her phone with her boss because her boss says, hey, you'll never believe what happened. This week, we have a reservation. This person's coming in. They need a server. It would have been your section. It's Justin Timberlake. And Erin's freaking out, like, oh, my God, I could have been there to see Justin Timberlake.

[00:32:51] I could have been his server. Oh, my God, this is so cool. Lacey hears this. And she tells Heather. And they decide that Erin is definitely their next target. They're already collecting dirt on her anyway. And we find out that Heather is already working on a letter to Brett where she's just compiling information about all the rest of the girls to hand him so that I guess it'll make her and Lacey feel a lot better. Chantel, you've done a lot of serving before.

[00:33:20] You know, you work as a waitress. And do you ever get, like, a big client where you're like, oh, I got to be at work that day? I mean, I've been at work where, like, Michael Douglas has come into the restaurant. I wasn't there this particular day, but Madonna came to one of the restaurants that I worked at. I wasn't working that day, unfortunately. But I did hear Madonna was there. It's called Time Cafe in Montreal.

[00:33:53] What's his name? Gordon Ramsay. Ooh. Like, sometimes it's not when I'm working, but places that I've worked at, like, they've come in before. So I would say, yes. Like, even at my best friend's restaurant now, a lot of celebrities do come in. And my friend Clara, she directs, or like, she's sorry, I don't direct. Well, she has directed an episode, but she's the showrunner for Office Movers.

[00:34:21] And so she actually directed an episode with Drake. And so Drake sometimes is, like, around, you know? So I don't know. I'd say yes. But have I told you this story before? I must have. But I'll tell you it again. Um, so when I was about 12 or so, one of my really good friends, me and her, were going to do Star Search. I told you this, right? Yes. Now it's the story? But did I tell you the whole thing? It depends on where you're going. Okay.

[00:34:51] Well, anyways, we were planning on going on Star Search. And she ends up getting a gig for the Mickey Mouse Club. And so she leaves and she goes, lives in, I think it was in Orlando at the time. But she has her bat mitzvah. And at her bat mitzvah, I was invited. And she had invited all of her friends to the Mickey Mouse Club. So I have danced with Justin Timberlake on her dance floor and also JC Shassa. So I, too, have, you know, met Mr. Timberlake. Okay. Okay. I forgot.

[00:35:21] Now, Chantel, knowing this, knowing what your experience and your background, do you feel like this is a red flag? Because Lacey and Heather are like, oh, that's it. Nailed in the coffin. This lady's a star fucker. Star fuckers. It's funny. No, I have friends that were star fuckers. So, like, it's true. I think it could be a red flag.

[00:35:50] Like, I probably would let her have this conversation with her boss. And I probably wouldn't run it back to Brett. But they're looking for anything, right? But I do think that she might be a star fucker. So. Yeah, maybe. Maybe you're not wrong. I just don't know if I would take that information. They were ready to do whatever they could take. You know, they've been sick of Erin for a long time. I think she was probably enemy number one around episode one or two. Her and Jess, honestly. And so I think it was just a matter of time before they got to her.

[00:36:18] Where, you know, Lacey's hit list has just been going one by one by one. Dallas, you know, being one of those victims, too. So this is another one that they're coming after. Brett wakes up the next day after his date. And he sees the letter from Heather. Not the leather from leather. And it pissed him off. He starts spiraling, Chantel. He goes to her. And he's just like, and then now I find out that you want to go out here with Justin Timberlake. And you want to go do this? You want to do that? Blah, blah. And Heather's like, yep. I know I'm safe this week.

[00:36:48] Like, Aaron's going home and there's nothing they can do about it. I did think that, like, I got slightly duped. Because I thought that he might have been, like, mad at her being a snitch. But then we obviously realized that, no, he's mad at the information that he received. I think that he's, like, realizing, like, oh, like, I am an older man. And, like, Justin Timberlake is around her age.

[00:37:17] And would be somebody that would be more in line with who she should be dating, potentially. And so that's probably why he's freaking out a little bit. Because, like, yes, he's a rock star. But, like, I don't know. Justin Timberlake has a little more swag and star power and youth. At the time, for sure. Right? At the time, for sure. Justin Timberlake is definitely probably a hotter commodity and celebrity world, you know, than Brett. But Brett's like, listen, he's a legend.

