But anyways, we are here to talk about the Elimination Chamber. Enough of footing around. Let's get into it. My God. The Elimination Chamber was held in Toronto.

[00:07:35] And we are so fortunate that Grace was actually able to attend both SmackDown and Elimination Chamber. Grace, can you give us your quick thoughts about being in the audience? I know you're. I can hear that. Your voice is kind of. Little. Yeah. Yeah. You know what? Actually, you know, I go to a lot of indie shows. And I'm a little bit like starting chance. And getting. You are. That was.

[00:08:00] That does not happen at a SmackDown show in an Elimination Chamber. Stadium is the size of this. It's like even one chance will happen. And like nobody can get, you know, in sync with each other. Yeah. Nobody wanted to sing. I wanted to sing. Oh, Fatu, we love you. Like, oh, Fatu, we love you. And I tried and nobody would do it. Like literally not a single. Wow. I know. And I thought that would be so fun, but nobody's doing it. I'm sorry.

[00:08:30] The shows were really fun. SmackDown, you know, TV and like a pay-per-view. They're very different because the TV show, there's so much like commercial time that you're like sort of like sitting and waiting for things to happen. And three hours is a long time for like a television show. But she was really good. There's like a stacked full of like great matches. And I thought the stories were pretty good. And then Elimination Chamber was super fun. It was at the Rogers Center, which is where previously known as the Sky Dome, which were the Toronto Blue Jays play.

[00:09:00] So a full stadium show, which we have not had a wrestling show there since WrestleMania X eight. I believe. WrestleMania. Wow. Yeah. So more than 20 years. So super fun. The crowd was pretty lively. I do feel like the thing right now is WWE is so good at stories and moments. I mean, wrestling is like just like very good as well. Just like from a baseline.

[00:09:26] But like there are so many singular moments that that that happened in Elimination Chamber that like the crowd was just eating up because it's like really good. I'm excited to talk through all of it. So I feel like storyline wise, I think WWE is its best. It's it's been in a very long time. Yeah, I always I really feel like oftentimes like Toronto just has something something special going on with wrestling.

[00:09:52] Like so many of the shows, at least from my time as a fan over the last couple of decades, like I feel like Toronto shows typically hit pretty hard or they have really big moments, but we'll get into this show. Because I swear I couldn't hear any of the chanting, but I really am bad at making out the chanting. I'm always like James. But like I don't know. Medium shows are hard because like basically like a section can try to get a chant going.

[00:10:19] And then by the time you're doing it, like some other section way over there has also I'm sure you get you. You folks are at WrestleMania. Yeah, when we were at WrestleMania. It's the same where it's like this is awesome. Chan is kind of happening, but it's happening like not in sync over the course of like 12 sections, you know. So at WrestleMania, we were just all trying not to freeze to death. So it was a health situation. Mari, how's your lawsuit going against the arena? I know, right?

[00:10:48] Not because I could not afford a lawyer. So I just had to drop it. That's how they get you. Exactly. But that's great. Okay. Oh, yeah. No, that is so great. I wish I could have been there. I should I should say, I was actually planning on going to Elimination Chamber because I was like, I need to for a while. I've been trying to get to Toronto and then it's like Elimination Chamber is there. And I was like, actually ready to go.

[00:11:15] And then I was like, I can't I can't do this on top of work travels in life. So, you know, it's fine. I'm pissed. It would have been great to be there, but we'll talk about why it would have been great. Yeah, I think I saw one. I think it's probably one of the wildest like moments I've ever seen live. Certainly. A lot. A lot of them, though, I feel like. Yeah, true. But I mean, so we open the show with the Women's Elimination Chamber.

[00:11:42] And let me just where do we start? Let me just say because I love whenever whenever I'm watching a pay-per-view, I love a good like pay-per-view and food. Right. Right. So I decided to get it for people who may not know. In Maryland, we love crabs. We love whole crabs up here. We love crab legs. I decided I was like, I want to I want some crabs. I want to eat some crabs and watch wrestling like jingling, yingling. You know, I want I want some crabs, beer, wrestling. Right.

[00:12:13] Crabs, beer and wrestling. The perfect combination. That's weird. I have that shirt. Yes. We need to make we need to make a wrestling kickback version of that. You should. Crabs, beer and wrestling. And so I'm like, I have gloves on. Be a wrestler. I have my gloves on. I'm breaking my whole crabs up. I'm like, I'm ready for this Women's Elimination Chamber.

[00:12:34] When I tell you when when it has to have a big Maryland flag on it, like we're the side. If you don't know us Marylanders, we like we love our flag. Our flag is the most weirdest thing, but we love it. Oh, look at that. That is quick with it. Yes. That's the Maryland flag. It should be. Wow. That thing is what that flag is wild.

[00:13:04] That's the Maryland state food. It's crabs. In case you don't know the Maryland state flag, it looks like a race race track flag. Like it's all the colors like red and yellow and but like the black and the white. But you really look like you're about to race someone. We are weirdly proud of our flag. Like if you come to Maryland, our flag is on everything. And it's just because we love it. And it's so weird. It's so unique. So we we put the Maryland flag crabs beer wrestling on it anyway.

[00:13:32] So I'm just eating my crabs. I'm trying to keep it cute. The baby is in her her seat eating her blueberries. I don't know what my son is doing. So ridiculous. On the sofa eating his crap. So we're just in there. And I'm like, OK, women's elimination chamber. All right. All right. Naomi live about to start it. Cool. Cool. Cool. So Jay comes out, which they did that.

[00:14:00] I don't like the camera angle because I couldn't again. I can't hear the sound system. So we're looking at Liz's face. I'm like, who's coming? Like, who's coming? And then when they finally like flash to Jade and it finally got to her part of her song where I was like, oh, I know this part. I was like, oh, Jade. And I was like, OK, OK, OK, OK. I was like, she's going to hit Naomi. I said to myself, you know how you say it to yourself, but you're like, not sure. And she says, what? I tell you, I jumped up.

[00:14:28] I had fistful of crabs. I was like, yeah, Jade. My husband is like, you are scaring the baby. The baby starts crying. I'm like yelling at the top of my lungs. I'm like, oh, my God. Like, it was a scene at my house. This was cinema. This was cinema. Not a fistful of crabs. Your fistful of crabs. Baby is scared. Like, she's like, what is happening?

[00:14:58] But because literally, she was, I wish I got on camera. She was, she was dancing to Naomi's music. Like, whenever Naomi comes out, she dances to Naomi's music. Yeah. And so, like, I am just, I can't stop screaming. I'm like, I'm like yelling. I'm trying not to yell cuss words because, again, my son is over there. So I'm like, oh, my God. And Yonka is in the pod just crying. High drama. Yeah.

