That's right, it's me Chappell here for the Rock of Love Kickback once again to talk to you about this amazing season of television as it is involved in the Flavor of Love cinematic universe and with me someone who has not watched any other Flavor of Love cinematic universe prior to this but has now seen Flavor of Love, Flavor of Love 2, I Love New York and Charm School. Chantel, welcome to Rock of Love Episode 8.

[00:00:51] Still loving it, it's still delivering, I'm still happy to be on this journey. I mean I don't think it's possible for me to not be happy to be on this journey. Like it's never a chore to watch an episode. I'm always like what mess are these people gonna be doing? It's just it's so fun and like I say it every week I just feel so blessed that I get the opportunity to watch all these things for the first time with everybody.

[00:01:16] Yeah, I'll say this in my watching of Rock of Love right now, I'm still enjoying it. You know, I think Flavor of Love and I Love New York have like such high highs. There are so many moments where you're like oh my god I can't believe that, I can't believe that, I can't believe that. And it doesn't feel like Rock of Love has all of those moments but they're still like, it's still like a solid like great dating show. They're still doing wacky stuff that you know you couldn't even imagine doing on a dating show these days.

[00:01:42] And so yeah, I think that for me, just across the board, every episode is just good TV. Like there's not one where I'm like oh yeah, I could have just skipped that one because even this one we got some crazy stuff to talk about. Absolutely. There's no I'm just gonna skip this. Are you cray cray? No way.

[00:02:51] So as much as like I would love to be chit chatting and interacting on previous episodes, I'm not allowed. So yeah, yeah, it's okay. It's okay. Cause listen, maybe we'll do a rewatch. Rewatch the rewatch. Or we rewatch our recap and recap our recap. I mean, Chantel, you cannot tell me that you have no intention of ever watching Flavor of Love again. No, I don't think so.

[00:03:19] Like, I feel like I could imagine me bringing somebody else through their first experience, right? Like just like putting it on, it's like, just like watch them watch it, you know? That's the fun of it, right? Watching them watch it. Yeah. Big shout out to the people on Twitch too. I see Dez on Twitch as well. I see, of course, our favorite, you know, typical Sunday schoolers here as well. And so let's get into the shenanigans in this episode because there were a ton of them. So we talked about this a little bit last time. This episode was all about the super fans.

[00:03:48] And we tried to think about, you know, what that meant. And this was a little bit different of the takes that we've seen on Flavor of Love, right? When Flav says, oh, some of my friends are coming. He means like some of the elderly, maybe, you know, some kids, maybe his children, maybe even some rappers. No, this time around, Brett says, no, I'm bringing in my fans. And these are not regular fans. These are super fans who have dedicated their lives to being Poison and Bret Michaels fans.

[00:04:16] But Chantel, I think I expected them to be bigger fans. Well, I feel like they are all like more like exes, right? Because he said he slept with all of them, right? I don't know if he said he slept with all of them, but they definitely asked like, what would you do if, you know, what would you say if we all slept with Brett? I think Heather was like, cool, you know, whatever. But I was looking at some of the years of fandom, 10 years, five years, four years.

[00:04:45] Chantel, being a Poison fan for 10 years in the year of our Lord, 2000 and what, eight, nine? It's not that big of a deal. Like, Poison's been around for decades. I had to relate it to Big Brother, people that say that they're Big Brother super fans and they only started watching like season 18, like Paul's first season. I'm like, and you're a super, like, why did you watch? Like, what got you into the show at this point?

[00:05:15] You weren't there from the beginning. That's how you roped in. Yeah. Yeah. 10 years to me isn't that long a time. It's obviously a lot better than five years. It was five years. It's like actually crazy. Like, you're not really a super fan if it's only been five years. But it could be an age thing, though. It could be. It could be for sure. I just thought, like, in my recollection, I thought these were, I think I had the same thoughts as Jess. In this episode, Jess said, oh, God, a bunch of women that look kind of like Heather.

[00:05:43] You know, just, you know, a little bit older, I would say, but also, you know, season fans, you know. I think the blonde girl was a season fan. Heather, that was a 10-year one. I forgot the names of these people. So I feel like she may be Heather's age. But the brunette, like, I would say the cutest girl, she looked young. Okay. Yeah. So we definitely. I'm thinking their parents. Like, their mom was maybe big fans.

[00:06:13] And so, like, maybe they were inundated with Poison from a young age. And then that's what brought them into their fandom. Because, you know, they're saying you're like, who became a Poison fan in 2003? I'm like, yeah. That's a good question. When was their heyday? Like, when were they big? Let's look at Poison's Wikipedia. How about that? Let's see. When was the peak of Poison fandom?

[00:06:35] It looks like Poison got started in 1980 to 1983 is probably like the first. Like, 1983 is probably when it first kicks off, right? And then they're active until 2012. Of course, most bands do last a while, even if they're able to just kind of tour and do the old hits. Or maybe do even, you know, some like Vegas shows and things of that nature, residencies.

[00:07:00] But, I mean, they have a few tours on here leading into the early 2000s for sure. I just feel like if you're a super fan and you miss the 80s, I just, I don't know. I feel like we could have found bigger super fans. They should have been older. I think they wanted to have a younger demographic for the hot factor.

