Chappell is back for another rendition of Recap Kickback, where we chop it up weekly about entertainment and whatever else Chappell wants to talk about.
This week in a special emergency podcast, Chappell is joined by Jazz (@JLStep3) and Jason (@Jibranondatrack) from the “Was It Good Though?” Podcast (@WasItGoodThoPod) to talk about all the crazy drama in hip hop right now.
It’s essentially Drake vs The World as the rivalry between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has reached a head and Kendrick is seemingly taking no prisoners. This recap will discuss the timeline of the recent diss tracks and break down some of the drama and the lore surrounding rappers, Drake and Kendrick Lamar. All eyes are on Drake as we await his response!

[00:00:58] between Drake and Kendrick Lamar completely explained here on Recap
[00:01:02] Kickback now I say completely explain but I don't have that kind of time we
[00:01:05] don't have enough time to get into it really down to the nitty gritty of why
[00:01:09] these two people hate each other so much or at least why Kendrick can't stand
[00:01:13] Drake's ass but in the meantime we will get into the current events that
[00:01:17] led us to this conversation we're gonna talk about the timeline of events
[00:01:20] that has in chronicle this Drake versus Kendrick Lamar beef because
[00:01:25] it's getting out of control and honestly I don't even know if I can make
[00:01:28] content to keep up with the amount of diss tracks that are dropping so we're

[00:02:21] week that said let's get into it with me today to talk about the beef between
[00:02:27] Drake and Kendrick Lamar and all the rest of the people who apparently hate
[00:02:30] Drake first up from the was it good though podcast is jazz jazz what's up
[00:02:36] what's going on thank you so much for having us I am excited for this
[00:02:40] because when you access I was like I don't know if I'm qualified but then
[00:02:44] after 24 hours I'm like I'm ready yeah ready for this
[00:02:48] yeah that's the type of energy we're trying to bring to this now with jazz
[00:02:52] jazz is co-host over on the was it good though podcast Jason Jason welcome to
[00:02:57] recap kickback man appreciate you for having me I got full black grandparents
[00:03:01] so I'm glad to be out here to talk about this on today I've been invested
[00:03:07] the entire 13 years I've been I've been there since the conception of this
[00:03:12] so being able to talk about what what is transpired to I'm excited yes this is
[00:03:19] going to be so much fun we need I needed to tap my friends over the was it good
[00:03:23] though podcast to help me out with this one if you're not familiar with their
[00:03:28] podcast please go check it out was it good though on YouTube I've been
[00:03:32] talking and plugging our my recent appearance on there at 99th episode
[00:03:37] was it good though when we talked about the nutty professor you can
[00:03:40] check that out I'll make sure I include the links in the show notes but also go
[00:03:44] give them a subscribe and a like and help them grow their podcast because they
[00:03:47] have hit over 100 episodes y'all so I'm trying to get like them and so I knew
[00:03:53] that if I was going to do this content I needed to bring in some experts
[00:03:56] and I'll just start with you Jason since you you are the historian of
[00:04:01] this of this panel tell us why are you so invested in the Drake versus
[00:04:06] Kendrick Lamar beef um Drake and Kendrick since they've come out have been my
[00:04:11] favorite two artists like outside of Beyonce Beyonce don't count but outside of
[00:04:16] Beyonce Drake and Kendrick have been my favorite it's always been like a 1a1b
[00:04:21] situation now I do gravitate a bit more to Drake's music because it's more
[00:04:26] than most it's I mean he's he's a bit more emotional and that's who
[00:04:31] that's kind of like what I am but like Kendrick music is a little bit
[00:04:35] different it kind of hits for the soul so it is it's a it's quite a bit
[00:04:40] different now it is kind of hard at this point right now with Kendrick's on his
[00:04:45] ass like Kendrick is more on his ass than push a T was and like he's not letting
[00:04:49] up and this is the type of not give a fuck that you need to be on if you're
[00:04:54] going to go into rap beef yeah I agree I agreed like you have to get to the
[00:05:01] point where you know what is it if I'm beating your ass in front of God you
[00:05:05] hide the Bible or something like that yeah it's all better off you know we
[00:05:12] come here to rap and we came here to talk trash and it's a it's a battle at
[00:05:16] this point jazz you said you weren't invested over the last 24 hours you have
[00:05:19] done a deep dive you're in it where do you lean but in general in general when
[00:05:24] it comes to these artists we won't talk about where the beef has landed us
[00:05:27] but what do you naturally gravitate to because we know Jason leans toward the
[00:05:31] Drake side are you also Drake so I am a Drake fan for sure and then I dabble in
[00:05:37] Kendrick as well I would say my favorite artist is J. Cole I'm glad he decided
[00:05:42] to bow out and walk away and just live in his peace because my nigga like is
[00:05:48] it okay if I say that because I mean we're here now I'm just like I'm glad
[00:05:53] because you know what go go be with your wife and kids because all of this
[00:05:56] mess over here is been insane Jason made a playlist of all the diss tracks over
[00:06:02] the past couple years I listen to that in the gym this morning I'm not gonna lie it
[00:06:05] made me want to start a beef with somebody I know beef on nobody cuz I'm
[00:06:09] just sitting here like I need to choose violence but I have nobody to direct
[00:06:12] this virus too and I was just like oh my god but it's so wild to me just to
[00:06:19] see everything unravel in a matter of a weekend and it's just Kendrick has
[00:06:25] not gotten off of Drake's neck and I'm a Drake fan I listen to Drake music but
[00:06:31] I'm leaning towards Kendrick that last track was a pop I mean I'm sure it's
[00:06:43] some wholesome fraternities out there that could do a nice little step little
[00:06:47] line dance it is yeah I'm just saying
[00:06:54] sounds to them wholesome fraternities out there yeah listen I personally I'm
[00:07:01] glad that this is the panel that we do have because I'm more of a Kendrick
[00:07:04] person than a Drake person but I'm definitely not a J Cole person if
[00:07:07] J Cole has one hater you're looking at him so I'm happy that he tapped out
[00:07:10] of this one too but we're not here to talk about J Cole today we're not here to
[00:07:14] get into our personal preferences with those rappers J Cole might come up in the
[00:07:18] conversation for a little bit but we're gonna get into that just a second so
[00:07:21] this is for this is the TLDR for the people who are not keeping up everybody
[00:07:25] kept telling me get your whiteboard out you know I'm an educator so you
[00:07:28] get your whiteboard out make a make a chart da da da da and I tried y'all
[00:07:34] I tried y'all and it's gotten to the point where this is all bad now let me
[00:07:43] try to rule this blur look at this okay you're actually trying to solve a
[00:07:48] crime but I mean it's always sunny somebody somebody somebody body who's
[00:07:54] doing the body right so you see in the middle you got Kendrick versus Drake
[00:07:58] then from spin-offs you got the big three conversation you got Taylor made
[00:08:03] freestyle redacted you got the weekend is in this somehow leave able out of this
[00:08:08] he didn't do nothing to you actually well we'll talk about it Ross versus Drake as
[00:08:14] well and then down here in the corner you can't see it jazz but says not like
[00:08:17] us a bop literally a bop okay it's science it's it's science at this point
[00:08:23] y'all I can't remember the last diss track where I was like listening to it
[00:08:29] back to back I'm like I didn't listen to this shit in a car for real back
[00:08:33] literally back to back not back to back did not hit like this to me yeah to me
[00:08:38] right here I got a history lesson and a nice little bop like to where it's just
[00:08:45] hitting like I'm going to sleep like
[00:08:49] oh yeah like
[00:08:51] look I did the work on the white boy but I was like that's not gonna be good enough
[00:09:06] so we're really gonna have to break it down and hopefully we can even talk about
[00:09:09] back-to-back a little bit because that came up in these conversations as well
[00:09:12] um so that's it listen again that that's the long and the short of it is
[00:09:17] Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been beefing they have started off like some
[00:09:21] fun like here's a jab here's a jab there and then it is we have hit the nuclear
[00:09:25] option at this point Kendrick Lamar is firmly planted on Drake's neck and he
[00:09:29] is not getting off anytime soon so I know Jason that you know that this has
[00:09:34] started years and years ago there've been tons of little little disses slug at
[00:09:40] each other everybody remembers the control verse everybody remembers these
[00:09:43] other these there's in moments right but the moment that seemingly started
[00:09:47] all of this this time you see me checking the chart the moment that seemingly
[00:09:53] started this was first person shooter a track that dropped last year last
[00:09:58] October so it's been roughly five months since that track dropped where J. Cole
[00:10:03] and Drake teamed up and in that song they talked about their success and
[00:10:09] how Kendrick Lamar would be the third person in what large largely is
[00:10:13] considered the hip hop big three right now right your Drake stand Kendrick Lamar
[00:10:17] stand or J. Cole you fall into one of those categories it probably blurs over if
[00:10:22] you like rap you're gonna like all of them to some extent but that's the big
[00:10:25] three as per that song and a lot of people's comments Jason how did five
[00:10:31] months later we get to Kendrick Lamar saying no actually it's just big me
[00:10:36] and I don't even like y'all like that so so it actually so it came out that
[00:10:45] the original song was Kendrick Drake and J. Cole they sent it open to J. Cole they
[00:10:52] got the verse back from J. Cole not J. Cole they got the verse back from Kendrick