[00:15:28] Oh, my gosh. No. This moment, Matt. Oh, my God. This is like the peak moment for me. Well, it's hard. I think the rest of the chamber was good. Yeah. No, it was great. It was great. But like, when you start this strong, you're like, let's not even have Jade enter mid-match. Like, we're just going to get right to it. Because, you know. That rest just kept the door open for her. I was like, aren't you supposed to, like, at least try and give her out?

[00:15:54] Well, but you saw at first when I watched it, I was like, oh, Jade. It looked to me like Jade slipped going in and, like, grabbed the door. But I was like, no, no, no. He was, like, kind of pantomiming, closing the door. And then she was like, no, no, no. And holding the door. I didn't even think. I just saw him with the door open just staring at me. I mean, I didn't see the door moving. He kind of was. But she grabbed the door to stop it. Anyway, no, this was high cinema.

[00:16:20] I mean, Jade, first and foremost, in, like, the all black, wet hair look. Vengeance in her eyes. That hair was nice. But it was so beautiful just to see her come in. And Naomi's just standing there. And I love the moment that Naomi, you know, Jade steps into the ring. And Naomi, like, looks behind her at Bianca for some reason. And then she turns on it. She just gets blasted in the face. That was wild.

[00:16:49] That's what Naomi should. Because I was wondering how Naomi was going to be screwed in this match. And this was how. And this was the best way possible. But, you know, just to point it out, like, peak experience was Bianca. High cinema. I mean, you even kind of see her. She has, like, the damsel in distress hair going with the little curls. And that scream. Give her an Oscar, an Emmy, a Grammy, a Tony. Give it all to her for this. All of it.

[00:17:19] It was so good. How did that? Oh, God. Our owner, Chappelle. Yes, our owner, Chappelle. Look at that. Yes. The final boss, Chappelle. The final boss, yes. The final boss. Chappelle Belair. Which, honestly, no complaints. Yeah. No, no. How did it play in the arena, Grace? Oh, it was really good.

[00:17:45] I mean, I think there was a general sense last night before. You could kind of feel it. Actually, I also went. Matt was supposed to come with me. But I went to another podcast. I watched a live podcast called Inside with Klush Van Vliet. He had Natty on, but he did a pre-show Q&A. And he was talking about, he's like, everyone was sort of expecting. They're like, I think someone asked, like, what do you think is the match that, or who's

[00:18:13] the person you think is most likely to come back between Jade or Randy? And he was like, I kind of think both are coming back. And so, like, I think both. We knew that Jade in some way would probably return at least around this time. Maybe it wasn't, like, necessarily guaranteed to be last night. But then the way they did it, where they start, like, it's like, okay, we're pretty pumped up because, like, and a big difference, I think, with before SmackDown, they taped one match for WWE Speed, like on Twitter or X.

[00:18:43] But that was it for, like, a pre-show. And for before Elimination Chamber, they didn't do any pre-show matches. Now, they don't do any matches on the show or whatever. And so you're just, like, ready for the thing to start. Yeah, yeah. And so they do all the entrances. And then we booed the American National Anthem and Pat McAfee got really mad. Yes. And then we cheered the Canadian National Anthem. And then, so, like, the entrances are happening. You're geared up. And then it's like, oh, there's one more. Like, it felt like, okay, there's one more. And I think the crowd kind of, I think, more so than on TV.

[00:19:13] I do think that's, like, one of the things about WWE, I think I've really felt this watching Royal Rumble, is that the, like, gap between you either have an amazing entrance music where it's, like, singable and, like, we love it. Or it's, like, the worst music you've ever heard and you can't tell who's about to come out. Right. But I think most people felt like, oh, that's it. And then, and it was, you know, depending on where you were in the stadium, the, it's not like an elevated ramp. So it can be quite hard to see. Actually, the guy was diving.

[00:19:40] It took four entrances for him to be like, oh, they're coming out over there. Yeah, bro. We're the big side. But, like, it is a little hard to see. So Jade coming out and, like, I feel like that kicking off the show. Again, it's epitome of, like, this is the best storytelling era of WWE we've been in, like, I think maybe ever, but at least, like, a long, long, long time. So it was dope. And the moment of setting it up so that Jade hits Naomi right in front of Bianca locked in the pod is, like, so good.

[00:20:10] It's so good. Yeah. And the fact, and the fact that Bianca was trapped in the pod and could not get out. Yeah. Which is amazing. I mean, I would have looked at you. You know, to, like, try and get on the pod. Or even just be like, what's going on? Because I watched, I did watch the post show or a little bit of the post show. And she's talking about it. And she's basically saying, like, I haven't spoken with Naomi. I haven't spoken with Jade. I don't know what's going on. So she had to take her glasses off for that, too. She had to get the. I was like, the waterworks are coming.

[00:20:42] I know. That's my actress. I'm like, oh, she's. No, I was like, she's wearing the glasses. I like to help her with her acting with her. We're Teresa and Nemo. The other thing I think about this, that I think is really strong is that I feel like there's a way, what I think that this does is this story is, it's a story. It's like a very, you know, and I think there was a little bit of being like, oh, we're really, Jade got attacked in the parking lot. Who did it? And like, we stretched it out for a bit.

[00:21:42] I kind of love it, too. But I think that the piece of this, too, is I actually kind of feel like the, if you look at like the, actually, there was a lot of wrestlers wearing white glasses. A lot of the women wore white. But Naomi in white and Jade in, like, the way that this, it was done was like, it's kind of like a, it's a heel turn for Naomi, I think. Yes. But in a way where she is like being beat up. It's like the reveal of, I did it. Like the typical way you would do this,

[00:22:11] like the one example I could think of with Triple H is where Shawn Michaels got attacked. This is in 2002. Yeah. And then Triple H is revealed to be the attacker. In a parking lot. It is in a parking lot. And Triple H, like sort of the reveal of like, yeah, and this is why I did it. This moment is such a, like, this sets up Naomi, I think with her character to be, I know, much more like snivelly and a little bit, obviously she was able to like, do what she did to Jade. But it's, I feel like this moment is so good because I want to see

[00:22:41] what happens next. Like, I want to, exactly. I had that moment, but now I want to see how does, how does Naomi like, explain it? How does, how does Bianca react to her reaction? How does Jade, how do Jade and Bianca interact? Like, they're so, it's so, so strong. It's so good because it left, it left the last impression. It left so many questions. Bianca's follow-up was really good too because Bianca's like, I don't, I don't know what happened. So they can go any way with it.