[00:07:19] Like, not to say that older women aren't hot, but I think they wanted to be more youthful and also be maybe a contemporary with the people that are in the house. So, I don't know if it's their biggest fans, but I think it's, I bet you it actually was rejects from this season. You know what I mean? Like, they probably auditioned. They probably auditioned. That's fair. That's fair. I mean, Brett does seem like he knows these women a little bit and maybe he was like, you know, we want to get some new women in.

[00:07:48] But, uh, I agree. Like, if, you know, Brett's super fans auditioned, he's like, Hey, I already know y'all like you here. You know, like, it's fine. Like, listen, it's not going to happen, but we would love to use you in another capacity. Cause you know, you want to show the fans some love. Uh, let's get into these, uh, super fans. Allison, uh, four year poison fan. Uh, she once threw a rowdy fan off of the tour bus. So she's one of the regulators. She gets on the bus and make sure that everybody is acting right for Brett. Four years is actually no time at all though.

[00:08:17] No, not poison has a 20 year career at this point. Four is like, you showed up at the greatest hits, uh, tour. Probably like two, like greatest hits. Yeah. After they would, they hadn't toured for 10 years, probably. And then they came back around. You know what I mean? Right. Right. So it's just a little odd to me that they, but you know what? Honestly, I feel like if they gone with older fans, that would have been even better. Cause older fans, you're probably like, oh yeah, I probably did sleep with Brett.

[00:08:45] You know, this is like, you know, back in the day when it was a little looser, a little loosey goosey, you know, tour bus shenanigans, life of rock, a rock star in the early eighties. Oh yeah. I'm sure. Like you said, these women's moms. Oh, they probably could have got down if they were, if they were brought in as a super fan. And I think they would have been more fun in their meanness being like, you're not a real fan. I'm a real fan. I was there. I was, you know what I mean? I grew up with them. Like I blah, blah, blah, blah.

[00:09:13] Like, I think actually if they went with an older fan, I think it would have, it would have been a little bit better. I enjoyed this dynamic for sure, but I think it would have been a little bit more interesting if it was somebody like closer to Brett's age and like closer to their mom kind of scolding them and like, you know, being like, oh, you know, nothing about being like a rock star girlfriend, you know, like, what do you know? I think that the schooling would have been a little bit more fun, I think. Right. Exactly.

[00:09:41] Um, we also have Amy and I think Amy was probably the one who I would say is probably the most super fan is 10 years. You know, I'll give you credit for that one. Uh, still sleeps in the first t-shirt Brett threw at her. So yeah, I think if like that's like, if she was constantly sleeping in the t-shirt, that's probably a, you know, we might need to check onto that, but everybody got a shirt that they go back to every now and then just put on for his cup for comfort. Yeah, for sure.

[00:10:08] I don't actually understand super fandom. Like, I appreciate people that are good artists that do good work that are celebrities, all of that. But I've never cared that much. Um, I just went to Ariana Grande on Tuesday when I was in London. It was on a whim. Yeah, I saw you at O2. Them my stomping grounds. I know, right? Do you know who walked past me? Candy Muse was like, walked past me. What? Ah, Candy Muse.

[00:10:38] Like, it was just like, there's so many people. And then she went off to her, like wherever she was, uh, you know, watching the show. Um, but like the person that I was with was like, didn't necessarily know her. And then I showed up, like, I showed on her Instagram. I'm like, look, see, she was there. She was there. And he's like, he called it. Um, but anyways, that's not my point. My point was that people are like watching Ariana Grande being like, like, oh my God. Like, I'm like, okay, she's a good singer.

[00:11:08] But like, why are you freaking out like this? Like, people are just like insane. So I've never really been like that. And so I don't understand super fandom. I don't like, is it just collecting dust? Like, you know, if you get like these, these, uh, t-shirt or something like that, like shouldn't be donating it at some point. I wouldn't be sleeping in every, in every day. Yeah. I like, uh, I'm a big fan of a lot of artists, but I don't know if I'm a super fan of any of them.

[00:11:37] Like, you know, and I think the artists that I am super fans of their day, you know, like Prince, you know, I don't know. I got, I think I agree. I didn't even cry for Michael Jackson. I've seen Michael Jackson when I was a kid. Like when I was 13, I saw him. You wasn't old enough to understand though. He was 13. That's the problem. Now, now, now the music just hit your soul. You know what I'm saying? Like, I feel like at 13, you don't understand. I was at the concert where he fainted on stage and he couldn't finish his concert if he was in London again. And if you didn't break down there, you ain't going to break down nowhere. See, that's what I'm saying.

[00:12:07] Like you wasn't ready. It was too early for you. You can't just throw anybody into the deep end that quick. Like, yeah, it's too, too desensitized. I don't know. Like, okay, we go, we go to a meet and greet and New York is there. We a super fan or not? I am. No way am I super fan. Not in that way. I need to be more contemporary. Not temporary. It's not fan. Yeah. Okay. We talked about this, right? We talked about, you can't date a fan. Like, you know, date fans. It's just, no, I'm not a fan.

[00:12:37] Yeah. I can't like to be a lot. Yeah. I appreciate the work that they do. But I can't be, I can't, I can't think that they're like somebody to glorify in that kind of way. That doesn't make sense to me. It just doesn't. Yeah. I get that. I get that. I'm a super fan for Poison. Like, I can appreciate their music. I can think they're hot. I can want to make out with them. But I just, the idolization. Yeah. It's just not something that's in you. I just don't understand it. It's crazy. Yeah, for sure. I never met Daniel Reyes, but I think it might get close.