[00:10:56] and he was dissing them within the verse like he was he stayed on the
[00:11:00] song but within the song it was more of a I'm fighting with y'all as opposed
[00:11:03] to it being gay we coming together celebrating the top dog so that last
[00:11:09] verse on that song you kind of hear Drake saying nigga send me a he said
[00:11:12] something about nigga send me a verse and that is a weak verse or something
[00:11:16] he can he takes a shot within that song so after that happens then you have
[00:11:21] Kendrick was like now fuck it we fit up now we fit to run it up and
[00:11:25] that's when like that comes out and then you see you see how you see how
[00:11:30] that has spun since then but they had a come but they had another
[00:11:33] conversation after that they had another conversation after that and he told
[00:11:36] Drake what they had a conversation and they said all right cool we're gonna
[00:11:40] run it keep to keep the kids keep the family off of it and of course you see
[00:11:45] push ups and you see Drake mentioned his wife yeah yeah we definitely don't get
[00:11:51] to the family aspect in several different ways as well yeah how'd you feel
[00:11:55] though when you saw J. Cole and Drake teaming up God feel like this
[00:11:58] feels like that's your big two you know I'm saying so how you were like
[00:12:00] okay bet we got first person shooter you're not a fan no I was feeling it
[00:12:05] for sure and I feel like for years we've been waiting on a Kendrick and Cole
[00:12:10] album which is me I'll speak for me because we got some co-haters here so
[00:12:15] I was waiting on that so I was I was feeling I was cuz thinking I was just
[00:12:21] okay that is the victory I get it but since I haven't been following the
[00:12:25] feud for so long I'm just like oh he's throwing shade at somebody but shit it's
[00:12:30] about so let me just keep going it was just like ah but yeah
[00:12:49] yeah it's a shame so that was October of last year March rolls around and we get
[00:12:56] the like that verse we get we don't trust you from Metro Boomin we all know what
[00:13:01] happens if young Metro don't trust you he gonna shoot you right and future shows
[00:13:06] up drops his drop some bars puts Kendrick Lamar on this on this mix
[00:13:12] tape as well and says all right Kendrick on the last track which is
[00:13:16] we're gonna do our thing so future comes out he kind of throws a little slug
[00:13:20] here and there at Drake you know you will you will fan all that kind of stuff
[00:13:23] and then Kendrick comes out and he basically says there's no big three it
[00:13:28] is I am the I'm the best I'm better than all of you and I've offended that y'all
[00:13:33] even talking about me like that because we don't sit together you can't
[00:13:36] sit with us and so when that happens there is like the aura of just like
[00:13:42] the smoke clears right and the hip hop world is waiting okay he's obviously
[00:13:47] talking to J Cole he's obviously talking about Drake who will respond and I
[00:13:51] believe it's a couple weeks before anybody says anything and it's J Cole is
[00:13:55] the first one to pop off and a lot of people were surprised because he
[00:13:58] doesn't normally do that kind of stuff yeah it was shocking it was shocking
[00:14:03] to see J Cole come out now seven minute drill was of course directly about
[00:14:08] Kendrick that entire song all the way about Kendrick I prefer a pie over
[00:14:12] seven minute drill whatever but yeah it was interesting to see him come and get
[00:14:17] him like well coming back at Kendrick and you know we know what happened how
[00:14:22] that weekend followed up but I'm gonna pass it to to jazz like Stockton
[00:14:28] well jazz I mean this is your chance this is what brought you here so largely due to the hip hop
[00:14:36] communities lust for battle rap and drama or just maybe J Cole's competitive
[00:14:41] spirit he does pop out with the seven minute drill we know seven minute drills
[00:14:45] are what he calls it when he just writes a song in seven minutes to see what
[00:14:47] happens like how far can I get seven minutes I gotta go and then let's see
[00:14:52] what let's see what happens so he calls a seven minute drill he drops it but
[00:14:55] it's obviously a response to Kendrick Lamar now some people would say it
[00:14:59] was a subpar response to Kendrick Lamar because he doesn't really take a lot
[00:15:01] of shots he really just kind of says hey you know I like your music you cool you
[00:15:07] your first song your first album classic blah blah blah but you've been falling off
[00:15:10] and now I'm the Mufasa of this group right I'm the head honcho here and that
[00:15:17] was it was all cool right he lied a little bit you know he said to people
[00:15:20] butterfly was trashed but you know Lil lion ain't never heard nobody in the
[00:15:22] diss track jazz you like that you like that record I don't hate it you know
[00:15:29] it's not my favorite Kendrick Lamar album but also to like act like it's trash
[00:15:33] it's like now mr. morale I ain't like it but anyway so I love that I love that
[00:15:38] I'm good I don't need to hear domestic violence on track nine you know whatever
[00:15:42] like just like they make the back back to me oh okay well we'll get to the
[00:15:50] pot line on the district yo come out the line with chappell around crazy
[00:15:56] second time it happened y'all if y'all want to know what I'm out check out
[00:16:00] that nutty professor podcast jazz to my point is J Cole did all of that only
[00:16:07] to then two days later say you know what I'm sorry my bad I really respect
[00:16:12] Kendrick actually and I really don't want to smoke I'm taking this down it's
[00:16:15] not a line with my spirit I'm out of here and he removes the track from his
[00:16:20] mixtape his fourth mixtape which would have been called well which is called
[00:16:23] might delete later we call came out with the apology and everything
[00:16:40] everybody was pissed off like everybody I posted on my socials I was just like I
[00:16:45] understand that man did not want no kind of drama in his life he's want peace let
[00:16:49] him apologize I got killed for that mm-hmm now everybody who killed me is like oh
[00:16:56] now I understand why he did it and I'm just sitting here except for Jason so
[00:17:03] everybody I understand why he did it because I think it might have been one
[00:17:07] of them situations to where he heard that this track and he went to the
[00:17:11] studio he was just like he made it and he was like you know what this a me
[00:17:15] this is my homeboy and he I think Cole knew what was coming he was like you know
[00:17:20] how you playing around with a friend okay we got jokes we not having those
[00:17:23] serious back-to-back beef and Kendrick was probably like nah bro this is about to
[00:17:28] get serious we not playing okay and so Cole was like you know what I'm not on
[00:17:34] that kind of energy I thought we were playing you know I'm gonna leave I'm
[00:17:38] gonna keep my family together you're not gonna call me a dead beat dad like so I
[00:17:45] get it and while everything is going on you know who peace wasn't disturbed this
[00:17:49] weekend J Cole J Cole yeah Jermaine riding his bike around hey look look
[00:17:56] though Jake I said J Cole the whole weekend J Cole waking up in the middle
[00:18:01] of night and Kendrick screaming is here the whole night he's saying I got
[00:18:05] I gotta make this right
[00:18:09] sometimes the demons
[00:18:15] he was a church he said you know what he was a church before the dream ill fast and
[00:18:20] he was like I talked to the Lord I'ma let everybody know that
[00:18:23] that's his show everybody at that show with so pissed off they called it but
[00:18:31] you know what Cole was peaceful now Drake is having nightmares is sleeping under
[00:18:36] his covers
[00:18:40] they day they're having nightmares daymares evening bears look yeah we do
[00:18:45] know that was was was J Cole tipped off though like what made him apologize and
[00:18:50] alive I'm pretty sure he talked to both of them Kendrick and Drake just to
[00:18:57] see like he I don't think he understood what the like what it really was between
[00:19:02] them to but it's ever since they control verse the relationship switched like
[00:19:07] that then everything switched at that point like Kendrick it was a friend it
[00:19:11] was I think it's always been like a I just want to be the top dog pun
[00:19:15] intended like I want to be that person like so Drake being within that lane
[00:19:20] being the one that was he brought Kendrick into it I should I went to
[00:19:24] concert in J Cole over for Jake for Drake like that's just he's just always
[00:19:28] been that person so when these people begin to come to the same level I mean
[00:19:32] that's what it was and I think Kendrick wanted to just have a friendly back
[00:19:36] and forth like I'm talking to you know big person in Dragon just like not
[00:19:39] like he like he really he don't really want to do that like he you know
[00:19:43] like but she didn't do it then it was like what you hold back it's
[00:19:47] rap nigga rap rap rap wax get in the booth man shout out to Lotto shout out to me
[00:19:54] look that's Lotto's like mark on the community forever and I'll take it you
[00:20:00] know get in the booth all this Instagram and tween and stuff like that we want to
[00:20:04] hear rap music personally I feel like somebody was like they called Kendrick
[00:20:08] about the start of war against by ratios and
[00:20:13] it might be your time it might be time to go
[00:20:22] yeah I'm just saying I feel like he was like I'm about to start calling people
[00:20:26] white and j cole
[00:20:28] calling us it was like oh
[00:20:33] yeah well night night night he didn't hear him he didn't hear that one because
[00:20:37] I mean Drake I mean Kendrick definitely wrote that right after here family
[00:20:41] matter she wrote this shit right then yeah so basically we have like that we
[00:20:47] have seven minute drill then we have the retraction the apology like jazz said
[00:20:52] people were on j cole's neck five days later the song was removed from apple
[00:20:57] Spotify and title uh in the meantime a track called push-ups just appears on