[00:23:11] And Naomi so, so well. I was like, stop murdering her Jade. But then I was also like, but does she do it? Like, so good. But anyways, but I say that to say like, they can go any way with this now. Like on Monday, they could be like, Bianca could be like, Naomi, what's going on? Did you attack her? And Naomi could still, if she wants to be like, no, I didn't, you know, still, you know, or she can turn it up and be like, yes, I did. What y'all are going to do about it? Like you can kind of, you can kind of go whichever way.

[00:23:41] And honestly, they don't even have to wait they don't have to do Monday because they could wait till, I don't, I'm so confused on which brand everybody is on right now. But like that, that beat down was good enough that if they want to hold it for a week or two, like it could be a while before Naomi comes back or we just get Bianca and Jade talking and then Naomi comes out of nowhere and beats Jane up. Like they have so many avenues they can do from this moment. And I just can't wait to see what they do.

[00:24:11] But I like this. I like, uh, just Joseph in the chat mentions like, I'm still 50-50. Did Naomi do it or was Jade pissed off that the Judgment Day are the first three-time women's champions or like even the world of like is Jade turning against Naomi because Naomi lost the championships? Like there's so many different ways they could go with it. But I mean, I love that we know in our hearts that Naomi's evil. I love that people were cheering.

[00:24:40] I love that the fans were giving the nah, nah, nah. No, no, no, no. You deserved it. I said not too much on my sister, y'all. Not too much on my sister. I get it, but not too much. Yeah, you feel like they kind of didn't, they kind of were too ready for that. A little too ready. Maybe uncomfortable. I mean, my one piece of like, WWE has broken my heart too many times to not, is that what I really want

[00:25:10] Naomi versus Jade to happen at WrestleMania. And it's so cool because you start to like the talent that this, the roster has and you start to like build out a card of like seven to eight matches per night and you start to be like, uh, I don't like, like what are, what you think, like what is WWE going to like cut from that card? But I really do want, I do want that. I also agree. I want Naomi to be, you know, mostly because I find it's very hard to imagine what heel Naomi kind of like, like look, look like, I feel like she's so rootable.

[00:25:40] The glow in the dark gimmick feels so baby face. It's like, what is the heel version of Naomi look like? So that's kind of fun. I've always said it team bad version of Naomi was always like my, one of my favorite versions of her, mostly because it was rooted in truth. She kept saying, I kept, I'm getting overlooked. You know, I've been out here, I've been doing this. Y'all keep overlooking me and, you know, she could kind of go back to that well because when she stepped in for the,

[00:26:10] with the tag teams, she had, you know, take me back. Um, but when she had stepped into the tag team division to help Bianca keep the, um, championships, remember she was doing her solo stuff. Like we did the WrestleMania stuff and then Bianca and Jade went on to be tag teams and Naomi was the singles competitor working Bayley and then getting caught up with Anaya and Tiffany of it all. So it was around the time that Naomi left

[00:26:40] the, the title, the singles title, um, like cue there that, oh, you know, Jade gets attacked. Now let me, let me step in for it and help. So it's like, she can always just say like, I wanted a place here and I made it. Like, like there's just so many ways you could go and Naomi is just so good. So you're right. And she's so rootable. Like is the amazing like heel, you know, that I loved her like heel amazing, um,

[00:27:10] theme song. I was so mad when they changed it. So I don't know. But I feel like even just like, there's just so much about her, like give us like the big extravagant robes, like maybe less glowing, but I mean, you could glow and be a heel, I guess, but she's, she, I just want to see what heel Naomi is like in 2025 because she's grown so much as a wrestler. We really saw that in impact wrestling slash TNA

[00:27:39] for about a year. And that was amazing to be able to see her be free. And then she came back and we stopped, we still got to see the glow, but there's just so much potential and I just want her to truly be bad. Like I want her to be evil. I want her to beat up Bianca. I want her to beat everyone up. And you know what, if I don't think this will happen, but where's Tamina? Like bring Tamina out. I was kind of thinking of that too, like her, yeah, her bodyguard. Um, but like also

[00:28:09] like we can get a lot of matches between Bianca and Bianca, Naomi and Jade where it's like, Naomi has to use her veteran walls against the rookie. Like they could do so many good like in-ring storytelling. It's like Naomi has to counter Jade's power. Like the, the in-ring storytelling could be really good as well. So we will see. And like Grace said, I really hope they, they carve out a spot on the card for them because Naomi has been cut from WrestleMania cards

[00:28:38] so many times in her career. It's insane. insane. And it pisses me off that the women have to fight for a non-title match on WrestleMania. So, um, we will see. Uh, again, I just want to reiterate, I scared my whole entire house. Were you screaming like Bianca? Ah! I was, I was screaming.

[00:29:08] I had, you know, I was like, oh, this is some good shit, talking mushrooms. Like, I was like, trying not to curse. It was hilarious. James was like, I need you to call me out. I was like, never! Um, but anyways. He needs to, he needs to step it up. Come on. Yeah, amp it up. Yeah. but yeah, so then the rest of the elimination It was a match, yeah. It was a good match. Uh, Joseph in the chat says it basically became a five-woman

[00:29:38] elimination chamber match. Honestly, that's all we, we need it to be quite honest. Um, because going into it, a lot of people thought Bianca was going to win. I thought adding that little bit of doubt of like that emotional turmoil for her that it could not be her was good. You didn't, I didn't, I didn't think the match suffered for only being five women. And, and honestly, the only woman you would want to put in there like EO is going to be fighting for the championship tomorrow. Like, so it,

[00:30:07] like to me, I was fine with it. Um, it's too convoluted to be like, and then we'll add this other person who was just going to lose. Yeah. but then I, but you know what? And then so, and then it is like Bailey and Roxanne Perez who are in there and I'm like, okay, I feel bad because it's kind of like, like y'all are in

[00:31:06] there to fight each other. It was great. Bailey ends up going out first, I believe. Right. If I remember, uh, that feels, that sounds right. That sounds right. I'm pretty sure it was Bailey. Yeah. yeah. And then, and then Roxanne get Roxanne Perez. She gets like hit with like the triple, uh, she gets it. Well, like everybody's finishers, which I love when people do that to like kind of protect somebody and she goes out and we do end with like, um,

[00:31:36] Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss, and Bianca Belair. And I'm like, you know me, I was like, Alexa Bliss, fine, whatever. I'm just kidding. But it's what. It's a, I'm, it's not her time. It's not her time. Yeah. I think we might be, could we be setting up, uh, what did I see? Listen, that we could be doing elect, uh, like judgment day, why it's six stuff at, um, at, at wrestling, like early lead up to WrestleMania, I think could be,