[00:37:47] And so he's not. He doesn't want to entertain anybody who doesn't want to be serious about him. So he's, yeah, he's out. And you know how you know he's mad about this? When he goes on the next date with those girls that won the football game, he's talking to them about it. He's like, can you get a load of this? Did you hear about Aaron and Justin Timberlake? Are you crazy? Like, did you? And the girls are like, yeah, you know, I heard all about it. You know, like, he is so upset. He says Aaron's trying to make him a notch in her bedpost. But he's the one who makes notches around here, not the other way around. Okay.

[00:38:16] Do you have notches, Chappelle? Notching a bedpost sounds so impersonal. You know? Like, really? That what we're doing? We're doing just notches in bedposts? I don't know. I wouldn't call it that. Like, did guys used to do that, though, back in the day? Like, actually? I don't really know. I don't think so. Like, at least not my age, okay? Like, I think it's more like, I always thought it was a, just a turn of phrase. You know, I didn't think people actually put notches in bedposts.

[00:38:47] I think they might put notches on bedposts. That's actually crazy. That's actually crazy. That's really crazy. Carving it in the side of a tree. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. I always just thought this was a random phrase. It's just kind of, you know, a little bit. I don't know. I'm looking this up on the internet. And cultural history says the gunfighter myth.

[00:39:16] Old stories and Western movies show outlaws carving notches on gun grips to count their victims. And so maybe that's like a, I don't know, a myth that people say, okay, well, this is like you counting your victims. I just don't like, I don't like the nomenclature. Yeah. No, it's kind of gross. Yeah. It's like, eh, whatever. But yeah, but Brett said, I'm a rock star. You can't out rock star me. And so he's not okay with this. He takes these women to the gun range.

[00:39:44] You got Magdalena, Brandy M and Mia, who we still don't know anything about. We learned today that this is her first gun range experience. It seems like it was fine. Brandy M gets her main target when shooting the gun. But Magdalena was a pro. She shoots every target. And I don't think she misses one. She says like, I really didn't feel comfortable with the gun range. Cause I'm afraid I was going to kill something. And by the time I finished watching her shoot, I too was afraid she could kill something. She's very skilled.

[00:40:13] Have you ever done the gun range thing? Well, I'm trying to find you some evidence here. Oh, with the blicky. Okay. Here's one photo. Yeah. Tell with the blicky. It's actually quite scary. Not going to lie. Like it's like, it's crazy holding all this power, you know? Yeah. See, when we always doing all these escape rooms on these trips that we go, we need to start doing the gun range.

[00:40:44] Yes. Look at that. Look at that recoil. I see you. New York on the horse. There's a lot of like blow bag. It was actually quite. Yeah. It was quite powerful, quite strong. It's very, I found it for me really quite nerve wracking having that much power in your hands. And so that was actually like on a layover.

[00:41:10] So at this mall in Edmonton, they have a gun range and our captain really was into guns and shooting them. So he's like, take took us out to the, to the range. So I got to do it for the first time. That's cool. So what do you think about this as a date? I don't find it, to be honest. I like it better than football. Yeah. You're like, oh, let me shoot at stuff. I don't want to run in the mud. Yeah.

[00:41:39] I got to get that. I got to get that. I'm not afraid of a gun range either. Like, you know, whatever. Texas. I mean, it's good. Oh yeah. I guess. Yeah. And I do play a lot of like characters where I need a gun. And so you do get gun training, even if it's a fake gun, like you, you learn how to properly handle it. Like, like, you know, and all that stuff. So I have handled guns before we'll say.

[00:42:08] But that was the first time that I've actually like shot a gun. I would do that on a date because there's like an adrenaline and like, there's something, I don't know, exhilarating about it, to be honest. So Brett takes these women to their date. And this time he's not asking questions about Aaron. He's like, tell me about Heather. Cause she's airing out all these people's business. What about her? And Brandy M is like, no, uh, Heather is just, um, he like, she's out here doing the same thing. She's accusing other people.

[00:42:37] She says she was trying to bang vanilla ice on the surreal life. And now Brett's mad at Heather. And now he doesn't really know who to be mad at. Cause he wants to be mad at Heather for airing out other women. But also now there's some doubt on her name. Um, you know, Brandy M I think was another person that we can't overlook in this episode. It's kind of like playing the game a little bit, uh, because she realizes that yeah, Heather has Brett's ear. He's listening to her regardless of whether or not she's telling the truth.