[00:21:04] the internet nobody's name is on it at the time
[00:21:06] and it's obviously Drake but people start to speculate is this AI because there
[00:21:11] were AI like verses floating around the internet this is an evil world we live
[00:21:16] in where someone could manufacture a diss track for you um and get and get away
[00:21:21] with it and so Drake leaks the push-ups it somehow ends up on the internet
[00:21:26] and in the last several days people are like just you know dissecting it
[00:21:30] and push-ups is Drake calling out tde top dog entertainment which is uh
[00:21:35] Kendrick's label and saying oh Kendrick you're not in the big three anymore
[00:21:39] actually SZA could be in the big three before you and several other people
[00:21:43] could be in the big three before you he calls them a pipsqueak a pussy uh
[00:21:46] he says he couldn't touch him in any realm he's not performing wise money wise
[00:21:50] etc I think he told Metro Boomin the producer from the like that record
[00:21:55] that he can uh uh shut his whole ass up and start making drum beats again
[00:21:59] like it was it was a lot y'all but this was a leaked track this was not
[00:22:03] even official until probably the end of the week um and one of the other people
[00:22:10] who got dragged into this is Rick Ross and by dragged I mean happily walked his
[00:22:15] ass in the middle of it so push-ups dropped and everybody's jamming to it
[00:22:22] like they should you know with whatever it's Drake whatever and he's
[00:22:26] he's listening to it uh and this is Rick Ross like huh
[00:22:30] you really leaked this track you really leaked this to kind of gauge how people
[00:22:34] felt about it now Jason was Rick Ross correct is that what
[00:22:38] was going on here or like how did you end up on the internet before it was a
[00:22:41] released Drake has been clumsy throughout this
[00:22:45] entire battle in my opinion I don't know what that was like that
[00:22:50] there's been a page on Twitter that supposedly had the record first
[00:22:54] um and then academics had the record like that that entire thing
[00:22:59] was was sloppy and it was messy I feel like I do kind of side with Rick Ross in
[00:23:05] that matter like I do think he tried to leak the record to see what people felt
[00:23:09] about it first before he actually officially
[00:23:12] released it but yeah he should have just he should have put his name on it
[00:23:16] like the same way he did the tailor made freestyle drop it on your page
[00:23:20] let us know this is coming from you regardless even if you clean it up
[00:23:24] on the backside of the cool or don't say shit until they should
[00:23:27] clean up like that's that's ridiculous
[00:23:31] yeah Ross had some things to say about it he's basically
[00:23:34] on instagram uh watching the like that listening to like that jamming like that
[00:23:39] or whatever and so Drake made sure to include Rick Ross in the people that
[00:23:42] he was dissing in push-ups he told Rick Ross basically you 50
[00:23:46] years old go mind your own business uh and I was like oh okay
[00:23:50] now Jazz Rick Ross and Drake that's another tag team that
[00:23:53] go way back yeah but they now they're not on the same page at all
[00:23:59] it's like he's losing all of his collab friends
[00:24:02] like over what but I think and correct me if i'm wrong I think the reason why
[00:24:06] like him and Ross are even at odds is because he invited
[00:24:10] Ross's ex to a show something like that yeah so I think their
[00:24:14] issue is around a woman because yeah most of these issues about women
[00:24:18] except Kendrick yeah which mean that means it
[00:24:22] excludes somebody which means not always thank you
[00:24:25] I said most let me finish my point Jason damn
[00:24:28] I'm on Ross and uh Drake right I'm on my I'm on my Kendrick bully right now I
[00:24:32] want to step on your bully and me brother we now have no black men versus
[00:24:37] black women in this situation you're right you got that that's why we can
[00:24:40] drink up out of here today um but you know I thought it was I was
[00:24:45] shocked at Ross even dropped his his diss record so quickly
[00:24:50] you didn't you didn't see 15 Ross beef did you yeah that was a nasty beef
[00:24:58] nasty beef 50 and Ross it got it got real I'm not sex tapes and all
[00:25:02] so um Rick Ross as Jazz pointed out has had responded at that point to push-ups
[00:25:08] uh he says okay cool bet you drop push-up you leaked it let me go ahead
[00:25:15] and address what you said about me in push-up so he dropped champagne moments
[00:25:18] personally this is my favorite of all these diss tracks because it just
[00:25:21] Rick Ross for me just like sometimes he just be in his bag the right beat the
[00:25:25] right flow he just he's like you just jam to it in the car
[00:25:28] but Rick Ross he did not make a song you just jam to in the car
[00:25:32] this man Rick Ross I'm pretty sure he's the first one really just pulled off
[00:25:35] the gloves he was like hey Drake you're white
[00:25:39] he got a white boy several times uh a little anti-semitic you got big nose
[00:25:44] I was like well he that's anti-black too I was just shooting all the things you
[00:25:48] know he was going everywhere on Drake um caught him a culture vulture
[00:25:53] talked about his bbl talked about his abs getting done
[00:25:57] I learned a lot about Drake's body jazz in the last like
[00:26:01] month or so and it's all these rappers seem to know all about it
[00:26:05] I'm curious I'm just like okay you're saying all of this but you've been
[00:26:08] cool with Drake for years that's where I'm just like okay
[00:26:14] y'all been cool with him for so long you didn't have an issue with any of this
[00:26:18] until the tripoli stuff that he had been doing all these years affected you
[00:26:24] Drake hasn't been dealing with dudes women the whole time
[00:26:27] you didn't have no issue with it but now now since it's yours
[00:26:32] now you got a problem come on I'm just like okay you see a snake
[00:26:36] come on somebody it's fun day somebody yeah it's me but not a snake
[00:26:40] bitch you and you just like actually I don't like that snake
[00:26:44] what do you think that snake is gonna be a snake
[00:26:48] man the Drake is going to be a Drake Jason
[00:26:51] we're great right
[00:26:55] but yeah now I'm 100 with you like I feel like people
[00:26:59] that man I want to I want to do this because I know that the hip hop
[00:27:04] historian looking me and pulling my LeBron card uh it's coming out of me
[00:27:08] but the same things that they apply to Drake
[00:27:12] to a certain extent got applied to Jay-Z when he was
[00:27:16] when he was up and coming as far as he's taken from these different people he's
[00:27:20] he's trying to align himself with the new the hot thing and they're doing so the
[00:27:24] same exact thing but I feel like in every situation it's been mutually
[00:27:28] beneficial for who Drake was with as well as
[00:27:32] is that other person as well whether it was Lil Baby uh whether it's wrong we
[00:27:36] gonna be going to talk about Ross we'll talk about Ross I think every
[00:27:39] situation that Ross was involved in they both benefited from that whether it's
[00:27:44] the different the line like they were getting the songs that they were getting
[00:27:47] the hits that they made as things that they were able to collaborate on
[00:27:51] they both benefited from it so until it was no longer a benefit to
[00:27:54] situation or also when Ross saw that people
[00:27:58] was kicking his head and he was like fuck it let me join in too because
[00:28:02] I feel the way now I want to jump into this situation so yeah and I fuck Ross
[00:28:06] um I like I like I like Ross music but Ross music doesn't have replay value
[00:28:11] for me like when I first hear it I'm in the car like man god
[00:28:15] I want to go I want to go I'm feeling like BMF then like the next time I hear it
[00:28:22] I'm like damn this shit boring to me for some I don't I don't know why
[00:28:25] every and that happens every time I hear Ross record I love you I love
[00:28:29] what he talk about how you do it when it comes to that that mafia
[00:28:32] mafia so flow type shit when you talking about how how big braggadocious like
[00:28:37] just oh yeah that's his bag Ross gonna kill it every time and he got some
[00:28:41] music but yeah for some reason the replay value isn't there for me personally
[00:28:45] yeah one of Ross's biggest claims in this is that Drake has been just just
[00:28:49] clout hopping you know he's a got some clout from the Wayne
[00:28:52] and then he tried to be the white boy in the crew like hey
[00:28:55] hey guys what's up straight out of Canada which I do it you know and it worked
[00:29:00] like you said Jason a lot of these people benefited from Drake and all of his
[00:29:03] homey hopping um he the man come from Canada he
[00:29:07] rep Houston Atlanta and Vegas at the same time his favorite uh
[00:29:10] favorite basketball team is like the Kentucky you know like
[00:29:15] the man he's making afro beats uh he dropped blim
[00:29:18] like why you know like he's doing tiktok he's with sexy red
[00:29:22] drakes everywhere and it does benefit those people but in a lot of ways
[00:29:27] it probably benefits him a little bit more and so that's probably the argument
[00:29:30] that we're going to land on eventually is that people are going to start to call
[00:29:32] Drake out about more of this but he eventually claims push-up as his own
[00:29:36] this is all within one week okay uh and then uh on that same day the same
[00:29:41] day that he decides to claim push-ups I believe he drops the tailor made
[00:29:44] freestyle now this is to me the lamest thing Drake has ever done
[00:29:48] like this this to me like I and I'm I'm not a I'm not the biggest Drake fan
[00:29:53] but I just for this one right here really just kind of I was like Drake what are
[00:29:56] you doing because Drake releases an AI diss track
[00:29:59] essentially where um the first verse is Tupac Shakur who we all
[00:30:05] know is connected to Kendrick Lamar because that's like kind of like his
[00:30:08] idol or whatever um and he has uh Tupac basically
[00:30:12] whispering in Kendrick's ear like hey go diss Drake talk about him you know
[00:30:16] call him a bitch say he like younger women Drake don't open that can of worms