[00:32:05] but I do think I like Alexa Bliss as a, I do find the, like, I kind of get why, like the Wyatt six stuff, um, has sort of like not gone anywhere. I think the supernatural stuff is like, basically there's like, it's really hard one superstar in the history of wrestling to like pull it off for his entire career. And it's the undertaker. Um, and, uh, so I, I really like Alexa. Um, I just find like being attached to this thing. It's like kind of the, I think one of the things

[00:32:35] people thought when the lights went off was that it was like a Wyatt six thing. That was like my initial thing. And then obviously it was Jade. Um, I heard that too, that like maybe Alexa would, what the Wyatts would help her win, but she's doing, you know, she's doing very Wyatt-y stuff. So I don't know. It's just tough. I don't know. That's what I'm trying to figure out. I was trying to figure out like, how is she like, um, like, is she with them? Is she not with them? Are they still trying to figure it out? One of the things that's hard is that the whole, I guess,

[00:33:05] cause they're called the six and they're not the same, but the whole, the idea was that like there was six of them, but there's five of them and Bray Wyatt always has a spot. So then when you add Alexa, like you take someone out, uh, I don't think you are. So they'll just be like the six person group and then Bray Wyatt like technically has a spot, but, um, yeah, I don't know. I, I'm, I, I thought a little bit like maybe Alexa could win cause I thought Alexa Rio or Alexa Rio is like a very interesting match, but, um, but is it interesting in a way of like

[00:33:35] build to build in two months when, like the only reason why one of the only reasons why I wasn't behind it is because that, that would mean that both the women who won both the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber were women who had, who have not been competing over the year. They had just come back and we would really have to build a storyline from right now. You know what I'm saying? That was, that was my biggest thought process. I was like, so how do you build an Alexa Rio storyline as a like,

[00:34:05] right now? Um, so. She was the only person not in the six, uh, woman tag from the night before where you had Raquel with Liv instead of adding Alexa to the team and Alexa comes out at the end and, uh, hits her finisher on, uh, on Roxanne. But yeah, she definitely felt the most like not involved in anything. Yeah. Yeah. Right. So, you know, uh, but I, I hope they, like, I know, I say hope, I know they're going to find a place for her because she just, she just moves so much merch and stuff like that.

[00:34:35] Yeah. people love her. So they'll find it, but I just, yeah, it just doesn't make sense. Actually, yeah, this is true. The, the, um, the shows, they have like the, like low, they have the merch stand that's like, so they had the superstore, uh, set up at the item, but at both, um, uh, uh, Scotiabank where Smackdown was and the watch center, like throughout the concourse, they have the like merch stands that are like set up throughout the concourse and so they typically only have about like six shirts set up

[00:35:04] and some of them are like local, like Toronto, like Toronto elimination chamber shirts or whatever, like ones that are for that show. Um, there was a, uh, rock, like I want to buy your soul shirt. There was a year yeeting. That thing is over. That thing is. The, um, and the amount of kids who are like wanting to get you chance started, whatever. So the fact that he was like not on the show at all, I think it was a big bummer for a lot of, uh, either show, obviously, um, it was a big bummer for a lot of people, but, um, one of the shirts in the collection of things

[00:35:33] was an Alexa Bliss shirt is one of like the like six shirts that were like at merch stand. So just seriously, like, yeah, she does move a lot. It sucks. Like, cause yeah, cause the women, women's merch at those events. It's literally like one act. All I wanted was a Sammy's ain't shirt. I wanted a Sammy's ain't shirt so bad. No Sammy's ain't shirts. No. They do a thing where you can get free shipping. Like they put a QR code on the thing. So I might just like buy it and hopefully I can get free shipping. I'll say this though, that I just, my thing with Alexa, I, like,

[00:36:03] she makes me, she, she almost seems like she's in a time warp to me because she's been doing this gimmick and granted, she was out for so long, but I feel like they keep putting her back in this gimmick rather than leveraging her talents, which like, she's a good actor. Like she's able to play a gimmick. I would just like to see something new and fresh and maybe like plain old Alexa rather than her with the doll and everything else. But I, I get it because

[00:36:33] people love Alexa no matter what. The money, the money. I forgot that she's been doing this gimmick since the pandemic because she was doing it in a Thunderdome. Five years? A Thunderdome. Four years. Yeah. Yeah. But she was out, she was out for two. So, yeah, that's true. I didn't even think about that. Um, so once it gets down to Bianca and Liv, this is where like, I was like, Can I? Yeah. What? What? I just have to say my favorite thing, I have to mention this spot. I don't like when Bianca gets her hair pulled, but Liv was ragged on her.

[00:37:03] This was good. This was good. The yo-yo? Yeah, the yo-yo. Especially after she whipped Liv so hard that Liv was like literally bleeding from her hair. That was hilarious, yo. The whip though, but then this, was just hilarious. I was like, you know what? I'll allow it. It was so funny. You gotta have a little bit of camp in your wrestling sometimes. Bouncing off the ropes, hitting, hitting them. So disrespectful though. Um, the only thing I found by keeping it between Liv

[00:37:32] and Bianca to end it was it, I think that like, as much, I think Liv is phenomenal and I think I really appreciate her like, especially over the last year or so, like, I think her feud with Therria for me has really like, I'm like, oh yeah, okay, I really get it and I get why people have been so like, almost like, I feel like people are like kind of a little bit obsessed with her in a weird way, in a way that I don't, yeah, I don't, the man, the male fans of the shows being like, I, I, you know, love Liv sign or whatever. Um, but it just kind of, the only piece about, I think my like critique

[00:38:02] maybe of like, is it like, it felt really obvious that it wouldn't be Liv because like, they're not going to do Liv versus Rhea again and I don't think they're going to, I don't think EO's going to win the belt. So, you know, it is what it is. I agree. I think, um, first off, I just want to say I've been a big Liv Morgan fan since she was doing that very dumb Jersey gimmick in NXT, mostly because I used to always say that there's, there's two women in the company I think could sell like nobody's business. It was Sasha Banks

[00:38:32] at the time and Liv Morgan. Liv Morgan sells like she has been shot with a shotgun and I love her for that. Like selling is my favorite part of wrestling. Um, and for her to be getting her flowers like over this, this last year and, and this character would just fit her so perfectly after her having to go through like all this crap to get here. I'm so happy for her. But also I, I agree, Grace. I think mostly I knew it wasn't

[00:39:01] going to be Liv because she had just taken the tag team belts, um, from, um, Bianca and Naomi. And so to me, I was like, okay, that's her guaranteed spot on to WrestleMania still is like still her thank you for the year. Um, they'll figure out who they'll, who's next for her. Um, but also I get it. They, they really did put the pin in the Rhea, uh, Liv, Liv, uh, storyline, but honestly, I still wouldn't have been that if it was her.