[00:13:07] All right. Next up is. What about Sari? Oh, you met Sari. Sorry. I met Sari and it was pretty bad. I was, I wasn't like, she didn't give me a t-shirt. If she did, I might, I might still be wearing it. Anyway, here's Kai. I believe this is the one you said was the cute one. Five years of Poison fans. She named her Cat Poison. I don't know. It sounds a little fine. I don't mind naming the Cat Poison. Like, you're a fan. Named the Cat Poison. It's just like the crying and like the, oh my God. Like, oh my God. It's like his shirt.

[00:13:37] Like, cool story. But like, I don't know. I can't be crying on people. Yeah. I'm very excited about this episode because when the girls get these, these letters that are this letter from Brett that they're going to be meeting the super fans, they're immediately like, oh, thank God. Now somebody else is going to see how crazy Lacey is. They're going, finally, we're bringing somebody from the outside who's going to be able to tell Brett and he might actually listen that Lacey is batshit crazy.

[00:14:04] And so throughout, we're kind of leading to this moment because the super fans are coming in to interrogate. This is not like Flav's kids. They're all sitting around the pool. They're chilling. They're all talking. You know, they're not, you know, at the old folks home. These girls immediately say, okay, Brett's leaving. You all go outside and then we'll bring you in one by one. So until they kicked them out of their house and put them in the rain, in the cold.

[00:14:31] And that is, that's what I remember from reality TV, stupid shit like this. Like they could have easily went into another room. They put them outside in the cold and the rain before they could bring them in to interrogate them. Yeah. They really wanted to like torture them so they can get the truth out of them. You know, the deprivation is going to give them the most truthful answers. I guess it's what they're, they were going with. Yeah. They don't really do that extreme stuff anymore. Yeah.

[00:14:59] But they definitely do the interrogation room. Like that's something that they still, well, I feel like they do. I mean, when was the last time you saw like, maybe like on The Bachelor, maybe? No? Probably, I think so. I feel like that would have to be where it would be at. Back in the day two, I don't know if they did it in the US, but in the UK for Love Island, they used to have like the lie detector. Okay.

[00:15:28] And so it wasn't like the stark light in like the interrogation room, but they definitely had them hooked up and were asking questions to them that were like, you know, are you cheating on me? Are you in love with me? Do you like who gives feels to anybody else? Like all those type of questions. So like that kind of the interrogation has happened since then. I feel like I've seen it recently. I think it's been on The Bachelor recently. Yeah. That's why I said it has to be there.

[00:15:57] Cause I, you know, they're not doing that on like married at first sight, even though they should. They're not doing that on Love is Blind, even though they should. You know what I'm saying? Like bring in the lie detector. What I wanted to do was the lie detector on Love is Blind right at the end being like, is love blind? Right. Do you love this person despite the way they look? Or even if you just like the moment they come out the pods and they do that big reaction, immediately pop them out the other way. Are you excited? Are you happy? Do you like this? Are you okay? Is this your type? You know, like just for us.

[00:16:27] The other person don't have to know. Right. But we need to know because all the faking and shaking, I don't like that. I need to know how y'all feeling. Yeah. I think they need to bring back the interrogation and the lie detector to everything. Yeah. Everything. Lies. Yeah. We need that. We need that. I mean, it could be like, I mean, we did see Brigitte Nielsen in this role in Flavor of Love, you know. And she was asking questions to people like New York, like, hey, are you in love with Flav? And New York said yes.

[00:16:58] And passed the lie detector test, by the way. Maybe she knows how to regulate her or her heart rate, right? You think New York does? I don't know. The queen of self-regulation. Okay. So we end up bringing... Michael, though, you did not act like that's meeting us at our first live show. Ignore Hornhub. He didn't act like that. You were fine. Yeah.

[00:17:26] And in those kind of environments, it's completely different. Like, it's not the same. Yeah. Y'all ain't fans. We friends. Yeah, we're friends. Yeah. One of the things I did notice, though, when Kai came down the stairs, she kissed Brett right on the lips. It was that same energy that New York had when she comes to see Flav. Yeah. What do you think that is? Do you think they... I don't know. Is there the same wound? Do you think they... There's not the same wound. Oh, yeah.

[00:17:54] Chantal, do you think we see any of these women again? If there's a season two, I wouldn't be surprised if this was... Rather round, maybe, of these women doing a similar type of episode slash challenge, I wouldn't be surprised. What if they competed to get back in the game? That's what I was about to say. I... Well, there's a lot of episodes left, right? And so... Yeah, we got like three episodes or four episodes left.

[00:18:24] We're not close to the end. I think it's four. Yeah, I think it's four. What did we just watch? Eight? Yeah. Eight, so there's still a nine, ten, eleven, twelve, and thirteen. Oof. A lot of episodes. Oh, clip show. Clip show is eleven. Yeah, we could probably slip the clip show in with something else. But yeah, we got a few more episodes to go. But you know, like you said, if there's a season two and we said, okay, remember the super fans from season one? Let's bring them in and then they can take one of the spots.