[00:43:07] Um, she has a lot of influence on him. And so Brandy M makes sure to sprinkle a little salt on Heather's name as well. I'm surprised though, that he, he bit, you know, as, as, as, as hard here. Um, but yeah, the, bringing out the dirt, like it does seem as someone's saying in the chat about him being, having an ego. I think he does have an ego and I think he kind of realizes that some of these girls, they can get some younger, more famous guys right now.

[00:43:36] Like I don't know if Vanilla Ice is like, you know, the more famous, but, but he's younger. Is he? Is he? I think so. I'm sure a little, I'm sure a little bit younger, right? I feel like he would probably be in like around Heather's age at that time. No? Uh, uh, maybe a few years older than Heather for sure. How old is, what year is he born? Uh, so Brett Michaels is 63.

[00:44:06] Currently Vanilla Ice is 58. Five years. Okay. Yeah. So not that much younger. Okay. 1967 versus 63. So yeah, I think the Justin Timberlake comparison was probably the right one, you know, he's probably like 82 or something, you know? Timberlake, no, he's 81, I think. Yeah. That's what I'm saying. Or 80. 80 probably. Yeah. Um, so yeah, uh, he's not, he's not okay with this.

[00:44:31] Uh, back at the house, Aaron is, uh, being plotted on again. Lacey and Heather are planning their attack and she walks in on them doing it. Aaron says she knows not to trust Heather, but she doesn't quite actually catch them, um, plotting against her. Brandi M will now take it upon herself to say, Hey, Heather, what was it that leather you wrote? And Heather says, Oh, you know, just wrote some things about me. Just some personal, you know, talk about, you know, some stuff. She lies.

[00:45:00] They don't believe nothing she's saying. Well, of course not. I mean, if Brett's going to come and be like, yeah, she's basically talking about all of you. He's not going to lie. She's going to lie about it. So yeah, they're, they're not going to believe her. Brandi says, what's she writing? The stripper diaries? I says, okay. Okay. Um, so Lacey finally goes in to talk to Brett because she needs to have Heather's back. Cause the tide is starting to turn, right? It was on Aaron, but now the momentum is shifting to maybe Heather's the problem. Lacey goes in there.

[00:45:30] She's like, no, you got to believe me. Aaron is trash. Um, he's still not sure if he could trust Lacey and Lacey's going to, I mean, he's trust Heather and Lacey's going to be okay with that. She's like, okay, well, look, me and Heather have a final two, but I still need to win. So I'm okay with him not trusting her, at least not as much as she trusts me. And this is, you know, the, the conundrum of having a final two that you're competing with.

[00:45:55] Um, and so you kind of always want to be the one that's going to win in that final two situation. So if there's a little bit of dirt on Heather, it's good for Lacey if they're going to be in the end together. So right. Word on the street is that Lacey got that call for house of villains and, uh, did not end up getting cast on the last season. Would you be here for a Lacey house of villains? Yeah, me too. Of course. Me too. Me too. Like, is she still the same?

[00:46:25] Like, there's no way she's different. There's just no way. I just don't believe it. Yeah. No, I would, I would love to see what she's up to now and like how annoying she is nowadays. I mean, you would get to see Lacey versus New York in that case. Right. Because, um, New York is a staple house of villains. Could you imagine? Yes. I want to imagine. I want to see this happen. Next season. Is New York going to be on the next season as well? Like, is this like she's been on every season?

[00:46:53] I think she's, I think that's the running gag. So if, if look, bring us hottie Lacey in New York in the same house. Cinema. Ladies and gentlemen, we did it. We did it. Why aren't you in casting? Like what's going on here? They know they can't, they're cowards. They know they can't. They, well, they can't, they can't handle the sleigh, you know? Um, Aaron eventually confronts Heather in the phone area. And she's like, so you've been talking about me and Heather just comes clean.