[00:39:30] But all that being said, I did like that Bianca won. I thought the, the ending sequence was so good. Them countering each other's finishers. Bianca and Liv had really done great work together. And to see Bianca become the first woman to win the chamber twice was just amazing. I think it was a good call because now we're getting Rhea first. Well, okay. Rhea, EO versus Bianca, you know? Um,

[00:40:01] and if we get Rhea versus Bianca, it'll, on WrestleMania, it'll be the first time, it'll be like, it's like the passing of the torch, right? It's, it's the official passing of the torch from the four horse women to the, the next ones up that they have been counting for the past four or five years, which is normally like your Rhea, your, um, Bianca, your Raquel. And I don't know if where EO stands in that because it feels like she's just too big to be put into those categories

[00:40:31] or whatever. But my thought process is once Bianca won, it was like, if they do this correctly, they should be able to run Rhea versus Bianca like three WrestleMania straight. Like Rhea versus Bianca should be this generation's Austin in the round. But it's a question because Bianca, Bianca is still undefeated at WrestleMania, which is just so fascinating

[00:40:59] to me because Rhea is Rhea. And so what are they going to do? How are they going to approach it? Will Bianca win? My money, if I were a betting man, would say that Bianca wins because that's her streak. But Rhea did just win the championship like two months ago. And it would kind of feel wrong for her to lose it this way after having so much momentum last year. So either way, I'm like,

[00:41:28] I'm here for the journey. Regardless of what happens, like I'm excited that we will nine time, like 99% guaranteed get Rhea versus Bianca at Mania. Finally. Pull up Dave Meltz comments real quick. And I want to say something. Which ones? Which ones? Yeah. Yeah. So maybe they could make a heel Bianca versus a face Ripley. So let me just say real quick and then I'll shoot it to Grace.

[00:41:56] I hate face versus face matches. Me too. Like I hate face versus face matches, but I don't think that makes sense. I don't think with what's going on with Jade and Naomi, heel Bianca, face Rhea doesn't make sense. So what I think they should do is I do think they should run it as a face versus face. And I think there should be shenanigans. I think that's how you get out of that bat mat. Or maybe

[00:42:28] some shenanigans happen during the Rhea-Eyo match on Monday and we make it a triple threat. Make it a triple threat, you cowards. Make it a triple threat. Bladder match, baby. Do something crazy. I think they might. If you make it a triple threat, technically, if we're going by Charlotte streak rules, if Bianca loses, it doesn't count because it's not a one-on-one. That's not it. That's not how it works. That's their rule. That's how that works.

I also do hate face versus face matches, but I have to say I do feel like just being at the show, it's interesting because like Seth Rollins, for example, I feel like has been being booed for or like he's I feel like he's been playing a little, you know, heel-ish, but like there would be almost like I don't know. I know that they like I feel like they're so much more interested in the story and figuring out like how to navigate that

[00:43:28] than they are being like this is a clear good guy. This is a clear bad guy, you know, and so like it's almost like you know makes it so that I actually do think you can like kind of have face versus face but you could have Rhea in here playing a little more heel in this story than whatever. I do think the other thing that like people are talking about is like Bianca is a Smackdown star and so how do you what happens if like she wins the title and they it feels like they almost exclusively

[00:43:59] keep couples together on shows now and so you'd have like if Bianca moves to run but the other thing too is they could swap so like swap the belts they always swap the belts after Mania anyways Tiff or Charlotte whoever whoever wins that match could just go to Ron Bianca can keep the like if she I I actually think at this point Bianca it's funny not knees but I feel like

[00:44:29] I don't know how long when was the last time she was champ when was the last time she was it was a year so if anybody is wondering why Bianca is winning this it is because she's old one like it's okay like they do this with Charlotte all the time Charlotte was supposed to win that the um the Royal Rumble that Becky won when she got the man gimmick over they repaid her by giving her the Royal Rumble win the next year where she went after the NXT title because that was the only place they could fit it Bianca was supposed to

[00:44:59] face Charlotte last year um while she was the champion but Charlotte got injured they had to uh rewrite that story Bianca no longer had the title they put Bianca in the tag team division Bianca has been working the tag team division for a year and now this is her this is her her payback this is her um we owe you one so she's getting that mania spot against Rhea so it's funny because yeah it's not even that I think that like she you know is owed

[00:45:29] I almost feel like I I feel like it's just better to give Bianca a title run at this point than like Rhea needing a title run I feel like Rhea needs a little bit of like uh not being the champ for a bit you know yeah I don't know chasing yeah yeah I'm with that and I but I do think it's interesting this like just in a fantasy booking world the idea of a heel Bianca like I know this won't happen for a variety of reasons you know even just because of

[00:45:59] her popularity but imagine a world where uh Jade attacked Naomi uh Bianca sides with Jade you know or imagine I don't know I'm just like there's there's so many variations that could happen that I do like the idea that Bianca could turn heel even though we're probably a while away from that like you know I like I know that like in long term at some point we'll eventually have to do Bianca versus Jade but in the meantime

[00:46:28] if Naomi like attacked Jade uh and it is the heel in this feud Bianca winning the title and setting up Bianca versus Naomi is actually super fun to think about so right because you don't I like what you're talking about Grace because you don't want the you don't want Bianca and Jade to happen yet because that's a mania match down the line like that's a mania match for mania 42 next year wherever

[00:48:27] what they've been trying she's like can I tell you Trish didn't really get a good reaction on either Smackdown or why not I I don't know I don't think she is I I don't I like because they kind of like here's Trish but she did the whole run like she did the run like she came back for a whole you know she did the heel run I don't know I think it's funny because when you look I always think about when you

[00:48:57] look back at like wrestlers who like have so one thing I heard the bloodline has lasted longer than the NWO the entire run of the NWO but wow yeah the timeline of like wrestling now is so true where it's like if you if you left for like I think Shane McMahon by the time he left and came back was six years remember how loud that pop was that he came when he like came back to WWE

[00:49:27] and like whatever I know I do feel like there's a little bit of like you kind of have to be away for longer I think to like sort of get this like you know CM Punk went away for 12 yeah something like that 2014 and came back in 2003 so it's nine so people like Trish but I think that she just like she's not I don't know there's I felt like she didn't get the reaction I thought she was going to get when she showed up on

[00:51:36] like I thought this match was so funny because a month ago we just saw Naya you know she had to she powered off like 10 women at once and then Trish freaking Stratus is like is taking her out of all people no offense to Trish but super Trish like I love these this mom strength that she has going on because I mean you know Mari she could you could probably power slam Naya too so yeah damn it was a good match you know it was a good match yeah