[00:30:20] that's not something you need to open the can of worms on but we'll get to that too
[00:30:23] um and then he asked noob dog coming in and talking down on Kendrick saying like
[00:30:27] you haven't released another diss like what's going on why are you just
[00:30:30] sitting on this because remind you like that it's almost it's been about a
[00:30:34] month since like that has dropped and we haven't heard anything from Kendrick
[00:30:38] so Drake drops this freestyle April 19th he insinuates that Kendrick Lamar
[00:30:44] was scared of getting uh overshadowed by Taylor Swift's album drop this is now
[00:30:50] taken and from the internet as well because Tupac just states that you didn't call me
[00:30:54] y'all didn't ask y'all you can't just use AI Tupac to sell records or to you know
[00:30:59] to get streams just I I just again this is so bizarre to me you know and not
[00:31:06] even the Tupac part just the part that gets me the most is there you use AI
[00:31:09] Snoop Dogg you could have just called Snoop Dogg he's live
[00:31:13] he said uh I have nothing to do with it right right why what is Drake doing
[00:31:20] I think it's I think Drake has gotten to the point to where he feels like he can
[00:31:25] get away with and do whatever he wants without any kind of repercussions
[00:31:32] and privilege
[00:31:33] yes I think Drake's privilege has pretty much gotten so high to where he just
[00:31:41] move and do whatever he wants so now luckily the ancestors are instilling
[00:31:48] into Kendrick a way to humble that ass
[00:32:00] Jason what did you think about the Taylor Swift style
[00:32:03] so my thought process isn't either one of y'all's in this in this situation so
[00:32:09] I thought it was very creative right so Kendrick is the alien the one that does all these weird
[00:32:15] miracle lyrical crazy voices in the song when he's sounding like his self then he may sound like a
[00:32:20] baby rapping in the same exact song so I felt like it so I felt like it was it was it was two
[00:32:30] things I felt like the the Taylor Mary freestyle which I'd listen to still every day I feel like
[00:32:35] it was a I felt like it was a way of him trying to get at Kendrick but be like Kendrick
[00:32:42] at the same exact time so instead of him trying to go and do the try to rap exactly like Kendrick
[00:32:46] doing a little alien verse which he did he did do at some point I thought he went and he did kind
[00:32:51] of like what Kendrick copied but did better in that 6 6 16 in california song he tried to do a
[00:32:59] psychological thing let me let me let me let me fuck with him a little bit since he ain't
[00:33:02] saying nothing and I know he's not gonna say so I knew I think Drake knew he wasn't going to
[00:33:06] reply by the time he did that so it was just like fucking let me go ahead and drop again
[00:33:10] let me just feed the streets in that situation so it's quiet I'ma jump into it so I'ma get into
[00:33:16] his ear as this I do feel like if he would have did this just in his own voice it would have hit
[00:33:22] differently and I think he could he could have probably Taylor made it a way to make it sound
[00:33:29] a lot better if he did it in his voice I understood the point of the the Snoop Dogg
[00:33:34] in two-part thing but you're also not fit to call to uh do not fit to call Snoop to talk about
[00:33:41] Kendrick on the song the way he did that um so one thing people are skipping is Drake wrote
[00:33:46] three of them verses regardless if he rapped it as another voice so he gave you three more bars
[00:33:52] it just was people felt it was weird because he did that because it wasn't it was I'm like a
[00:33:57] filter and while he did rap like them he wrapped like his self as that person so it was kind
[00:34:02] of like a which people say is almost like him what he does anyway it's cost playing a rapper so
[00:34:08] that's the unfortunately the backhand the double-edged sword in that situation yeah the same way Drake
[00:34:14] cannot reach out to Snoop Dogg and say hey can you can you help me diss Kendrick Lamar you also
[00:34:19] cannot use his voice and likeness to do that right so yeah you know that gets snatched down
[00:34:23] fairly quickly legal issues come in Drake's way potentially but April 30th is when it starts
[00:34:29] to go down Kendrick finally wakes up from his slumber you know there've been plenty of jokes
[00:34:34] about how often Kendrick's gonna drop oh well he only drops ever so often blah blah blah but when
[00:34:40] he does drop uh Kendrick drops euphoria and everything about this song had the internet
[00:34:46] in a tizzy I'm talking about had everybody up in arms because euphoria even the title
[00:34:52] I saw think pieces on the title because they're like huh why would Kendrick name this after
[00:34:57] a show about underage children that be out here having sex with overage men and stuff like that
[00:35:04] like why euphoria what does that have to do with Drake um in the song he calls Drake a scam artist
[00:35:10] not a rap artist uh he also accused Drake of lying on him but then he goes on around his
[00:35:16] like Riley Freeman list of things that he hates you know what you mean you know what you're
[00:35:21] you know I'm saying and he hates the way that Drake walks and talks he hates all the women that
[00:35:26] drinks uh that Drake dates matter of fact we all hate those women according to uh Kendrick
[00:35:31] he's just speaking for everybody yeah we don't like them either matter of fact we don't even
[00:35:34] like the way you say nigga you black ish but I don't like the way you say he's a cringe and I
[00:35:39] go it don't sit right with me jazz this is what jay cole was avoiding he was like I
[00:35:44] don't know I don't want no part now you see he's uh he's a chump that's what I see that's
[00:35:53] how I think I see because what difference did that make get your jump back out there look the
[00:35:58] blop oh gonna come off soon jayson it's okay yeah I personally don't love that jay cole bowed out
[00:36:05] of this either because I'm kind of like it gives me more ammo to be like I told y'all this man
[00:36:09] but at the same time jazz makes a very good point because this is where it gets
[00:36:14] really personal okay that this is where Kendrick starts insinuating a lot that jake Drake is into
[00:36:20] underage girls you know young girls um we hear about the cease and desist about the about the
[00:36:26] record we hear all these direct shots at Drake um jay cole he's free he's got free he made the
[00:36:33] right call because some of these allegations are like leading into like legal territory they're
[00:36:39] finna be a rico on ovo if Kendrick keep talking it seems so I was shocked about what I heard on
[00:36:45] euphoria but also I was very happy with the rap uh so jayson as far as euphoria goes where does it
[00:36:50] land on your rankings of the tracks we have so far man I think this may be my favorite one um
[00:36:57] if I'm not mistaken I believe it may be my favorite one just the way Kendrick the way he layered
[00:37:02] and he was going through it I don't think I hate is this the other stand the stands have made the battle
[00:37:08] almost unbearable on both sides of which I try to make sure my elite people understand my
[00:37:14] allegiance is nigga I'm in the middle of this I am a fan of rap um regardless of what a person think
[00:37:20] because I like I said they they have always been my one a and one b Kendrick has been missing
[00:37:27] for seven fucking years in the rap how can I cheer for this nigga he ain't got shit out there for me
[00:37:32] to cheer for him he's been quiet I was very vocal when mr mr mr mr morale and speak step by step
[00:37:37] with the people you know you don't really like that I do like it I am this nigga is wrapping
[00:37:42] his ass off now I know it's not for everybody um and I'm not trying to I never tried to push
[00:37:48] my views on a person I just tell you what I'm into and what I enjoy um but yeah like
[00:37:54] like said to stand everything that Kendrick say is 100 different it's it's 100 different words
[00:37:59] when he's right it's 100 different man I'm like bro Kendrick don't even know what the fuck which
[00:38:03] I was talking about he probably like not just not what I meant by that he meant it all what you
[00:38:08] want to pull it so you can just put your name on stuff sorry that's another way
[00:38:19] getting their liking and favorite in all the tweets up jazz you gave Jason a crazy eye roll I'm talking
[00:38:24] man she did because she can't because she fit a lot go ahead and lie I can push the I can push the
[00:38:31] narrative too come on I haven't show me where I defended Drake y'all go to Jason Twitter
[00:38:39] I haven't I haven't defend Jason if I if a Drake maybe not directly but my nigga no
[00:38:47] am I am I am I am I am I fighting for him or rap what am I fighting for
[00:38:53] come on what's real favorite by Drake what's the splits jazz
[00:39:00] Kendrick dropped this I mean everybody be lying
[00:39:04] everybody is you know you know okay so no everybody is that's 100% Drake Drake lion
[00:39:11] Kendrick line they both lying I don't know what let me say look okay so what is three things either
[00:39:17] both of them line one of them line or both of them telling the truth which I have you want to
[00:39:22] write I have you want to ride with that but I'm not around but I think both of them line I don't
[00:39:26] think I don't think both of them being I don't think everybody be honest within the situation
[00:39:33] but as long as long as Kendrick I'm stepping the ass again as long as Kendrick
[00:39:38] continues to drop ain't shit that Drake can can rebut him and none of you because as long as you
[00:39:43] keep because if I if I throw out something like an a kid allegation like you doing things
[00:39:49] with children nigga why aren't you like at some point people saying you you think you can't
[00:39:53] address it because or if you don't it's the elephant no you got to address this
[00:39:57] shit let people fucking know like I simple fact that you're addressing everything else that
[00:40:02] does not matter except for the biggest thing right there in your face but you
[00:40:09] got your bbl but like it but in that I want you to understand when you when you control the