[00:18:53] And do you think that these women would be eligible for charm school? They have to come in. They have to do a whole season. You know what I'm saying? Like, we can't just be putting everybody on charm school. You know, Slave of Love charm school was so good. You know, you two can't slip one of these. Remember Allison? It's like, no, we don't remember Allison, you know? So yeah, we got to keep the bar high for something like that. Exactly. Is that the blonde, the older blonde, ten years? Allison was four years, I believe. Oh. The four-year fan, yeah. The first one.

[00:19:22] I actually didn't remember her even when you put her face up. So you're right. So speaking of the interrogation, they go into these rooms one by one. And, you know, it's very intimidating to people like Sam. She doesn't love this. It's Lacey, Brandy. They already knew. This will be fun for some people, but this will be miserable for Sam. And throughout this episode, we're really going to see her go through it because she is not the competing for love type. I don't know how they got her to come on this show. I don't know what she thought she was signing up for.

[00:19:51] But every time there's a challenge that involves other women, Sam is not interested. Yeah. And I just, any, when a woman is like, I don't get along with other women or like, I'm always like, sometimes I'm worried that they're the problem. Right? Like, when it's like, oh, I only hang out with men. I only get along with men. I'm always like, hmm. So she's slightly like, she doesn't give off the usual energy of that type of girl. But she was saying that.

[00:20:21] And I'm like, what is it? Are you have a competitive thing with women, but you don't want to compete against them? Like, do you feel that like you're inferior? Like, I don't know what it is with Sam, but she, her, she is quite low self-esteem, which is, it's just, I want her to have a better time on this show. It seems torturous. Oh yeah. She does not seem happy here at all. You know, she's talking about how it's intimidating how hot the girls are.

[00:20:48] And you know, the girls are here to grill them and to tell Brett who is phony and who is here for him. Lacey, of course, is not threatened by these women because she's the queen of intimidation. And so we will see what it looks like when they all have their attempt against this esteemed panel here. Now, I like the set the mood that they did, right? Like they really tried to give you like this interrogation feel, like you're in like some type of crime, you know, show. I think, you know, Chantel, you've been a detective in TV shows before.

[00:21:18] This is your type of alley. Actually, let's find a photo of that. That is exactly the last thing that I did where I was a detective interrogating somebody, a witness. Of course I remembered. I am only noticing the glass sides and lots of water sides. Is there some sort of symbolic reasoning here, do you think? I mean, that's a big ass glass of water. That's like almost like a base.

[00:21:47] Do you think it was another bit that we just didn't see? Well, let's talk about it. Brandi, Brandi M's hair caught on fire during this segment. And we can't, we can't just, I don't think your hair can catch on fire on purpose. On purpose? You think her hair caught on fire on purpose? Like a hot, hot lamp? Like I feel like- Yeah, she was next to the, to the, you know, this thing, the lamp above her head. And it was just smoking.

[00:22:17] I know, but like the fact that when they're like, I think her hair is on fire. Like I feel like that's something you should tell her. She, she caught on, but I mean, I think you should throw the, you got that big ass bucket of water. I think you kind of need to hand it to her, don't you? That's what I'm saying. Like, do you think that maybe it was a setup? Oh, like, well, maybe if she says something, we can give her the water and like, and like pour it on her head or something like that. Maybe it was just hot in there.

[00:22:43] I have never seen anybody's hair just catch on fire just from the, the heat of an interrogation room. That's why it seems as though it was a bit of a setup. Yeah. I mean, I just don't really know. It wasn't supposed to always be hot, but maybe it wasn't supposed to start smoking. I don't think it was supposed to. I just really don't think you set somebody's hair on fire on purpose. You know, like that's, that's what, like at this point, what's the limit? You just started to like lighten people on fire.

[00:23:11] That's, is this not the craziest thing we've seen in two shows? That this woman's hair just caught on fire. Like it was normal. Well, you know, Daniel, for your saying that like brings me back, my family used to have that exact one growing up. I think they just actually get really hot. And like, Daniel was talking about this lamp, not the one. Not the one that's lighting that woman's hair on fire. There's no reason why that lady had to be smoking. I should have that lamp at the bar. It's a very popular lamp.

[00:23:41] I mean, I like it. It's very nice. I don't think, I think that they intended it to be hot and just be like, oh, this is really hot. It's hot in here. Yeah. I don't think the, the smoking hair was, was, was on their list. I think that that was an added bonus. Is there like extensions or something like that in there? Maybe she got like some, you know, something like that that's really sensitive to the heat or maybe hairspray.

[00:24:10] Maybe, maybe, uh, just Kelly in the chat saying, didn't the same thing happen to Michael Jackson on the studio light just years ago. Uh, well, Michael Jackson got exploded by, by pyrotechnics, you know, uh, that Pepsi shoot and then from there. Yeah. And then from there he was wearing a lace front the rest of his times. So, you know, I wouldn't be shocked if, uh, you know, like I said, the lace front might've, you know, I didn't actually remember. I think I knew this when I was younger, but I didn't actually remember the reason why he started wearing one glove was because of the vitiligo. I really did not.