[00:52:06] did it feel like a cool down match grace after like everything that was going on with the chamber and stuff yeah except you probably could have used the cool down a little bit late I mean I know it's tough because only four matches but yeah yeah so yeah and so and I'm glad Candice LeRae got on a pay-per-view like a is this potentially I know like obviously we have the whole like Cody segment yeah but this is this like when's the last time we had a 50-50 men versus women that

[00:52:35] wasn't an NXT match that's I don't know it's only four matches but half of them were women's I love that I truly did love that yeah wow I didn't think Triple H liked women's wrestling so this is cool and I think that's part of what kept me engaged I'm good this is part of what kept me engaged and the next match too which I feel like like always they always kill it an unsanctioned match versus

[00:53:06] Kevin Owens versus Sami Zayn they even reference El Generico and Kevin Steen when I tell you again I saw I went to Battlegrounds 2016 scene here in DC when it was Kevin versus Sami technically I remember if I remember correctly for the first time in WWE and I remember watching that match being like this is I have transcended like Battlegrounds 2016 is still one of my my favorite

[00:53:36] pay-per-views and I was like oh okay unsanctioned it's the two of them it's like you know they're gonna deliver and you know the storytelling is gonna be there so it's just like yeah yeah you know what I'm saying like it was it was just so good it was so good and then I was like I was like who barbed barbed this chair who had the time and then not only did they barbed wire the chair I was like who

[00:54:06] like Christmas barbed like they did it so perfectly it looks so good it looked too good it looks so pretty that I'm like oh I would love to be hit with that barbed wire chair you know it looked kind of clean but they used that chair by the way this whole match like I think I realized something about myself that I when I'm watching these insane hardcore matches I think I dissociate a little bit because there's

[00:54:36] so much chaos like so much of a train wreck that I don't remember these insane matches mostly because I'm probably cringing for half of it I'm flinching I'm like same this is the match that made me buy a ticket when they when they announced that this was happening I was like okay whatever I'm gonna go try I was waiting for the prices to come down I'll just very quickly interject my WWE is like hey this is the biggest gate in the history of wrestling it's like

[00:55:05] you've sold it just means you're charging way more for tickets so annoying whatever whatever so this is what I was like okay fine if I'm gonna watch get to watch Kevin and an unsanctioned match I'm gonna go see it so I like you know just bit the bullet and bought a ticket and for more money than I wanted to spend but that's fine so this lived up to expectations I thought the presentation of it was really cool I think that the idea of like blocking out the turnbuckle pads the referee not wearing his referee

[00:55:35] shirt it's good there's a little bit where you could be like but then they also did entrance music and introductions and you know all ring bell and all this stuff like the

[00:56:07] itself totally delivered through the two tables the hockey stick was fun the chair was good the multiple finishers the calling back to the power bomb on the apron was really great twice I actually like and I bought it I was like no he'll kick out and then he didn't kick out you know I thought it was great obviously all setting up like the one thing is like I

[00:56:37] that's where they're going they're going obviously with KO versus the man who returned so no yep this was good it

[00:57:08] they was wearing the gloves wearing a black t-shirt because he looked like he was a bouncer at a club he was ready to pick up the cup already wearing the gloves already

[00:57:38] yeah and we didn't get any blood I thought we were going to get blood when KO hit his head on the thing I thought he bladed that was interesting they saved blood for one moment of the show I was going to say I thought that's why the ref was there with the little blood gloves and I I

[00:58:08] actually don't mind I don't mind when you leave the ring and I can't see anything that's happened on I paid money to go see your show how dare how dare that's real so let's get to the men's chamber match which I was honestly again we have to just quickly acknowledge Randy Orton returns I know the people would curse

[00:58:38] us out if we didn't talk about it after the second apron powerbomb in the roll up Randy Orton returns and I mean setting up Randy versus KO it was so good like it's it's it's basically like KO found his humanity like teaming up with with Randy and then the minute that Randy is gone it's like he slowly devolves back into that prize fighter like just wanting a title not wanting anybody to get in his way

[00:59:08] and then Randy comes back it's like yes they're going to fight but it also feels like he's coming to slap some sensitive is it to me he's also the guy who's energy it's like I'm gonna kill you like the voice is in my head yeah you mess with the wrong guy like you beat up the wrong dude bro one of my favorite thing just to shout out I do love to go to Toronto indie shows so it's very fun when WWE comes to town because you get to see so on Smackdown the guy who was behind Cody Rhodes that's local Toronto guy

[00:59:38] Johnny DeLuca one of the guys who let me just it was a special shout out Shane Saber is one of the guys who got an RKO last night he's just a local Toronto guy runs a local indie company amazing wrestler just to see

[01:00:11] love when Randy goes on the RKO marathon it's fun yeah the hand to the last guy was great yeah yeah no it's it's hilarious though when they're just like kind of waiting they're like queuing up to get the RKO and he's like okay come on over hits them with the RKO come like I I appreciate it I also just love that the guys get that moment I'm sure many of them grew up watching Randy Orton so it's probably pretty special

[01:00:42] not getting the punch that was a good moment too I like which means that they're gonna say like say that like he's he's definitely getting punted like but maybe that's the WrestleMania maybe talk that was really good like in ring storytelling you know in

[01:01:13] my casual viewing of it I was no I was just like I truly was like any one of these people could win to me I was like this sounds fun so we had Drew McIntyre Seth Rollins CM Punk John Cena Damien Priest and Logan Paul oh that's why Logan Paul with the American flag boo

[01:01:42] love that I hate that man but I love that he understands the assignment you know what I could say nobody got booed more other than yeah not even at the main event was Logan Paul and so I don't know if people want him to go away you have to stop booing him exactly they're going to keep bringing him around he gets the loudest reaction but in him the night before I loved the segment on Smackdown of like basically the five chamber participants without John Cena

[01:02:12] Logan Paul got booed more than anybody like you got the loudest reaction I think of anybody so you know yeah so hateable he is um yeah so we do get Drew and Seth starting so within this match was a lot of that like uh like Drew is taking his eye off the prize like he or Seth like it was just so much much like Drew Seth and CM Punk are so intertwined with each other that they can't get the job done

[01:02:42] i.e. one of them winning the belt you know what I'm saying like they were just so mad at each other that they basically let John Cena win in a sense um Logan Paul to meet Logan Paul and Damian well not Damian Priest because Damian Priest got Drew McIntyre out first I believe they're setting that up right Priest versus McIntyre but let's Smackdown that's gonna be the mania match that's that's fine it's so tough because it's like the main event