[00:47:22] She's like, you don't need to be here. You are out here trying to F celebrities. You're not here for Brett. Uh, now Randy M is feeling herself. She's like, I kind of set this up. So, you know, she flipped the script on Lacey and Heather real quick. And now Aaron goes to talk to Brett. And by this interaction, he's convinced that both of them need to go home. He's like, ah, somebody lying. I can't really pinpoint who it is, but all this running back and forth is starting to get to him. Uh, Aaron will say, uh, I'm sorry.

[00:47:50] Heather will say Aaron needs to go because she's a poser. And Aaron says, uh, one day Heather is going to be a 60 year old living in a trailer park with five children and a 300 pound man because she is a 32 year old stripper. And that's all she has. Yikes. I mean, she only has one more year of stripping left. Like she's starting to be skipping for 30 more months. Yeah. She said six months tops. Yeah. She's, she's done. Do you think she's done? No, I don't think she's done.

[00:48:18] I think she's going to use her celebrity to be like a headlining dancer, but I think that's fine. I think she goes from dancer to host. I think she's passed. I think after this, because I mean, look how we're talking about her, right? Years later, we're like, this lady's a star. So I don't know, like she might get on the pole once or twice, but I think eventually she's like almost, I don't want to call her a madam, but you know. I see what you're saying. It's giving madam, you know, that's all. I can see, I mean, she has madam energy. She does. She does.

[00:48:48] So Jess says Heather is the bigger competition. And so it's probably be Heather that goes, but Aaron might not be here for the right reason. So maybe Aaron should go. Brett tells all the women that there are eight girls left in seven passes. First one being Jess. I thought Jess looked really pretty in this episode, Chantel. I don't know. I guess I don't, I don't know if I just wasn't a fan of her original hairstyle or anything, but I think because she was made up for her date. I just, I don't think, I don't know.

[00:49:15] I just, I guess I never really just saw her as a standout in the, you know, like as far as her appearance, but I thought she looked really good when she was getting her pass. Well, I've always thought that she was really pretty, but I think we, like she hasn't had a date with him yet. And like, it's kind of like, you know, we haven't seen her like smiling really. And, you know, she's got a little bit of a glow from having some amor, some, you know, smoochy smooch. She's kind of radiating a little bit.

[00:49:44] So I think, yeah, she does look really good. Her makeup looks great. Maybe it's when you don't like the spiky hair. Maybe. Maybe. Yeah, maybe. Like, I always thought she was pretty, but I thought she looked prettier here, I guess is what I'm saying. So maybe it is the hair thing. It might be. She's giving me a little, is it Alicia Cook? Prince? I mean, what's her name? Pink? Pink, her real name? Yes. Is it Alicia Prince? Yes. Alicia Cook? Yes, yes. Yeah. Alicia is definitely her first name.

[00:50:14] I can't remember if it's her last name. Yeah, what is Pink's last name? I don't know why I need to know this. Alicia Moore. Alicia Moore. Okay, I knew it was something like that. I was like, Alicia Prince? Alicia? Yeah. Yeah. I think maybe it's just the hair that's giving her pink, but I just really like the vibe. So she gets the first pass. Second pass up, clear front runner, Mia. Who? Who? Still, like, she's on the show.

[00:50:44] She's there. She won the date too, right? Yeah. Big episode for Mia. Yeah. Well, she's two. He likes her, I guess. Yeah. Anywhere where you see Mia winning this competition at this point? Zero. Zero, though. They haven't kissed. Like, they don't... Like, if they're not focusing on her at all in the show, like, they think she can't win. Right?

[00:51:11] Like, you have to kind of show the story of the winner, and they're not showing her at all. So I would have to say that she's not winning. Next up, wild thing herself, Brandy M. Erin says, Brandy is a drunk, and she's surprised that Brandy is getting a pass here. Next up, Lacey with the crazy eyes. Brett's words, not mine. Jess says, she should have knocked Lacey out in football.

[00:51:37] And Lacey is now starting to wonder, hmm, who's my next target going to be now that Erin is gone? Who do you think Lacey is going to target next, Chantel? Maybe Heather? Is it too soon? I think it's too soon to turn on your number one. You know, I think maybe... Because Jess... I mean, Sam seems like a... Respectfully, Sam seems like an easy target. They called her emotional wreck. She's kind of quiet.