[00:24:40] I forgot about that. And I was like, that's actually really cool though. That's something that he was trying to mask about himself, like became like his signature and like, it was like the coolest thing. Yeah. No, he was, he was flipping all that stuff. He really was. Anytime he had a chance to like, uh, change the narrative of, you know, what was happening to his body and stuff like that. He definitely did. Um, but I, uh, you know, I feel bad for anybody whose hair just catches the flame in front of other people. And this happened on TV as well. So I just thought, Oh God, uh, Brandy get out of there.

[00:25:11] Brandy did not enjoy her, uh, her interrogation. They said, um, uh, she's nervous. She doesn't know what she's in for. And then they asked her like, Oh, so what do you do? She said, I'm a dancer. They say exotic. Yeah. Exotic. Um, they asked her if she's looking for a ticket out of the strip club. Oh, there you are. Yeah. Chantel, the interrogator. Mean mugging. Very serious in there under the hot lights. They weren't that hot. They weren't that hot. No, no smoking hair. Yeah.

[00:25:41] What did you think about Brandy being grilled about being a stripper? I thought it was like kind of rude, you know, you know, especially since like Heather's also a stripper, but they didn't actually see, they seem to embrace her stripperdom. Not, uh, and they did not do the same as for Brandy. Um, maybe they're more intimidated by Brandy, Brandy. Well, I mean, they're all the girls are cute, pretty, whatever, but maybe they thought Brandy

[00:26:09] was the cutest and they think to like, just like knock her down a couple of bags. But I was saying, Brandy has the best personality and like, I feel like she didn't show it. And so maybe they're recognizing that she wasn't being her full self. Yeah. A lot of people can't take this kind of energy, like, you know, like almost like that hazing energy of just like, I'm being mean to you because I'm supposed to not so much that I don't like you. I just like, my goal in here was to crack you. And so as you could tell Brandy's standoffish, when Brandy tells them like, they're like, oh, so you think this is your ticket out of the strip club?

[00:26:39] She's like, well, I'm not actually not, you know, going to be a stripper forever. I'm in school for architecture and building design. And they said, what kind of buildings are you designing? Strip clubs? I said, damn. I mean, she should have said, absolutely. She should have said yes. Right. She should have said yes. She should have said, absolutely. I'm taking my expertise from my part-time job and applying it to my new field. You know, she really could have flipped this, but I think that cracked her. The strip club comment about the architecture really was the one that got under her skin.

[00:27:06] I mean, it's such low-hanging fruit, though. Like, come on. Don't get rattled by that, Brandy. But maybe we didn't see, obviously, the whole conversation. And maybe this was just like the straw, you know? Yeah. And she's just not that proud to be a stripper. I think that's the other thing, too, right? So it's kind of like they're picking at an insecurity that she does have. Because when they try it with Heather, we know Heather. Heather, she don't give a damn. She likes being a stripper. She's like, whatever. I'll do this for 20 more years if I got to. You know, Brandy was the one that was like, about six months. You know?

[00:27:35] But I think Heather is kind of like, okay. You know, whatever. So when they talk to... Is there any sort of demographic or career aspirations for the Poison superfan female? I feel as though there might be many people that are dancers, strippers, or exotic dancers. So what if one of them are...

[00:28:02] Like, do you think that none of those three women are exotic dancers? They might be. What if they do? I would say, yeah, let's get into y'all business. How about that? So y'all in here on the house. What do you do? Yeah, what do you do? Well, quickly. You know? No, I'm with you. Maybe one of them is a stripper. But the thing is, you know, they're using that natural insecurity just to pick on Brandy. I just really don't think... Like, I think if Brandy had came in with a better idea of what was going to happen, we saw this with...

[00:31:51] And they talk a little bit about her insecurity. She wants to tell them to F off. And they say, okay, well, you know, if you're really passionate about Brett, why don't you do a fake orgasm for us right now? Go ahead. Rude. Yeah. She's like, I'm not going to moan for these bitches. I won't give them the satisfaction. I mean, I'd probably do something like a fake one. Be like, ah, ah, ah. Like, you know, whatever. They're like, boo, boo. She can't fake it. Tomato, tomato. Yeah.

[00:32:21] I mean, it's kind of like a loser thing to ask someone to do. It's tough. I mean, again, they're just trying to rattle her. And of course, Sam hates every second of it. But they can tell. They're asking her, like, do you need therapy? And this thing again, though, that, like, it's interesting that as soon as, like, her, you know, talking to... It becomes a talking point. Yeah. They keep on bringing up, like, her mental health and her mental state. It's like they were looking for a storyline to give Sam.

[00:32:49] And it was basically like, you're not strong enough for this. You know, like, you don't have the mental capacity to withstand the heat of being with a rocker. Being underneath that light. That would be Brandy in her hair. So, next, they bring in Jess. And they're asking Jess about her Poison fandom. Jess is 22, 23. She don't know these people. She don't know Poison. She's like, you've been a fan for 10 years, baby. You're barely a bigger fan than me. And so, they ask if she's a good kisser.

[00:33:19] And then she's like, yeah, we'll prove it. And then Kai gets up, walks around the table, and just starts kissing Jess. Well, she chose Kai. Oh, did she choose Kai? Yeah. She's like, no, I guess I'll choose her. Yeah. Okay. And then she walked up. Yeah. She said, she's a lip biter. Ooh. Okay, Jess. Yeah, Kai didn't complain. She came back like. He had a little bit of a smile. Yeah.