[01:03:12] scene is so crowded that you're like I'm actually interested to talk about how sort of the pieces come together at least and because well no though because like it's sort of um I think mostly related to like I think you could do Punk Rollins Roman mania but I also think like I do think like the whole thing of like CM Punk's whole deal being like I've never made a match to WrestleMania

[01:03:41] it does feel like every year it doesn't happen you're like he's been doing pretty a pretty good job of holding holding up you know since his first injury coming back like compared with his AEW stint where it was like everywhere you look there's something that's coming up holding him back like I would like to think next year's his year Nola will be there Mari will be in

[01:04:11] the front row finally but the thing is it's so funny because I could also see him getting inserted into the stuff that happens in the main event because like is there any other reason that he's not in the main event other than the rock being around like it's like every time it could be CM Punk's time to be in the main event it's like no the rock's here so the rock's gonna be wait yeah I'm sorry what is Roman doing at mania I was just

[01:05:41] Heyman has the rocks number that's been a thing I've seen thrown out where like that's how Punk gets added to this match between Cody and John but I thought there was more feasible well there's two I mean I don't know if we want to talk about but you know yeah let's talk about it so the last segment which was maybe the wildest moment I've ever seen wildest moment you live I couldn't imagine watching it I was done with my crap this time thank God because

[01:06:41] cheated to beat Cody at Codelander he cheated to be Kevin at the Rumble like maybe there is something to Cody accepting against Cena being sort of the people's champ and they just do the complete opposite and John Cena for the first time it's so funny that it's taken John Cena you know 20 years to earn the respect of the fans right for like him to not for it not

[01:07:10] to be like let's go Cena Cena sucks you know people love him there's so much Cena merch happening out there and then finally now he turns heel the moment is so cinematic of the hug Rock telling him to do it I'm a little like I don't want it to be like Cena being Rocks like bitch I do think there's a lot here I think that like for people feeling like it's so surprising there is a lot of ways Cena has since become a Hollywood guy he's a part-timer Hollywood guy and then them being like Cody you could

[01:07:40] have had this route with like like Rock and I and you chose not like you're like no it's not the way and so I think this could be like this is like a wild I think Cena heel is the one thing that made like this match like not really make the most sense right so that shit was crazy sorry I so I'm like okay they're hugging and then the rock with the most dramatic like

[01:08:09] it's just this you don't have to do the thing it's like eight different things well he had to give him a baseball thing it was like he was voguing for a second I'm like what are we doing but like what no but I did not know what was happening exactly because I saw the eye contact and I'm like okay the rock is doing something weird he's looking at John Cena they're looking

[01:08:39] at each other like he's threatening Cena and then John Cena but the fans in the front row some of them were like what is it about to happen and then that low blow I think a lot of people thought the hug was like the fake like it was oh first of all Cody dropped an F-bomb on WWE oh right we forgot about that because yeah he did which me I don't care I don't care I personally don't care I don't care about cussing

[01:09:09] being there or not being there but like when he dropped I was like oh look that's cute are the pay-per-views are they still on Peacock are they on Peacock yeah yeah that was the one thing I was a little bit surprised a little more I can think like being on Netflix you could curse but I thought because the pay-per-views or the PLEs or whatever were still on like I know Peacock is streaming but like they feel like NBC's still more like whatever but none they just went for it because in Canada the pay-per-views are now all on Netflix everything's on Netflix Raw Smackdown NXT

[01:09:38] and the pay-views are all on Netflix in Canada which is amazing wow yeah that's good I heard it's like really good for you guys over there now so yeah the swearing and then but I think people I don't know I don't know people I thought like when he when Cody went in for the hug I thought that was like oh Cody is like he actually is going to do like I know we had the moment but I thought it was like a double kind of like when they would fake out the credit thing being on the thing and then you get the I thought it was like the double fake out and then they completely got me that it was

[01:10:10] yes well yeah sorry were you okay no I was sitting here I was like James Cena's heel he's like I see I'm like yeah just yelling at the top of my lungs again at 11 o'clock at night I just it was I was in disbelief but also I was pissed I was like why the fuck Travis Scott

[01:10:39] the rock's music was cool Travis Scott he didn't even come out with the microphone I'm like what are we doing here and then he's just in the background all the time just in the camera and I'm like he's not adding to this and then as I realized what is actually happening like with Cena turning heel I'm getting more infuriated because I'm like this is like Steve Austin shaking McMahon's hand level of like history shifting this is Hulk coming out

[01:11:09] with the Outsiders history shifting why is Travis Scott there like okay yes because I'm give me give me anybody else give me Vanessa yeah give me give me sexy red give me Mike Tyson bring him back give me nobody this is a moment I'll take anybody other than Travis Scott honestly if you had to have anybody Danielle Fischel of love her

[01:11:39] I saw a really great tweet that was like Travis Scott being there is like imagine in like 85 when like Andre rips the shirt off Hogan and then it's just Bon Jovi in the background but even then I was literally saying that to James he's like I think you're over exaggerate I was like no imagine in 96 Hogan turns and well

[01:12:09] no I mean it's just it's ridiculous but it's to me it's the fact that he literally gives nothing and then I'm like wait is he smoking weed here but it was it or was it sage they said it was sage and then I've seen weed's legal in Canada don't worry about it yeah even then same but he's getting all smoked up Cena got a little secondhand high right there oh here's what here's I was saying that

[01:12:39] the way that you could insert punk in this match which I number right that was the same they've done that and so he could call in his favor to be inserted in the triple threat and the reason it would make sense

[01:13:09] is for rock to be like I obviously want Cena to win but as long as Cody doesn't win yeah sure punk come on like come man event Wrestlemania and the triple threat I think you could like create the punk's out of the equation he's not going to main event Wrestlemania this year so which again

[01:13:39] I was kind of like when I kept saying Cena and Cody are going to main event Wrestlemania I was like poor Jay because again the Royal Rumble winner is supposed to they're going to have to figure this out where they like you win the Rumble you main event Wrestlemania because there's just not even the double like night one being a main event or whatever with four title match you know this it's you can't they just they just make mania

[01:14:09] like four nights and then each night you have a week long yeah it's egregious it's like 100 days there's live every day every morning Taryn updates us on what happened at WB that would be I'd be down we keep telling I keep telling Taryn like you need a covered Taser gonna be like oh that's weird I slotted WB Ron to the to why how did that happen

[01:14:38] weird we'll work on did of he's the final boss he's that he's selling it so like the rock is so good as you know and Cena like I want to hear

[01:15:28] really like and I feel like this thing right now is the embodiment of the thing I get most frustrated at by WWE fans which is we're in an era of instant gratification everything has to be perfect and make sense and as much as I like so the rock came out on January 6th and yeah and he was like me so there's this segment where he's very much