[00:40:14] narrative you can also kill narratives Drake brought up things that people ain't bringing
[00:40:18] up no more there hasn't been anything to substantiate Kendrick hasn't hasn't cleaned
[00:40:22] up anything that Drake has said in family matters but we against it when it matters
[00:40:29] keep his wife's name out your mouth no he did well he did he did say that but also
[00:40:36] we haven't got my family's name out of your mouth yes that's great but um we haven't got to family
[00:40:40] matters yet because Kendrick is then going to follow up with another one another one and this I think
[00:40:46] this is the wildest one for me y'all because I'm minding my own business oh okay you know like
[00:40:52] you just try and live your life you know and they all of a sudden the internet just blows
[00:40:57] like hey what so he dropped 616 in LA an obvious shot to Drake as well because Drake does the
[00:41:06] time and location songs a lot that's kind of his like that's kind of his like one of his
[00:41:10] trademarks you know uh and so this time he's calling Drake a terrible person telling Drake that
[00:41:16] all the people that you are surrounding yourself by they don't they're rooting against you as
[00:41:20] well uh it's people in your camp that are helping me that are working with me the people
[00:41:26] you think you with are not with you um and I believe Drake that's Drake's own line you know
[00:41:30] it's like hey you're not you're not the guy you think you are right and um he even used a sample
[00:41:37] from Al Green for what a wonderful thing love is and he didn't have to use AI Jazz this man got
[00:41:44] Al Green himself to hey hey look it's clear but they tweeted out from the official Al Green
[00:41:51] twitter account that this song uh was cleared that's nasty business that's as far as I'm concerned
[00:41:56] as nasty business jazz listen I just it's not looking good for Aubrey but not at all I'm just hoping
[00:42:09] look I I don't even know what he could say after all of this you bring me I'm sure he
[00:42:14] gonna say something but I don't know what he has to say something at some point he's going he's
[00:42:23] going he's he's not even allowed to to be silent he's not allowed to do that he's not allowed to do
[00:42:29] the J. Prince and go make a peaceful concert because Kendra's not gonna do that no way but
[00:42:35] there's plenty of things you can say you bring up whatever so at this point
[00:42:39] Drake's gonna have to really pivot to go back to the allegations that he made but
[00:42:44] substantiate those claims because right now everything is really in the air but as long
[00:42:49] as Kendra keeps making bops it's kind of hard to make a to to make anything but a lot of things
[00:42:55] that there's rumors everything is going to be a rumor until it's substantiated but the thing
[00:43:00] in that I do feel like Drake Drake has two things he's battling he's he's losing he's losing
[00:43:07] though he's losing the rap he's losing the funding he's losing he's losing the song as well but in
[00:43:14] that the one thing that both of them have still in the air is nobody has substantiated any claim
[00:43:19] that they have they can just keep on running with the narratives that the internet are doing it
[00:43:23] but it's Kendra Drake has a bigger one because he put the pedal claim on him and that's one
[00:43:30] of them you you almost that's almost like that's almost almost close to touching a woman in a way
[00:43:38] kind of like what he's claiming so the first person they can they can prove that part of it
[00:43:43] I think they can they can they can shift it they can shift it but you know some people some
[00:43:48] someone said you know this is rap people don't really care about that part of it
[00:43:53] do you think past things that Drake has done as an old tweet and certain behaviors at concerts
[00:44:00] could also support the fact of uh I'm not I'm not I'm not riding with tweets um now the
[00:44:07] things in the concerts I I I can agree with but even but even when it comes to a concert like
[00:44:14] I see I don't this is this is this is where it comes scary um when it gets dangerous because
[00:44:21] one Kendra Drake shouldn't have mentioned Whitney in the song he should have left that
[00:44:25] shit alone he shouldn't have did it but I feel like a lot of his his lesson comes from getting
[00:44:30] his ass beat by push a T so now he's like now I'm gonna push I'm I'm pushing it to that so
[00:44:36] I want to I want to say this to say I want to be mindful very very mindful when it comes to
[00:44:43] it um so the concert thing that you were referring to jazz it was a 17 year old girl
[00:44:52] Drake was 23 it wasn't illegal right that that situation it wasn't illegal where he was it
[00:45:00] wasn't illegal for him to do the I think he kissed her right if I'm not mistaken something like
[00:45:05] that yeah that it's it's weird as fuck but it's not illegal because different states they have
[00:45:11] you know these different things as far as when it comes to age so that it wasn't illegal but it is
[00:45:15] weird the bigger one that I will go into which even that one was supposedly shot down was the
[00:45:21] Millie Bobby Brown right yeah that's that's a bigger one where people say that's an inappropriate
[00:45:25] relationship um I I don't know how the thing with that is I don't know how those situations
[00:45:33] go because when it comes to celebrities and how they deal with the kids or they deal with
[00:45:39] different people like one because we have the grooming you have the grooming allegations
[00:45:42] as far as how that how that works but the other thing I'm like I don't I can't understand it
[00:45:49] because no I'm not I'm not I'm not taking my daughter's friend like I'm 34 my daughter is
[00:45:54] 13 I'm not texting her about shit but me and her know we also ain't on the same level at no
[00:45:59] point Millie Bobby Brown is one of the biggest kid stars like whatever when it comes to it so
[00:46:06] I don't it could have been a situation where I was looking at I was looking at tank I was looking
[00:46:10] at tank one of my favorite r&b artists he brought Ghana to his house for his daughter a concert
[00:46:16] his daughter's like 14th like I don't who's to say that these people don't like there's not a
[00:46:21] some type of relationship they will have oh you know as far now I probably like no I'm not
[00:46:26] talking I'm not texting no kid regardless you a fan like that's just kind of weird I'm not doing
[00:46:30] it Drake that I don't know how that situation is good how that situation go but Millie has came back
[00:46:36] and said it's not that y'all making a situation weird that never was weird but that doesn't matter
[00:46:41] it's the whole thing of her saying me and Drake we text he told me he gave me advice about boys
[00:46:48] that niggas I and that's he's an older guy like I in that situation what if you just
[00:46:53] hey stay away from boys focus on your career and get there later in a word if that like she's
[00:46:59] 14 is that what she is that was gonna come out her mouth no but like I said you like I said it's just
[00:47:05] it's it's thing after thing when they come to him and like I don't deal with young women no way so
[00:47:10] that's that's one thing I never have to I couldn't understand but I don't I don't even try to
[00:47:16] rationalize with it like it's weird like I will admit it's weird as fuck but I'm not going to
[00:47:21] put that claim on him until that that that is an actual thing no I totally agree again if
[00:47:27] you heard that here on recap kickback everything we just as allegedly we don't know this man we
[00:47:31] don't know what he did but when it come out that he did that shit we can admonish him you know
[00:47:35] fairly you know I'm saying like if you but these are a lot of these are allegations a lot of this
[00:47:39] is rap battle bravado a lot of it is lies some of it is true and it feels to me like a lot of
[00:47:45] it is true because I've got to lead into it with jazz and saying too is that you got to say
[00:47:48] something you know like even if it ain't related Drake drop a note tap hey no no no no no no
[00:47:55] hear me out hear me out it's all funny games well that's rap but also I deny and this did
[00:48:03] not happen these things did not happen you can rap on your own time but those things y'all
[00:48:08] not gonna keep throwing that stuff at me because that's the even just the court of public opinion
[00:48:12] it's really hard right you refuse right right because everybody's like well if you ain't saying
[00:48:17] nothing about it then you obviously okay with it floating around out there right um
[00:48:21] but to jason's point there are some allegations against kate and lamar by drake that also you
[00:48:25] wouldn't want floating around either um so we get uh we get uh 616 in LA uh directly after euphoria
[00:48:35] where he drops that infamous uh back-to-back line and also insinuates that um that maybe drake
[00:48:41] didn't write back-to-back and now I I know a lot of people became drake fans because of his uh
[00:48:49] because of the like the antics around back-to-back right like there were there were people who liked
[00:48:53] him as an artist but that was like when he decided like oh no that's when he showed people he's a
[00:48:56] rapper like drake could get out there with people like meek meal and and really get grimy when it
[00:49:02] needs to right and back-to-back is it's a bop it gets played in the club um that said if he
[00:49:07] didn't write it a lot of people are not loving that so there's more drama coming out about
[00:49:13] delight and uh whether he wrote it or not but my favorite thing about 616 in LA is that um
[00:49:19] it was produced by jack atedoff who uh was uh taylor swifts his ex um and so you know since uh
[00:49:26] kindrick wanted to bring up taylor swifts so much in the taylor may freestyle uh and how maybe
[00:49:31] i'm sorry when uh drake wanted to bring up taylor swifts so much in the taylor may
[00:49:35] freestyle maybe drake like no i'm good with taylor swifts camp actually um i'm sorry that's
[00:49:41] has nothing to do with me either so drake finally pops out and i'm telling you this is getting nasty
[00:49:47] y'all so i think i'm actually podcasting when this happens right i'm just minding my own business