[00:33:49] She liked it. She liked it. And we have been saying that her and Brett kissing seems like they have some chemistry. So, maybe she's a good kisser. Yeah. They told her, they applauded her for showing Grace under pressure, which, again, I think is the challenge. And then, finally, they bring in Heather. And, of course, they ask her about her stripping. And she's like, yeah, and? And then they're like, do you think this is your ticket out? She's like, I don't know. Like, they ask if she wants to be a stripper forever. Do you think Brett wants a stripper? Then they ask, do you think any of us have slept with him?

[00:34:18] And Heather's response is something to the effect of, I mean, probably. I would have if I was in y'all position by now. And they really liked that response. They're like, you know what? You're cool as hell, Heather. We like you. Because they're like, oh, I've banged him multiple times. And they're the same as Heather. They're like, yeah, he's looking for a new girl. And, you know, like, whatever. I came here to sleep with that man. And that's what I did. You know? And so, Heather's kind of like, sign me up. Yeah. I guess, like, they could see each other being friends.

[00:34:46] Like, part of, like, the Polly wives or, like, his brothel of women. Yeah. On the way out, Heather does say she thinks Amy wants to sleep with her. And so, yeah, there's probably something there. They also get to Lacey. And Lacey's like, these are my type of people. I'm the queen of intimidation. They get under Lacey's skin really quick. You know? So, they're like, they don't like her. They can tell. Like, other girls have been talking shit about her, too.

[00:35:16] Because Jess really did take her time to spend time burying Lacey with the other girls. And they're asking her, like, are you on medication? Do you need therapy? And she's like, I just feel like I'm being mistaken as a crazy person. And if you really spent time with me, you would understand the real me. And they're like, well, the other girls spent time with you. And they think you're crazy. So, what's up? So, this was the hardest challenge for Lacey so far. It was because she doesn't know what everybody else has said.

[00:35:41] It wasn't like a specific thing that she could be like, fix it or like, cover it up or have an excuse or a story for. So, she kind of had to like get clues from what they said about what the other people said about her. And it was just a lot harder for her to defend herself. And so, she probably felt quite vulnerable that she didn't have more control of like the narrative that the other girls were painting about her. I really thought this was the Lacey exit episode.

[00:36:10] I was kind of hoping it was. Slash not hoping it was. I do think it's Sam's time to go. She's just not enjoying herself there, here, or on the season. So, I was thinking it was going to be Sam. I thought that Lacey would still get through. See, I'm kind of like Jess. I thought, okay, at this point, Brett, how many people have to tell you that Lacey is insane and that she's not here for you and that this is a bad choice and da-da-da-da-da? You know, like the first couple times when it's just the girls inside the house, it's like, okay, fine.

[00:36:39] Maybe even the producers just like keep her around. But at this point, you're bringing in random people off the street and they're like, you know who sucks? Lacey. It's the producers. They're making him keep her, I think. Gotta be. Because he keeps on saying like, you know, I really like you. Like, I like you. Like, you're like, I don't know. There's something about you. You're something about you. And I'm like, well, what is it about her that you really like? She's not. I think that she is the least attractive to me out of the people that are left in the house.

[00:37:10] Her personality is terrible. Have they kissed and made out? I don't think so. Not enough for this kind of emotion to be tied to her. That's where I'm at with you. She's a drummer though, right? And she knows that lifestyle. She knows the lifestyle. Maybe that's what it is. So, like you said, Sam hated this. So, Sam takes off to her room. She's sobbing and crying. Everybody's trying to console Sam at different times. Brandi M also hates this.

[00:37:36] But when the women come out, they say, okay, now let's all hang out. And so Jess is hanging out with the girls, the super fans. And she turns out to like them. She's like, they're not that bad. After the interrogation, it seems like they're all cool. Of course, like I said, Sam can't fake it. So she's hiding. And Jess has found her people. Like, you know, it's been a minute since Jess has had a lot of friends in the house. I think Lacey and Heather have really been whittling those people out of the game.

[00:38:01] And now she's like, okay, some other people who also don't like Lacey, I can get along with them. And so through talking, it turns out that these girls, they don't dislike Sam either. She's kind of in the room like, I'm going home. I hate it here. I don't like to be here. These bitches are evil. And all the evil bitches are like, how do we stop Sam from leaving? We really like her. Let's keep her around. Well, it's because Sam is likable. And like, she's a good person.

[00:38:31] She's just, like, if she's in a proper environment and dynamic, she could excel. And so I think they would just like rather pick up Sam and have Sam stay than have Lexi stay. Because we know that Lexi is a menace and they can't stand her. So they'd rather have quiet Sam that's a little sad sometimes over Lexi. The demon. The demon. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, and this is also Jess's only friend in the house, right?

[00:38:58] Because if Sam leaves, then she's stuck with Heather and Lacey and Brandy M. I guess she could kind of, you know, a little bit. But for the most part, Sam's her best friend. So I think that's another reason why. But like I said, the other girls, the super fans, they're in on keeping Sam around too. So Brett pulls the super fans to the side and they discuss the girls. They say Brandy M is just telling him what he wants to hear. They like Jess. They say Heather is the best one. But she might not be okay with Brett in his rock star lifestyle. Maybe like just like leaving her at home behind.