[00:52:06] A little to herself. I think... If I had to guess, I'd say Sam is low-hanging fruit. Yeah, I can see that happening. Yeah. Because I can see her taking out Brandy M. Brandy M seems like she can handle her own. I think... Or maybe even she might try with Magdalena. Oh! Like, she might try. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I can see Heather and... I can see them getting in a little bit of a scrap.

[00:52:33] I can see Heather and Lacey definitely jumping Magdalena. So, yeah. Okay. Well, Lacey survives another round. Magdalena gets the next pass. And then Sam... And so, the final two here being Heather and Aaron. Heather says, I don't know why Aaron's here with me. Or why I'm here with her. She's a lying asshole. And Aaron says, she's not going to stoop to Heather's level because she's better than her. Well, facts. Yeah.

[00:53:03] Yeah. I am better than her. No, I think she wants to go leave. She's like, I want to see if I can still serve Justin tonight. I mean, Brett does call out how hard it is to trust Heather with her going back and forth and spreading all this information. But, in the end, Heather does get the pass. Aaron is the one eliminated. Heather says, bye-bye, starfucker. And Aaron's final words... I did not like Heather's hair, though, in this... You didn't like Heather's hair? It was too big.

[00:53:32] She is a big hair girly. She really is. That's kind of her thing. I think I have a photo of that as well. Look at my girl Heather here. She's... To me, I think it makes her look a little bit older. Mm-hmm. Oh, I hate it. But it's kind of giving rock star a wife. Absolutely. Rock star a girlfriend. Absolutely. Absolutely. That's exactly what I was going to do, too. I really don't like it. Yeah. It's rock star wife. You know what I'm saying? Like, she lives in the mansion, holds it down, smokes a bunch of cigarettes while he's out doing his thing.

[00:54:02] You know, she's entertaining company. She knows all the rockers by their first name, all the wives. That would be a good show, actually. Like, you know how we have the real housewives of? Like, the real rock star housewives of, like, different cities. Yeah. I mean, the Osbournes was a good show. I mean, it lasted for a long time. It lasted for a long time. And it was just that vibe of, like, the family around the rocker. And I think Heather definitely fits that mold a little bit.

[00:54:27] But we have to say goodbye to Circus Fun Bags, Erin. And her final words, she says, if Brent wants women who have been talking shit all the time or 60-year-old strippers, then I'm happy to go. Because she's had bigger and better stars in Chicago. I mean, they're probably not wrong. Like, she didn't really put up a fight here. Like, she didn't say, no, I'm not a star fucker. Like, maybe she is.

[00:54:59] Yeah, she didn't seem too sad to be leaving. And look, and that's okay. I'm not saying it's okay that she's... Well, look, I will say it. Yeah, it's okay that she's a star fucker. You know? Like, if she wants to find one to be serious with, then go on. You know? Now, if her goal is to still, you know, play the field and try different stars here and there, then yeah, this ain't the show for you. But just being like, okay, I'm ready to settle down with a star and it's Brent Michaels, I think that's a grown-up decision that she made.

[00:55:26] And also, leaving the show the way she did, I don't think her heart was in it like this. You know, she's been fighting since episode two to deal with the girl. She's been beefing with everybody. She would try to get some attention from Brent. He clearly don't trust her after the Justin Timberlake thing. I think for me, it was time for her to go. It was time. She didn't really want to be there. And she was low-hanging fruit for the... What's her name? The Notorious Duo. The Notorious Duo. Yeah.

[00:55:56] Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I knew there's my Barbie twins. She didn't really bring that much, to be honest. Nope. Other than quotes about her boobs. Yeah. We got a lot of quotes about her boobs and we might have to keep those for later on, just in general. You know, I think they were very funny. So, that said, Chantel, that's the episode. We are down to seven women. Do you have a winner pick at this point? I'm still going Heather. I feel like they have to make it seem like she's in a little bit of danger, you know?

[00:56:26] Because, to me, she's the frontrunner. Yeah. And who do you think Lacey is going to target next, if anybody? Do you think she comes after Heather soon? Well, I was thinking that maybe, because we did get a little sprinkle of her not wanting to defend her too much. Like, having a little bit of stink on her name was okay. So, I could imagine maybe her turning on Heather. But it could be too soon.

[00:56:55] Like, I think Mike Delaney might be first. Okay. Well, we shall see. But we'll find out next time here on Rock of Love Kickback here on Recap Kickback.