[00:49:52] recording drake dropped something i'm bookmark it i'ma come back to that later we get family
[00:49:58] matters this is an eight-minute track y'all um where he's um i'm sorry yeah we get the
[00:50:05] family matters the eight-minute track where um he's suggesting that uh lamar's child is not his uh
[00:50:12] who's like hey maybe you're not even your own child like you know that kind of thing so the
[00:50:18] allegations are starting to run rampant at this point um he also talks about how kindrick lamar's
[00:50:24] wife is a mixed queen uh so kindrick loves throwing shots at drake for being white
[00:50:30] but they're starting to come back in his direction uh jazz were you a fan of family matters uh i think
[00:50:37] it was a really good response because that because he was going after a whole lot of people right
[00:50:48] we can't diss him on the on the future album yeah he was on here he was on the we don't
[00:50:52] trust you album that is correct oh okay all right but i was like dang come on you know
[00:50:58] but i think this was a very good response for sure it came out of nowhere because then by the time i
[00:51:05] realized it dropped kindrick dropped again so i was like whoa whoa whoa i was still podcasting
[00:51:13] i was still recording jazz i had to favorite them both i guess i'll listen to them back to back
[00:51:17] because what is that i had never happened before to where you have like this is dropping back to
[00:51:23] back this fast because i personally don't remember but i'm also not in tune it's a rap like y'all
[00:51:28] i would say the charlotte so yeah well this is this is definitely a different occurrence i mean
[00:51:33] but kindrick it just feels very premeditated and a lot of times diss tracks are what they exactly
[00:51:37] what they are you hear the song you hear you're mentioned and you're like i gotta go respond to
[00:51:41] it kindrick said back to back then he dropped two uh two mixed uh like two uh this is back to
[00:51:48] back then in one of those this is he says also some people on your team are working with me
[00:51:53] i'm just letting you know you got a mole and you'll never be able to get in front of me as
[00:51:57] a matter of fact i can anticipate everything you're about to do because i got somebody on the inside
[00:52:01] i'm inside your head boy and it happens so where when drake drops family matters before i even finish
[00:52:07] recording before i even exit the stream yard y'all meet the grams drops and he's addressing
[00:52:12] everything that drake already addressed in the village i was like what is happening that is
[00:52:16] so scary you think you have something fire and you just like i'm about to kill that bicker
[00:52:22] and then like he responds to everything 10 minutes later so in that he actually didn't right like he
[00:52:31] only thing he so i this is this is where the rumors really begin to spin right drake whatever drake
[00:52:40] was saying within that song like i said it's like i said he's addressing rocky um he's addressing
[00:52:45] abel which is weekend he misses whitney as well he he he get whitney he get metro again
[00:52:53] but of course the the the bulk of it was kindred within that record so because the conversation
[00:53:01] they had after like that it was a conversation no it was after push-ups it whatever it was
[00:53:08] the conversation that him and kindred had was keep the kids keep the family out of it
[00:53:13] that that point kindred made meet the grams he had already created that song because he was like
[00:53:19] this nigga gonna he gonna do some fuck shit i'm telling you he gonna do some fuck shit
[00:53:23] so i feel like at that point so this is where my this is where my mind comes within this battle
[00:53:28] it's not it's the whole thing i know what you're coming from as far with the play is cool
[00:53:31] it's not it's not that hard because if you if you listen to the song whenever drake dropped
[00:53:36] push-ups he mentioned my wife cool i like the conversations i already had you did it
[00:53:41] like i know but and i told you not to do it so i think at that point he made two songs one
[00:53:47] was it was just gonna be a little a cool record like i'm gonna get it drake because the fucking
[00:53:51] with me what what you know whatever that is but two if you mention my family i'm dropping
[00:53:56] the disrespectful record and i'm bringing out all the dirt i'm coming with i'm coming with
[00:54:00] this record so hadn't drake did it i think that record would have stayed away so as soon
[00:54:05] as he heard that record it was i it was all right he went to youtube
[00:54:12] no he didn't it was in private that bitch had been sitting in private
[00:54:16] for ever since six whatever that's six 16 in LA yeah it was it was in private it was
[00:54:25] unlisted he said what uh make it as a do it as a what in the album already going
[00:54:30] unleashed it motherfucker let it so yeah so within that he got ahead of whatever he got
[00:54:34] got ahead of whatever because if he think about this he had he didn't have that record
[00:54:40] and drake was able to drop the weekend would be about drake up until kindred drops again
[00:54:45] because at that point everybody like it's a it's a great record it's a great response drake and he
[00:54:51] pushed he going beyond the point he's ever been at but kindred stepped all over this shit and
[00:54:57] he went in on him and that was like and that wouldn't i could say as far as when it comes
[00:55:03] to drink kindred has never been battle tested before but as somebody who he may have been in
[00:55:07] this nigga is that nigga when it comes to he he's all over it when he's gonna drop four five records
[00:55:15] five records club record he got the the rapping record he got the i'm talking to your ass record
[00:55:22] like chill bro record the kindred jazz record yeah he got them all and now he now he's
[00:55:27] now he the boogie man ran down the street with the with the knife like okay since this is what
[00:55:30] you want to do this is what i'm going to do yeah family matters is when drake does mention whitney
[00:55:36] uh that is kindred's wife and he also that's when he alludes to kindred he says you put your hands
[00:55:42] on your girl it's self defense because she's bigger than you so not only are you calling
[00:55:45] you short but he's also saying that you be you be hitting women and that's not okay so again
[00:55:49] kindred has not addressed that um so these are all allegedly these are all you know
[00:55:54] but this could be true this very much can be true like i said that that one track where him
[00:55:57] and uh and homegirl are going back and forward on mr maral i was like that might be the proof we
[00:56:01] need it right there because um that was some toxic why would you include that you know what i'm saying
[00:56:06] like why is that on the album i i hear what you're saying but also that that's not a great
[00:56:10] look so i was like all right kindred what you're gonna do like i said i was still recording
[00:56:15] but then i get this notification and i see pictures of prescription bottles ozampic uh a lot of like a
[00:56:23] lot of shots being thrown drakes away because uh in meet the grams this is where um drake had been
[00:56:30] hiding his daughter jazz so i think i saw a tweet that said something like all the days all the drake
[00:56:36] this is our gender reveals yeah i re tweeted that that was oh that was you okay i was like i
[00:56:43] was like i think i saw you tweet that yeah i re tweeted it i didn't say it because i wish i did
[00:56:48] because that was hilarious right and then people started using the champagne uh poppy i think that's
[00:56:53] what the album was with all the emojis that was pregnant oh yeah the certified lover boy wasn't
[00:57:00] that it yeah that's what it was yeah certified it is oh man um yeah but yeah is it true so
[00:57:08] that had been kind of wild at 12 years old come on man but i did see a video where i think you had
[00:57:17] um tigger drake uh speaking about it on his podcast i don't know if it was recent or old
[00:57:23] and he was talking about the old a lady talking about she had got pregnant by drake and drake just
[00:57:28] boasted her i don't know how long ago that was yeah that's kind of wild if you got a 12 year old out there
[00:57:35] yeah um jayson this is not the first time that this has happened to drake um we got the story
[00:57:42] of adidas last time and hey man i don't know how to pronounce it adidun so he's got adidun
[00:57:53] okay that's what i thought i tried you know what i'm saying you call it what sneakers
[00:58:01] a story of puma you know it was it was it was it was based on the deed i mean the whole
[00:58:06] thing was based on the deed is i don't i'm gonna let you finish what you were saying and i
[00:58:10] i'll come back well that's the thing uh we've we've seen this before push a t-port this one out of his
[00:58:15] hat and it turns out that it was true drake was not only hiding his child from us but he was
[00:58:19] hiding us from his child you know and so um this time when it comes up it's easy to just assume
[00:58:25] that maybe there where there's smoke there's fire but it doesn't sound like you necessarily
[00:58:29] agree with this one i don't um so i in a situation like this right i don't think drake
[00:58:37] would allow that to happen again so but i'm gonna also say um when it comes to adonis
[00:58:45] it wasn't it was a secret but it wasn't a secret you know i mean it was like hallie in um the what's
[00:58:52] what's the little boy named dg yg no whatever his name is yeah whatever her baby daddy is um
[00:58:59] oh did you talk about did you see there we go i've been saying ddp whatever that little baby name is
[00:59:05] yeah that's diamond dollars don't so i'm thinking this is i'm i'm truly thinking it's the same exact
[00:59:11] situation if a if a woman was choosing to get pregnant and hide the pregnancy whatever it is
[00:59:18] for her celebrity whatever that may be on the internet that's her choice um but it's like
[00:59:24] when it's the guy who doesn't put that information out there for everybody to see then it can be it
[00:59:29] will become a problem and now drake was about to bring that information out to let everybody know