[00:39:27] They think she's going to want to be, you know, on his hip at all times. And then they say Sam is cool and they want to be friends with her. But maybe the show isn't for her. And then, of course, they all land on we don't like Lacey at all. I mean, that's a natural sentiment here. We don't like her. She's good to be, but we don't. She just sucks. So I wouldn't just see the real her.

[00:39:54] I know this is like probably a bit of a lot of like a persona that she's playing. Like I want to know who the real Lacey is. Lacey. Oh, see, see, see. Yeah, I don't even know her real name. Maybe her name is Lexi. Maybe her real name is Lexi. Okay. Go ahead, Lexi. But maybe that's what they're doing. They're keeping her on until the Meet the Parents episode. I think we need to know where she's from. Oh, because we got to see the roots. Yeah. Okay. All right. You got me there. Yeah, you got me there.

[00:40:23] I like that because I do kind of need to see it. Heather wins the date and she's excited because she's like even the super fans that are supposed to come in hating on her know what's up. And so she's like, perfect. This is the night that she's going to go get the tattoo. And we watched this woman get a tattoo at the final five. Not even in the finale. Not after getting chosen. Not before the reunion special. The final five.

[00:40:52] Heather goes and gets this man's name tattooed on her neck. What did you think about this display of love from Heather? Okay. I probably wouldn't get a tattoo just like because, because for the story, for the plot, I wouldn't get his name tattooed, especially if I don't know if he's going to pick me and if we're going to be together forever.

[00:41:19] Because like Brett's a kind of a hard name to cover up. Like what could you, what could you write instead? Like I don't really know. Another A and another R and another T. But Brett? You got to, you got to write stupid on the back of your neck at that point. Because why, because why did you do this? Why did you get somebody's name tattooed on you? I mean, I wouldn't get my mama name tattooed on me and that's my mama. You know? Yeah, I wouldn't do a name.

[00:41:48] I don't know where it is. But I just saw somebody, what was, they had a name or whatever. And then they changed it to Ryanair and put a plane. Like I can't remember what it was. But like, I was like, okay. This is Ryanair with an airplane. I mean, yeah. Like covering up something. I don't think, like, okay. I could, listen. I could probably see myself getting my mom's name tattooed on me somewhere. But like, not even a spouse.

[00:42:16] Because divorce can happen, you know? I don't think I would get my kids' names on me. Because what if they have bad vibes? You know? I don't want to, you know. The kid might go off to be crazy and do something weird. And now you're walking around like, that's my baby. I'm going to stick beside him. Yeah, but you got to have a name tattooed on you. [00:47:53] So she's feeling pretty good about herself because she says none of the rest of these bitches would do it. The other girls are at the house still bonding. Even Brandy M has loosened up a little bit. They're all talking about, you know, just bread and talking about the competition, getting to know each other. And also talking about how much they hate Lacey. Lacey. When Heather comes back, she's running to the door like, oh my God, Heather, these all has been awful. I hated it here. And she's telling us at a confessional that she can tell she's losing control.

[00:48:21] You know, of the house, you know, like she's kind of had a death grip on the way people's moods in the house. And now that Heather was gone for a little bit, she didn't have her backup. Yeah, exactly. She, and she was also probably feeling insecure about how she did all the challenge. And so, yeah, she was starting to spiral a little bit, which is kind of fun because she's probably was like, oh my God, I don't have a grip on the situation anymore. Like I, she was probably thinking that she's going to be going home because it was

[00:48:49] like an unfamiliar kind of environment at this point. Right. Yeah. She's outnumbered and it doesn't happen often in this season. The girls even go and talk to Sam, like as a group, like, hey, Sam, you need to stay. Lacey goes. She has to fake it. Like, oh yeah, Sam, please stay. Um, but Sam is kind of feeling it like, okay, maybe, you know, I think it's okay for me to not want to be here, but to want to be with him. You know what I'm saying? Like, she's like, I like him. I don't like this competition.

[00:49:17] And so that's kind of where she's torn from. Uh, and so Lacey and Brandy get pulled aside again by the super fans because they're the bottom two in their eyes. And so, um, while this is happening, uh, they're outside grilling them. And of course, Lacey is really feeling the heat. They're starting to warm up to Brandy, but it's something about, uh, Lacey that they're just not feeling it. They're like, it's feeling fake. It's feeling phony. And she's like, but if you knew me, if you really spent time with me and Brandy's like, no, I spend time with you all the time.

[00:49:47] I just, you, you're awful. Uh, and so Lacey finally lets down her wall and she tells them like, this is, I have to keep this wall up because it protects me because of all the stuff I've been through. And she starts to cry and nobody cares. I mean, it's, I do believe it's put on, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's, if she's extracting this from truth. Yeah.

[00:50:14] And, uh, this is Jess's take on Lacey crying or at least forcing herself to cry. She knows she has to be emotional or she's not going to get any sympathy points. Right. Cause she's losing in every other category. So she's going to need something. Uh, I thought Jess was very funny with this reenactment of Lacey crying. Yeah. Like I said, like as much as I think it was, she, it was a fake moment. I do. That's also one of the reasons why I want to see her family.