[01:15:58] like nice guy chair of the board Cody and I made up and we're like oh okay like they just dropped that whole thing it's gone he shows back up to be like hey I gotta I want to buy your soul the selling your soul thing I once we got on smack down and like CM punk and Cody talking about

[01:16:28] about it are true stuff he's the soul man that was so good but I do think like now when you look back on it people are like well that you know why was he like the baby face guy on January 6th well the it was all basically an act like I want you to be my

[01:16:58] champ I want you to see what I can do for you look what I can do for you and so the idea people like it was a really good of course and this was like an incredible final segment

[01:17:28] I don't know I think but could you imagine there are kids who are crying right now all over the world like there are not even just a few kids there are thousands of kids literally crying right now as I speak because of John Cena turning heel there are people who are probably tearing up their Cena shirts burning them throwing them out whatever because of this like this is a huge moment and I think it was the perfect time to do it because better late than never

[01:17:58] but damn this was wild like the whole thing but the fact that Cena I know he's going to be such a like he'll probably come out in a suit I just I know what I want honestly I want the little black trunks like tiny black trunks you want the prototype

[01:18:27] rock or John Cena back you know early I need to pull up a picture of a prototype John Cena but yes that's exactly what heel jersey run of like you know it's like if you're oh yeah that was never comfortable yeah I didn't like that I mean I liked it but I don't know about now what if he wins the title and makes it spin again

[01:20:09] John Cena so I think he will win the interesting piece is everybody I thought at some point Randy would win and that's how Cena would get his 17th belt now I don't know I think Cena wins the title as his 17th win and how does Cody likely get it back at some point maybe not I don't know changing something that's so

[01:20:38] landscape shifting then you're like the fantasy booking possibilities are like oh my god what does this mean for like whether he's going to win and fight against like it's so fun yes yes no it's I mean but the okay I have to just in

[01:21:08] age and H love they remember when Cena had come back and he was in the corner during I think it was punk and Drew and Seth you know like remember he was in he was reacting in the back oh snap snap like i forget who was in the maybe it was roman i can't remember but i like how they had set it up where like this is

[01:21:33] funny jokey cena because when when um cody told uh rock to go fuck yourself uh he was like yeah it just made it just made the the hill turn just so much more like out of nowhere honestly so yeah soulless soulless cena i love that i mean i i'm excited like i don't even know what else we can

[01:21:59] talk about because it's just like where do you go from here how do you have like this ple opened with like a big moment and closed with a huge moment like they this was oh really good i i like saying i gotta say one one thing i have to come back to while we're here i have seen us look he from bring it back 20 plus years ago from obw jack cena i thought you were about to show that you

[01:22:26] were wearing jorts you're like i have seen this look i was thinking yeah i am but always always i'm always wearing jorts under what i'm wearing yeah no the black sunglasses i i will say do you think he should i don't want to yeah that hair he he would love to have that hair now and it's so distracting the other thing i think like what i really like about this is i feel like it felt like oh my god

[01:22:51] are they gonna do this ever they're gonna turn cody heel cody um uh when the show went off the air cody like cole michael cole and wade barrett went in the ring and helped cody up and then he just looked stunned and was leaving and he got a really big ovation um for like you know standing up at the end of the show i think like this really cements him as like i mean i think the like no i sold my soul to this ring and these fans and then telling him to go f himself is like huge for cody in terms of

[01:23:18] in terms passing the torch it's passing the torch to cody as a lifelong baby face until he turns heel again and i feel like i i feel like the thing that's fun to me about all of it is that i never thought that cody would turn healed people have been talking about that but i just don't see it he's you know you mentioned earlier that sasha and live are on the women's side just so amazing at selling

[01:23:44] but for me cody like cody is so great at bring the emotional cells i agree this moment was a great example of that so i'm but i'm with you grace that i think this really cements this cements cody's spot as that ultimate underdog baby face get his ass kicked leading up to mania i do hope he wins though i would like to see his win at mania but then again he'll see you know he was he'll chase again he's good at

[01:24:11] chasing me to me i think the thing that i was always a little bit like oh man i really don't i it was like i think it'd be cool to see heel cody but i really don't think they should do it because i remember going to a house show cody wasn't champ this was like i think before he won his first rumble and it was a house show in toronto in december and cody was in the main event and he beat whoever and then

[01:24:35] he stayed and he signed and took pictures with every single yeah in the front of us he stays and does it he does more like dates and and press and all of this stuff that i think like um yeah he got he got cheers is the american nightmare in canada i'll also say as well um well i mean for good reason

[01:24:57] but i just don't think there's like really anybody in this moment who does as much like he does the thing that john cena did for years like all the make a wish uh stuff and like all of that i think it's like the reason i kept being like i really don't think they're gonna do it and i'm i but like it does feel like a new era where it's like triple h will do what's best for the story because like john cena turning heel is like the the coolest story ever um and probably like you know it doesn't

[01:25:26] i don't know it's just it is quite an incredible time i think so yeah i'm happy it's baby face cody against heel john cena totally and the thing is baby face cody hasn't gotten old yet so i agree that's and that's and that's something i think they should lean into because i expected that it would get old a long time ago and it you know i know he returned a few years ago at this point but it feels like he

[01:25:54] just got back so that was the other thing i think i was thinking that matt was that you also don't want to turn him heel once it's his stick is so old that you're like well now of course you do want to capitalize on the moment of like yeah you know it's it's it's still too soon expected yeah i do agree i could i wouldn't be like so cena this is cena's last run right he said this whole last year right last year like toronto being ever it was like his last match in toronto that's what it was advertised

[01:26:23] right you never see him wrestle in toronto ever against everything they're doing this year sure it'll be john cena's last wrestlemania it'll be his last summer slam it'll be less so probably it'll be his last title match it'll be his last so if you do want to end with john cena effing off and cody i mean and cody again with the championship and heel you could just have cody chase all year all year be stagnant and then finally have to cheat to win and that be like

[01:26:52] and then at the end he's heel and in the rock's pocket and the rock be like see i told you you would eventually sell some of your soul you know i'm saying like he has to yeah because he needs to cody needs cody does need to get his redemption somehow i mean the one thing that like i think everything with the rock's so interesting because they're or not the rock john cena everything the rock's also very interesting but everything with john cena in terms of who he's gonna have matches

[01:27:18] with this year is so fascinating to me because we did get the moment with him and punk you know where they kind of had a mini match within the chamber match so maybe we don't need that as a full-on match maybe that's scratching our itch but i i feel really good if cody has cena's last match and it's a passing of the torch of cody beats cena gets his championship back gets his licks back um we'll