[00:59:36] hey i have a child um but he he was he was yes because jas you you were you were in the joe
[00:59:45] button group chat with me and what should he came out and said oh he was there to everybody
[00:59:51] but i told him first like he like i like i stepped on the roll out like he jumped in front of that
[00:59:58] situation and it was intentional because his homeboy was pillow talking i would have fired 40
[01:00:05] that's where the real issue come from his engineer fire 40 40 took a lot of shots in that this as well
[01:00:11] it was it was a bad week for 40 i'm supposed to be accepting of you pillow talking to a chick
[01:00:16] no you gotta cut him off yeah i'm just tell him nothing right yeah he came out of the secret
[01:00:24] yeah um 40 got cooked too so he got he got what was he got he got some words thrown his way but
[01:00:29] yeah the daughter conversation is very interesting when it comes to drake because like i said we've
[01:00:33] seen it before um but i mean push your teeth made some accusations of drake regarding the daughter
[01:00:37] in that i mean in the sun uh that uh not only was he hiding him but he was also keeping him
[01:00:43] outside of the borders you know he's like hey you also like you can't come visit a dear old dad in
[01:00:48] united states you know what i'm saying so there were other layers to those accusations that made it
[01:00:53] uh make it a very funny moment but also one of drake's defining moments probably in his career jason
[01:00:58] but i do have a question like do you think it would have played out the same you thinking
[01:01:04] if she's 12 all those years ago yeah like when he had been moving the same way because it's
[01:01:11] just like oh my career's taken off like i can't be dealing with this woman over here with this
[01:01:16] kid that she may or may not be mine so was he about to was he about to reveal this one too jason
[01:01:23] is that what they say no no no no no so with this situation here again there's rumors right
[01:01:28] there's rumors that surrounding all these situations so they say you know kentrick
[01:01:32] lemar dropped his cover it was the it was the glove on the screen like oh my god this
[01:01:37] nigga for to go oj sentin on my boy he fit a kill this nigga like that i'm like no no i don't know
[01:01:44] i don't know what if you do but not drake no not like not like this not like this
[01:01:52] i'm if you go if you can go in on kentrick lemar instagram right now i say not the oj gloves
[01:01:57] so this time it fit it does so then you get you get the picture so the picture the rumor
[01:02:08] the academics is pushing that it came from a suit it was his father's suitcase of stuff
[01:02:13] that drake had in it but there was a second rumor which i more so would agree with the
[01:02:19] drake would have to drake is the one that has to um to put this up allegedly he know who the
[01:02:24] mold is and he i don't believe this one yeah so i don't force me the information to him about the
[01:02:30] kid so in the second and the kid that he calls out is the kid in the video that drake in the family
[01:02:36] matters video the kid that he was talking about is in that video but then he's saying like the
[01:02:41] the stuff that was an actual suitcase was it was actually little jokes that he was putting that
[01:02:46] about the people that he is distant so there's like a there's there's the ring that he bought
[01:02:51] that it's the same ring that witty wears there's the the neck the short the shorty the shorty t-shirt
[01:02:56] which is a joke about kentrick lemar you got those zimpik that allegedly is what was him
[01:03:01] cracking jokes at rick ross and then there's there's one more thing in there supposedly the
[01:03:05] picture is like i said all of it is rumors that nothing nothing nothing has been confirmed
[01:03:10] kentrick lemar also didn't use this when he officially released the music it is on youtube
[01:03:17] but when he officially released it on streams he took that picture out of it
[01:03:21] they say it's because it's illegal to put people's things but you can you can you can blur out you
[01:03:27] you can blur out all of that shit and there wouldn't have been no problems to blur out any of that
[01:03:31] stuff that's what you if that was if that's what it was but he also got receipts and all
[01:03:36] that information but now drake came out right after the song he was like bro if i got the
[01:03:40] kid who if you if you got a 12 year old kid bring it to me but all I'm gonna say is
[01:03:45] within that drake did talk about on nothing was the same about the allegations he said a woman
[01:03:50] I have to I have to go take the paternity test even if the kid isn't mine because a woman requested it
[01:03:55] so he was going through he was going through those cases of DNA to go back and do that
[01:04:00] and him you know him and rocky was they they was allegedly in a threesome when a
[01:04:05] doness was created and he had the DNA testing that's that's the rumor behind it like that's
[01:04:09] that's where um you know he came that's not know he came from literally but yeah that's
[01:04:14] we that's that's where a doness allegedly was a spawned um
[01:04:23] that was gonna have a story to tell when he's growing
[01:04:30] I mean kid Kendra gave it to him
[01:04:32] look
[01:04:32] look look so
[01:04:38] what so when I said he was my son he was Goku people say no
[01:04:44] yeah look when we the grams happen um yeah because it I probably yeah we'll get to that
[01:04:49] when we the grounds happen they immediately are coming out the gate talking about each other's
[01:04:53] family like you know um Kendrick is talking about the daughter and the children and all this
[01:04:58] other stuff like it's crazy um I believe the line was get some discipline don't cut some corners
[01:05:03] like your daddy did fuck what ozampic did don't pay to play with them Brazilians go to get a gym
[01:05:07] membership the bb l allegations jazz are just wild because it's not just abs people are specifically
[01:05:15] like Drake winning got his ass did y'all
[01:05:34] I don't know Drake why would you need to get why would I do need to get a bb
[01:05:40] it you know what let me my black business right look none of my business again all allegedly
[01:05:46] but that is not the end of the story y'all now people have been very critical of both sides the
[01:05:52] Drake stands are standing 10 toes down the Kendrick stands are standing 10 toes down the j Cole
[01:05:56] stands are sneaking in like a little bit they close not amiss
[01:06:00] you
[01:06:05] you body on all business you see a random tweet like j Cole was right like girl he is not we
[01:06:09] not talking about him we're talking about rappers I'm so excited about rappers j Cole fans stands
[01:06:15] whatever the dreamers uh whatever y'all
[01:06:19] yes
[01:06:24] what's my j Cole what's my y'all just proving two things he a bitch uh he's being not that lethal
[01:06:30] allegedly allegedly allegedly um please don't get these comments be like i'm j Cole's cousin
[01:06:35] like I don't know y'all so anyway listen not like us drops and this is the one because like I said
[01:06:41] the internet is critical of both sides the Drake stands are standing 10 toes but it's getting
[01:06:46] wobbly the the foundation is shaking the Kendrick fans are like this is what Kendrick does but there's
[01:06:51] one criticism that Kendrick always gets like anybody listening to this in the club we're not
[01:06:56] no one's gonna be jamming this alien jazz music that he be dropping nobody want to hear that
[01:07:01] and then you hear not like us and you just
[01:07:08] I instantly thought I was in the bay y'all here a little day out here a little step and they be doing
[01:07:13] yeah
[01:07:22] Hey uh I then it is Drake is getting his head beating by so many of the biggies biggies
[01:07:28] big is producers right now oh my god they coming with the coat the coat they never made no beasties
[01:07:34] cold they come in like you find Drake Drake i'm throwing this motherfucker over here
[01:07:39] they said Ethanos is one b20 it's Thanos and we all gotta pull up we jump
[01:07:47] Dr. Drake out what a beat for for Kendrick
[01:07:51] I don't know this many people hating you though that means you gotta be a real villain though right
[01:07:59] I mean maybe that's probably more than likely more than likely
[01:08:05] Thanos like I love you yeah nobody was jumping in like okay y'all a little too hard on Thanos
[01:08:12] you know like uh no go for the head you know um so Dr. Drake I saw like you know no disrespect
[01:08:19] please don't don't ruin my life because I you beat women and people and all kinds of stuff so leave
[01:08:22] me out of this allegedly uh leave me out of this fuck that we talking making these we also
[01:08:28] making these pedo allegations when somebody was actually convicted and arrested for sexual
[01:08:35] on Kendrick's album and narrating it involved all the way around it so it's just a lot of these
[01:08:42] things are like spider-man memes yeah a lot of everything is like oh no you did oh you did a
[01:08:46] lot of these shit is dead a lot of that's a j. colan didn't he say that him and Drake
[01:08:50] would like spider-man memes let's start the investigation start the investigation now so
[01:08:56] not even 24 hours after releasing meet the grams Kendrick had more to say or not like us
[01:09:01] the the beat rides it's just so good but I mean he come out the gate heard you like I'm young
[01:09:08] you know I'm like who he tells at this point at this point Kendrick you're a part of the problem
[01:09:14] now on top of this big thing now hear me out on top of what Jason does say
[01:09:19] if you know all of this it's your responsibility call the police because this man said no he said
[01:09:25] LeBron keep your family away from this man Steph keep your family away from this man the
[01:09:30] children are not safe trying to strike a chord and it's in a minor a minor a minor chord in the song
[01:09:39] in the key of minor like bro i was like at least your keys just flinched somewhere jazz as she what
[01:09:42] what what happened either right she just jumped in the piano just landed her lap
[01:09:49] bruh it was so good this song here yeah please yeah I think the DJ is probably gonna leave
[01:09:58] out that first part you can't be having the club so I heard you like I'm young you gotta