[00:50:40] Like what, what happened to her for her to be awful? No, good questions. Um, so, uh, elsewhere, Jess is telling Sam that the other girls didn't say anything negative about her. And so she's really considered reconsidering leaving. She's like, you know what? I'm, I'm gonna stay, I'm gonna stay around. It's fine. Uh, I'm going to face my fear of rejection and kick it a little bit longer. Um, so the super fans eventually leave.

[00:51:07] And now Lacey is just left crying to herself or at least crying in quotation marks, because who knows if she's really crying. Um, then, uh, Brandy and Sam are, I'm sorry, uh, Brett and Heather are back. Everybody's kind of talking and they're telling the super fans are telling him even more that Lacey sucks. He's like, well, I just need to consult my own feelings. You know, I need to see how I feel about this. So, uh, at eliminations, Jess feels confident. Sam doesn't want to be here, um, but she does want to be with Brett.

[00:51:35] And Lacey says the girls in the house have finally won. And that sucks because Brett's not seeing the real her. And so, uh, after some deep thought, he has finally decided who he wants to eliminate. Heather gets the first pass. And of course, Jess is like, uh, yeah, I think Heather is dumb and she's going to regret getting that tattoo. Do you think Jess is correct? Do you think Heather is dumb and she will lose the competition with that tattoo on her neck? Well, I do think she's winning the competition. So, um, I think.

[00:52:06] That getting the tattoo, regardless of what happens between her and Brett, she has a storyline to talk about. So if she does any sort of press, they're going to be like, tell me about this tattoo. And she'd be like, at the time, like, I really, like, I really cared about him. Like, whatever. Like she has something to talk about that keeps her linked to Brett and the show. So I think, uh, this is as good as getting, you know, a hundred thousand Instagram followers after you get off the show.

[00:52:35] I think it's, I think it's good for her brand and good for her future, uh, gigs. Yeah. I mean, especially cause she's an entertainer, right? Like, you know, we, we talk about her being a stripper, but you know, a stripper can turn into host. It could turn into, you know, business owner, you know, now that she's got a little clout. People ask questions about tattoos. So, oh, when I was on that TV show, you know, I think, uh, it allows her to talk about the show more and about herself and her experience. So.

[00:53:01] Also, wouldn't it annoy you if you won this man's heart and stuff like, and some other girls walking around with her and his name tattooed on her? Yes, it would. Yeah. But also it keeps her on the storyline, right? Yeah. That's, that's so funny to me. Like, I just like, you're like, yeah, you chose me. And then like, she shows up at the reunion with the tattoo. And stuff. It's like, Hey, okay. Maybe this is why she got the tattoos because she wants, she's taken her claim. This is her like piston on the tree. Yeah.

[00:53:31] Like got his name tattooed on here. It's going to make it a lot harder for him to choose somebody else. Uh, and I think it obviously it turns him on. So I think that's, it could part of it be strategic. Yeah. No, good points. Um, so, uh, Jess ends up getting the second pass. And of course she's very excited. Um, you know, he finds out, he tells her like, yeah, I heard you were a good kisser. And of course a biter as well. Um, the next pass goes to Brandy.

[00:54:00] Um, he says initially, uh, you know, the girls weren't feeling her, but they came around eventually. And, um, so she's happy about that. Um, but Sam and Lacey are in the bottom and I'm, I'm not even joking. I literally thought, okay, this must be the Lacey exit because I mean, there's nothing redeemable that we got from Lacey in this episode. Um, but he calls her down first. Fake tears. Maybe the, maybe I just didn't think Brent really believed it, but when he called her down, the first thing he did was apologize. I'm so sorry that you had to go through all of this today.

[00:54:30] Yeah. He's has a weird relationship with her. I think it's all lies and contrived, but it's, it's odd. Cause like, I don't see any chemistry between them at all. They never make out. Like, why does he want her there? Maybe he just finds her amusing. Maybe, maybe. I don't even think she's that funny. Uh, so, you know, like, like demons. Yeah. At least the villains in flavor of love were funny. You know, like they were funny. Um, okay.

[00:54:58] So then Sam is asked to come down and like I said, because I thought Lacey was going home. I really thought like, is he not going to eliminate anybody? Um, but, uh, Heather says Sam is pathetic and she's ready to watch her go. And that's exactly what happens here. Um, Brett says Sam would not be able to help handle the pressure. Of dating someone like him in the real world. Just too many eyes on them. Too many girls around. I mean, Heather's walking around with her name tattooed, with his name tattooed on her. Sam would not love that. And so he's basically telling her to go, go ahead outside.

[00:55:26] She says we'll be friends for a very long time. And then they make out for a solid. Chantel, this is one of your makeout sessions. Like a solid two, three minutes. And be like, oh, smooth. Oh, smooth. He's the last time. Well, maybe not the last time. Maybe she's going to come back. Maybe she's going to come back and be like, no, I didn't want to. I couldn't leave you, Brett. I'll endure these women and this process because I want to be with you. Maybe that could be a good move.

[00:55:56] Maybe. But, um, of all the people who, uh, had, I guess, like I said, the worst showing, it's very clear that Lacey's plan and tactic of crying, it worked. Yeah. And so, uh, Brandy's saying Lacey deserves an Oscar and Lacey's saying, yeah, uh, it's crazy what a few tears would do. And so, yep, we're down to our final four. We have Heather, Brandy, uh, Jess and Lacey. And, uh, you know, we're like four episodes away from the finale.