[01:10:02] skip that and go to the next one right just jump into the chorus or whatever oh the hell you know
[01:10:08] like that's that's kind of where you're gonna find me at the oh the oh
[01:10:11] so when you came in here I'm talking about like he goes to Atlanta to get a check
[01:10:17] like I'm just uh listen the the colonizer accusations are strong okay the ultimately
[01:10:27] Drake gets a lot he gets a lot of praise but then in these in these moments he gets a lot
[01:10:33] of shots going his way because they accuse Drake of basically hopping from town to town culture
[01:10:38] to culture vibe to vibe curating a little fan base there and then going somewhere else and
[01:10:43] doing the same thing and that's why he's such a massive star there's probably some truth to
[01:10:46] it but again like Jason said a lot of y'all rappers were okay with it you know whether
[01:10:51] he was in the club with Future Young Thug uh the 21 Savage era he has he's had an error
[01:10:59] with each of these people and now they all kind of like but we don't really like you like that so
[01:11:04] it's kind of like okay well since when and also it what why now you know I'm saying what changed
[01:11:09] to where now uh like you said Jazz the snake is now against you right because you was fine when
[01:11:14] that snake was chilling with you but now all of a sudden it's not okay for all this stuff to
[01:11:19] be happening and like I said with Kendrick if you knew all this stuff it's time to call the police
[01:11:22] like at some point we need to start investigating into this you can't just lie like this this is this
[01:11:26] is liable slander all all of the above but I mean when it comes to these people right
[01:11:35] if it ain't about a woman what is it really about right like I'm I'm like that's that's my
[01:11:40] only thing when it comes to any of these people like the weekend him and weekend they were
[01:11:46] close to a certain to a certain extent but then there was there's been shots back and forth with
[01:11:51] them to even have to take a shot for me like they're like as weekend wrote he did write some records
[01:11:56] on like like four or five records on take care like that that's that's that's known um like he
[01:12:03] got those records and he redid them like weekend is a girl we know Rocky is about a girl uh we know
[01:12:10] Ross is about a woman so outside of that like the people in LA are just offending the LA person
[01:12:17] so we understand what that what that hate comes from but outside of that like what who else is really
[01:12:22] into that situation that isn't him about a woman yeah I mean Drake just be moving nasty I mean
[01:12:29] whether it's about a woman or not you know it still comes down to they don't like the way this man
[01:12:33] works you know when it comes to Rick Ross I don't think it's really about a woman I mean it is
[01:12:38] about a woman in a way but I think I think ultimately a lot of these bridges have been getting
[01:12:42] burnt for a while and like like he's good with you until he's not and at that point you're able to see
[01:12:47] oh I didn't really like all that stuff but I was using him for the benefit of it's Drake right
[01:12:52] you Drake you put Drake on the track like many of these people he gonna give you your number one
[01:12:57] hit jake hold number one hit from Drake Rick Ross several number ones I believe um
[01:13:03] um it's no coincidence so it's like yeah it's fine when I'm profiting off of it or when it's
[01:13:09] been official to me but at what point do I have to just draw the line and say no this is a horrible
[01:13:14] person and nobody should be working with him uh again the pedophile allegations are wild and it's
[01:13:20] not just like that's not something you joke about is this true or not Kendrick I need an
[01:13:23] official statement jazz jazz no I definitely agree and it's just like you when you make
[01:13:30] allegations like that when it comes to somebody being a pedophile sex offender all of those things
[01:13:35] and abuse or you need to make sure you have facts that back that stuff up like not nobody's
[01:13:39] sending you a text oh I know he did this all right let me go to the studio and make something off
[01:13:43] of that information you just gave me through a text no you got to have like solid proof because
[01:13:49] that whole he says she says I'm sorry I'm not basing a diss off of that because once it
[01:13:55] comes out that oh you ain't know what the hell you was talking about your credibility is
[01:14:00] done and if you're trying to say you at the top it's just like you got to fact check your stuff
[01:14:05] and so it's wild because I remember I saw somebody tweet they was just like okay well Drake talking
[01:14:10] about how Kendrick is putting hands on his wife but you also shouted out Chris Brown as well
[01:14:16] and then with Kendrick he was talking about how um Drake was on some pedophile type of stuff
[01:14:23] but you also did a song with Kodak Black so it's like you calling somebody out out for some behavior
[01:14:30] and then you're working with somebody that does similar types of activities yeah so pot meat kettle
[01:14:38] yeah and only one of them and look pot meat I mean you know Kendrick would never call Drake back
[01:14:44] so just like that's not really the analogy it's gonna work for me
[01:14:47] yeah again it's he could have done it
[01:14:55] it's whatever it's whatever narrative I want to run with and then and I don't I don't
[01:15:02] and as far as when it comes to Drake being nasty we also seen what the industry was
[01:15:06] from the 90s to 2010 with the other man that was that that was running how many people benefited
[01:15:14] from him until it was no longer beneficial yeah and also did he
[01:15:22] so I nigga 1990 to 2024
[01:15:28] allegedly allegedly and I wish and I wish Drake and I drew I wish Drake would have kept their line
[01:15:33] in push-ups on the leaked version he said you know you was hanging out with you and uh
[01:15:39] because you know him and him and did it on they're not they're not good so yeah that was I
[01:15:44] wish he would have kept that line in there like keep that nigga keep the nigga aligned with Ditty
[01:15:47] keep Ross aligned with him I don't think I don't think uh yeah I don't think that's good I don't
[01:15:52] think I think Drake needs to keep Diddy out of his yeah keep that away I don't think because
[01:15:56] I think if Diddy gonna throw throw somebody under the bus Drake you might be next in line
[01:16:00] so you let you let Diddy do his thing it might be but they don't but they don't like each
[01:16:03] other now I'm they don't which that's what I'm saying that's the fuel that did he that's all the fuel
[01:16:07] Diddy needs did did he allegedly try to blow up Kid Cudi car remember this like yeah allegedly yeah
[01:16:14] not trying to I'm sorry blew up his car yeah so um I said the hound Walea they he pulled a big
[01:16:22] rid on Walea and had him hanging over the off the side of a building we all know he slapped Drake
[01:16:27] in the club and I mean like these things happen and they're witnesses I think he beat up J. Cole
[01:16:33] too but I think it was because of Kendrick like he was trying to get at Kendrick and J. Cole why
[01:16:37] why didn't Drake bring that up like it's so much it's so many that I can make a diss with you
[01:16:41] I don't know maybe avoiding maybe avoiding some of these points because they don't want that that
[01:16:45] backlash you know again we should love Kendrick alone who pissed on Drake right one of ti uh
[01:16:53] it's one of ti one of ti con boys in them in the movie theater because somebody was just like
[01:16:59] okay Drake got peed on and then people in the comments was like man I had for like 10 years ago
[01:17:05] people get peed on every day be I'm like wait yeah that was that was kind of wild because
[01:17:11] I'm at first I'm like I mean he was he was in the bathroom drunk they're like no his
[01:17:16] nigga was sitting in his seat and he peed and he was just drunk he just thought peeing down the aisle
[01:17:21] ain't got on his leg the Venn diagram between Drake and R. Kelly is almost a circle at this
[01:17:26] point with these allegations I'm just saying um we just they go to shower behavior listen
[01:17:33] the allegations are out there y'all um but that is our that is our timeline that brings us to where
[01:17:40] we are right now in the Drake and Kendrick really Drake versus the world at this point because
[01:17:46] they come from all sides it's the Avengers versus versus standouts it's um it's the the
[01:17:53] Dragon Balls beat people versus Cell we jump niggas that's what we do and they make it
[01:17:59] the uh what's it Metro he dropped the drop the beat now you got the now you got the word or
[01:18:02] hashtag and using this beat to talk about it's called like BBL beat free free beat giveaway
[01:18:09] it's not that's not even a catchy hashtag that is what you talk about this beat and also
[01:18:13] who does the best beat about Drake.
[01:18:18] I was like
[01:18:25] I do have a question for y'all though since everybody is going against Drake if my
[01:18:29] face will steal out today who is going to be in Drake's top six friends. Oh it's just
[01:18:36] no Drake down to the top one it's just gonna be him and Jesus or something like that like he not
[01:18:40] gonna he at this point he gotta shut down you gotta close the bounds close the borders like
[01:18:45] you did for Adonis allegedly you know I'm saying like just shut it down don't let because you don't
[01:18:49] know where the leak is coming from Jazz like you can't just put anybody in your top six right now
[01:18:53] because God knows tomorrow it could be another track from a random person because we ain't even
[01:18:59] seeing what April's response gonna be what the weekend about to do you know I'm saying we don't
[01:19:02] know. Weekend better go better lead that man alone. Yeah um right now I think right now is when
[01:19:07] you get him you know he's he's busy he's occupied now. He won't be getting that on me. Yeah right
[01:19:14] like why are you addressing me when you out here getting these pedified allegations what you're
[01:19:17] talking about what's really going on I think this might when you when you sneak Drake you
